ridiculous delay from 7200 rpm HD

You really think it will come by 10:30 for sure friday? Could just be a guess. What if I am home waiting, and they don't come till like 3pm, :(.
 
Update to my update from this morning:

I, too now have a delivery date of this Friday (06/29) by 10:30am. Upon checking the tracking data from FedEx again this evening, it seems it's already arrived at and departed from Anchorage, Alaska this afternoon. It just keeps getting better and better!

How frickin' awesome is this!?!?!?!!

My status got changed to "Prepared for shipping" some time before 7 pm or so. I'm having a huge :apple: gasm.

:) Well I couldn't be happier for you and even though mine continues to say the same ol' thing "Not Yet Shipped", it does give me the tiniest bit of hope that there may be light at the end of the tunnel for me as well. At this rate the new Harry Potter book will be out before my SR MBP arrives. Thanks for letting us know that yours is prepared for shipping. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day for me.
 
Does anyone else have the problem that the longer the wait is, the more accessories they buy? I think I may place an order for a Logitech V270 mouse.
 
My MBP comes Friday morning. :)

But I'm worried that the machine will be defective with the yellowish tint, or it'll only have like an hour of battery life because of the 7200 hard drive.

According to Expedia it's a 15 hour flight from Shanghai to Amsterdam so I assume there should be a status update later today :)

Little question, I live in Belgium. I read that it's a 15 hour flight from Shangai To Amsterdam. And amsterdam is about, euhm 3-4 hours from me. Why the hell I have to wait a whole week :) Sorry no patience any more.

They're just saying 10 days from shipping. I think you'll probably get it before then.

If its a 15 hour flight that means we should see some tracking this afternoon at the earliest.

Mine finally shipped! It just left the warehouse/factory/whatever! Haha! Major nerd and :apple:gasms occuring.
 
I got a TNT tracking number yesterday. The tracking page doesn't show much though.


The apple page shows:

"Current Delivery Status In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule"

The TNT site doesn't offer any more info.

OK, I used a different page and got this:
