Sure, here is one example. IOS version is cleaner.
Here's what my Amazon app looks like in that same query. Not only does it look as clean as the iOS app, but it appears to have more functionality.

Not sure when I used it on my M8 it just seemed off. I think its the black bar which sticks out.
Anyway its very petty stuff but something that I noticed and my opinion of course.

Well I am fed up with my test Note 5. I really thought I would love it as tons of friends tell me it is good. I really wanted to love it. I've tried to love it, but I don't.
Group messages suck (huge thing in my family for planning events and stuff).
Pics sent and received are crap quality.
Mine lags.
When I unlock with my fingerprint it opens a random app, even if I highlighted the messages app, sometimes it pulls up S Health, other times Clash of Clans...but it's random.
Keyboard (both stock and Swiftkey) will stay open even when they shouldn't be there.
Reboots don't help. Factory Reset didn't help.
I am not impressed at all. Some may say I am hating, others may think I am an apple fanboy, but honest to goodness I wanted this phone to rock. Maybe I have a messed up one. Maybe it's touchwiz and another phone would work better. I do not know for sure. But what I do know is that I can't take this 30 day trial seriously. I will be buying a new iPhone when they come out next month.

Its going to be a long time before we see a battery as good as the 6 plus on another phone, its suppose to increase 1 hour too with IOS9.
Wasn't that long ago everyone was complaining about iPhone battery and rightly so, now its the king.

The king? Not even close. There are at least 10 phones with better battery life, probably more. (S6 Active, Note 4, Galaxy S5, Droid Turbo, BB Passport, Sony Z3, Sony Z3c, Moto Razr Maxx)
The iphone has great stand by time, but once you use it it's mediocre.

I have zero issues with group texts and have many friends with iphones and my pictures come in razor sharp.

I'll be 100% honest and I have had the gs5 and gs6 and those phones have never once rebooted on me or froze.I will be the first one to call bs on your biased fake review.post a screen shot of those 30kb pictures lol

I also have been using the finger print unlock and it has NEVER once in 2 years almost using it done what your note 5 is doing.

Please use your iPhone 6 and video tape these issues.I'm dying to see a note 5 reboot.I'll even bet you 100 bucks and I'll pay pall it to you if you can force the thing to reboot.like run a million apps and multi screen and youtube and record in 4k at the same time and bet you 100 bucks it won't reset.

I'm calling you out!

Let's see this phone reboot and open up in a random app with a finger print scan.

Heck you might as well send a picture and show us that crappy text you seem to be having

Just lol

I don't even think you have a note 5 now.post a pic of it with this thread loaded up on the screen with your iPhone

Bingo! Too many people here are so quick to believe all this BS about how horrible Samsung flagship perform. They act like the phones are so unusable. Then As soon as someone complains about iOS being buggy or laggy, those same people that are quick to believe how horrible the Sammy flagship are, quickly lash out and call them trolls. I knew right off the hop this poster was up to no good. I say people need to be less politically correct and just call them all out.

Maybe you forgot that I admitted that I could have a bad unit? But I will post a screenshot of the 30kb photo later when I have another device and then see if I can get the other issues to reoccur. Keep in mind though that it goes both ways. Just cause you haven't had issues doesn't mean others don't.
I'm not saying they are bad phones, I have friends who use them with no problems. Heck when I was getting help trying to figure out the issue my friend is on an s4 and it worked great.
My personal test phone has been a terrible experience. I'll have to looks at the terms and conditions and see if I can get another one because I do love a lot of things about the device. If you see my other posts you see me mention that the screen is awesome. I love the simplicity of the led alerts. I love being able to customize. But again I will say I may have a bad device.
PS- I really do hope it's just a bad unit and I can still get my 100. Win win for me to get a good next unit and money.

I get where you are coming from. I wish you were right here so I could show you. I'm not lying. Not trying to be fowl or call anyone else a liar. Simply stating that my experience has been poor. Does that make me a bad person that has to be called out? I was actually hoping others here would have answers to these problems, instead I get called a liar. Hmm... Something to think about for all of us, no?

Textra did the same thing. Same as hangouts. :-/

Hmm, a quick search shows this is a fairly common Android+Verizon problem. The only solution I saw was to use Textra and make sure the MMS file size in the settings is set to 1 or 2 MB.

Odd that there isn't a universal solution yet... I'm guessing even though it's "common", most people have their MMS working just fine out of the box... sorry you've got so many issues on your test device! I can see how it could ruin your impression of Samsung/Android.

I would imagine that chap is trying to think of a witty reply or most likely will ignore it altogether. You owned both of them good and proper lol. He's quick to shoot down Note 5 owners who have had teething issues yet hadn't posted any pics of his Note 5 if he actually has one. :)

Thank you guys for understanding. I will try textra again. I thought it was an issue that imessage was causing the problem but it's been disabled, so I don't think it is that. I don't know if I set the limit to message size on textra... I thought I had but I'll give it another go.
Anyone have a link to the Terms and conditions for this promo? I really would like to trade this one in if it isn't too late.

Shame this offer is only available in the US. I wouldnt mind using a Edge plus for 1 month whilst waiting for the price to drop 50%. Still cant get a deal that I am happy to pay.

iPhone 6s plus out soon as well as Sony Z5. At least I have secured a 6 month unlimited 4G data sim for £30 one off payment.

All you're doing is being honest at the end of the day. Clearly to some who get defensive by any comment that they think can't be true...every phone can have a flaw.

Here is another issue. Screen doesn't always accept my input. Please, send me $100. Unless I specifically have to get it to reboot on camera... then I guess I am out of luck. It happens less often, but I don't want to record every single thing I do until it happens.

So after posting earlier about being able to stick with the Note 5... it's going back. It is a great phone and I experienced almost none of the problems that the OP had.

My main sticking points where the usual ones. FaceTime and iMessage are things I use regularly, I also just like the messaging on the iPhone better. I recently switched to apple music for streaming and forgot that the android app isn't out yet so that was also a minor inconvenience. What it ultimately came down to though was that the only reason I even considered trying something out was that smartphones in general have started to feel kind of stale. I thought that the s-pen would help with that but outside of a couple convenient screen off notes I hardly ever used it. It is a better phone than my current 6 Plus, but I'll probably just end up with a 6s Plus and just accept the fact that there isn't going to be anything new enough any time soon to bring back that feeling that came with using the original iPhone after years of having dumb phones.

Anyone have a link to the Terms and conditions for this promo? I really would like to trade this one in if it isn't too late.

Messaging is the one of the greatest obstacles I have when switching to Android as well. I will preface that a significant majority of my regular contacts use iPhones as well so that alone gives iMessage a huge advantage. The problem I see it that Android doesn't have a native solution that replicates iMessage's functionality and I don't think we'll see something similar on Android anytime soon as it would require locking down messaging for users, forcing them to use one messaging application.

So when I'm on Android, the bulk of my messaging ends up being of the SMS/MMS variety and thus subject to carrier limitations. Textra was my messaging app of choice and I ended up seeing improved MMS by bumping up the file size limit to 1MB (tried 3 MB would AT&T wouldn't have it :(). Something else does seem to be at play though as a 30k limit is extreme. Make sure you have fully deactivated iMessage and deregistered your iPhone here.

You can get around this limitation by using 3rd party messaging platforms (WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger being 2 of the more popular, or Hangouts), but it requires that those with whom you are communicating also use it. Sadly, while WhatsApp is very widely used outside the US, not so much here stateside. So unless you can get a significant portion of your regular contacts to move to one of these platforms, your stuck with predominantly SMS/MMS.

The other problems you're having are not typical behaviors on Android and as you suspect, you probably have a faulty device. I haven't been Samsung's strongest advocate over the past few years ;), but even I can tell you that you should expect a very smooth, quick user experience on their newest devices. If there is a way to swap it out, I'd take advantage of it.

Best of luck.
