Its a new year and it still has not come out. It has been a year since Feral announced that it would bring RTW to mac and it is still not out

If you read the posts between the one you quoted and today you will have seen the reason for the delays (extended approval time) and that we we have an official ship date. The post two above even has an image of the disk before it was sent to mastering. :)

Rest assured the game will ship on the 5th of February 2010.

All I can say is sorry about the delays we tried our hardest and worked weekends but sometimes fate is against you. But we now have full approval and the disk is off into manufacture so unless something happens like the DVD plant explodes we should be good for the February date.

WOOOOOOHOOOOOOO rome being released on the 5th! so god has heard my prayers:D Can't wait to play multiplayer and all of you forum goers look for me on gameranger my name is vent (a little nickname that's based off of my last name) I have an apple store like a mile from my house so I'm getting the game ASAP but feral I hope the game is glitch-free OR ELSE

does this version include the alexander expansion
also will this be only able to be ordered online or will it be at all apple retail stores

Great news, although on looking at your website at the requirements it now says that PPC support will be forthcoming in a patch after release. As someone who has an elderly powerbook G4 I wonder how long this will take, I have pre-ordered and dont want a virtually useless dvd lying about for too long.

I hope PPC support is not something that you will drop!

It's playing in the office on PPC machines. It's just not as stable as the Intel build (yet) so we are working on it aiming for close to a day one patch.

I have just asked to change my shipping address through orders@feral.co.uk, since you managed to release the game precisely at the time of year I go on vacation!
Is that the proper method, or should I use another contact channel?

I realize I can just wait and see if I get a reply from that email, but it can't hurt to ask to our feral members through this thread as well :)
 
Thank you, Feral, for your hard work. (And for choosing RTW over MTW2.) It is going to be worth the wait. I have been glued to your site for 6 months and just found this thread here! I am pre-ordering right now. . .

Yes that is the correct address for orders you should quote your order number as well in the email if you can :)

5 more days. By the way if you guys see a guy named vent on gameranger when you get rome then that's me and please if you're from this forum tell me it'll be nice to know who I'm fighting sort of just don't expect any mercy!
