Shopping might not be the killer app.
I have experienced that too. Too many treat this stuff like it is like American Politics of late.Interesting on one thread today I was accused of being a pro-Apple stooge, and here some of us are being called anti-Apple trolls.
So the killer app is having your own personal movie theater yet it’s hard to wear for more than an hour?
As an investor, it's not good to blindly go "all in".I'm curious why that's important to you. Will you feel better if the return rate happens to be high?
Let’s just say the AVP form factor has a long way to go if someone like this is going to become a user..
(Please note her stylish Apple Watch however)

Apple has (since day 1 of being in a garage when Steve and Steve were both members of the Homebrew Computer Club) been making people confused over what they do.

I loved going to those meetings at Stanford's SLAC. That's where a lot of small and large computer companies were essentially created.
I must have missed the press release where she said she wouldn’t wear one. If there was no release, just how do you know what someone you more than likely dont know personally would do in private?!
I think people that are confident in themselves just won’t have the issues you infer.

Try out a different light seal. They have amazing impact to comfort.I really like it but I feel like it’s crushing my face no matter what band I use. I really don’t want to return it but wearing it is really uncomfortable for me.
“Gaming” on this thing is a joke without motion controllers. Its a cool product and the demo was amazing. But as a UXUI Designer, it's not helping me. And it's too expensive to play games. Quest 3 would be the better option
I am envious. At the time I was going to graduate school in Houston, and homebrew style meetings were not as enlightened. Some things never change.
I’m wondering if Dan has ever owned or used any other VR headsets. They all seem equally isolating and capable of showing video, and it’s hard to say something is the best without comparing it to others.
We won’t see any hard numbers unless Apple shares them, which is unlikely to happen. But there are certainly a substantial number of return proclamations here in the forums, on Reddit, and on other social media. The polls I’ve seen turn out around 30-40% returning. Those aren’t representative of course, but I think it’s clear that there are significantly more returns than on previous new Apple product introductions.„why we're hearing a lot of return stories.“. Interesting fact, any numbers?
Dan is entitled to his opinion but this is still a niche product with what will be well over a 50% return rate. No updates will make it worth $3500 for most consumers. It’ll be a great paper weight in the next 3-6 months.
Someone actually accused me of trying to push a right-wing agenda, lol. Without going too far off-topic, I’m about as polar opposite as you could get from that statement.I have experienced that too. Too many treat this stuff like it is like American Politics of late.
Ok sure ..
Jen Aniston is going to head out and about with an Apple Scuba Mask on and pinch at stuff in the wind while having brunch in Santa Monica
Sure..
Of course she will
Since there was no "press release" to indicate otherwise, anything is possible 👍
It will usher in a renaissance of short movies. So the killer app is having your own personal movie theater yet it’s hard to wear for more than an hour?
Eating the AVP would make more sense in that situation (and would be more interesting to watch). If this is a flop, I'll eat my iPhone 1.
