I actually love the finger print sensor. In fact, I feel like it's better than my iPhone ones at times. The only main issue I have with it is that I sometimes mistakenly press or tap the wrong area and it counts it as a miss, but overall, it’s very good for me.The ONLY thing that buga me about my Note 10 Plus is the fingerprint sensor. It's so BETA. I guess the speakers are a bit crap too but I can live with that. Otherwise my phone is flawless.
I set mine up again after a few months and found it much more responsive. Not sure why that would be but worth a try.The ONLY thing that buga me about my Note 10 Plus is the fingerprint sensor. When I first got the phone I set up both thumbs and three different fingers....but then I realised that the fingerprint sensor was pony.I set mine up again after a few months and found it much more responsive. Not sure why that would be but worth a try.
Is the Sony ultrasonic? Optical ones I've used are far better than the Samsung ultrasonic ones, even if they're less secure. When I first got the phone I set up both thumbs and three different fingers....but then I realised that the fingerprint sensor was pony.
I subsequently registered the same thumb five times and the sensor is better but it's still the most inconsistent sensor I've had on ANY phone. The winner is still the Xperia XZ which worked 100% of the time. Samsung are crap at fingerprint sensors IME and this phone has the worst of the lot.
Nope.Does anyone use chat features on their Note? I've been reading Samsung might be doing away with it. Used it with my brother on his Samsung using 2.0, but now he's got an S20+ with 2.1, it's vanished.

Android version of iMessage using RCS. I was using the Google messages app which I always use on Android. My brother using the default Samsung messaging app and he didn't even know what it was.More bugs to report, the home screen wallpaper orientation is messed up if you go back to portrait home from a landscape app. I though that was fixed with the recent Home app update?? Overall sluggishness too.
What are those?

But I was able to send pics/video etc over data without the need to download anything else.
Got UI 2.1 today and can't say I've noticed any changes. Single take isn't something I'd use, seems pointless to me.
Nothing but butter for me on my Note 10+. An absolute joy to own. For me, easily still the most complete package on the market. I can never do without the security features of secure folder. This feature alone will keep me on a Galaxy device. One UI 2.1 is so easy to use, yet feature packed. Good Lock is a must for any Galaxy user. One Hand Operaton+ just destroys any other manufacturer for gesture navigation. The recent update now allows 3 different locations to swipe on either side of the device. Incredible. I even now use a swipe to lock my screen, especially when it's just laying on my desk. Another awesome feature of One UI 2.1, Lockdown Mode! Love it! Just adds another layer of security I've always been hoping for. I can never go to a device that won't give me this type of security, customization and flexibly. Not a chance. In a world filled with rounded corners, the angular design of the Note line is so welcome. Still think it's the best design on the market. I'm at the point where I'm not sure if I really need to upgrade to anything, I'm that satisfied. If I do upgrade, it'll have to be the Note 20/Ultra or the Fold 2.
Lockdown mode, you mean the one where you bring up the power menu and tap lockdown? I've had that since I first got the phone on Android 9.
Where in settings is it?I recently got my One UI 2.1, and just noticed it when going through the changes. You have to turn it on in the settings. I think they should have it on by default. I've always wanted a quick toggle for changing unlock method to pin, for bedtime, then in the morning, back to fingerprint. The Lockdown option is better than the quick toggle I was hoping for.
An absolute joy to own
