There is an IR blaster on the note 10.

I dunno, I’ve embraced the wireless life with my AirPods. I’ve had AirPods for 2.5 years. However there are times when I want to charge my phone in bed at night and also plug in a pair of headphones. I don’t want to use my AirPods in bed because I’ll probably fall asleep wearing them and they could get lost in the bed.
Same here.....Had no choice but to embrace a wireless setup for sound when Apple did away with the headphone jack. Now it doesn't matter to me that much. There are times when I would like to charge and listen to music but those time are few and far between now.

The note has you covered with wireless charging :)

I'm not a big head set user other than when flying I use my wired bose noise cancelling set so that would still be possible with the dongle

I gave my free buds to my wife so if I get another free set I will use them on occasion when the Mrs has some BBC crud on that she likes lol

Excellent!
I miss my IR blasters.

I love the AirPods in theory but every time I try to use mine they jack up the shriek of my tinnitus. I do well on the Samsung buds, fortunately. I've got some nice older Beats buds but I keep misplacing them, doh! It's like there's a curse on them. They've spent more time misplaced than in my ears!

I'm pretty excited about this phone. I'm not sorry I got the S10+ though. I got some great pictures on it I would have missed, otherwise. It's so nice to be able to take group photos without having to keep backing up trying to fit everyone in.

Does this mean we are going to get the Exynos chip instead? I'll be disappointed if we get the normal snapdragon 855.
I think Evan is hinting that the US is just getting the standard 855 chip and the rest of the world (minus China) are getting the new exynos chip. I think there is some licensing thing that prevents Samsung from using their exynos chips in the US and China?
[doublepost=1564913862][/doublepost]To be fair the note 9, S10+ and note 10+ are all quite appealing to me at the moment for different reasons.

Samsung chat confirming some of the features of the note 10?

With recent news of the new Exynos 9825, and it's new 7nm EUV manufacturing technology, I think I might have to hold and see if it outperforms the Snapdragon 855/855+, whichever one ends up in the Note 10+. I'm specifically thinking the Exynos might be more power efficient because of the EUV process. Since I'll be buying two Note 10+ devices outright, I want to make sure I get the "better" version. I haven't been this impatient for a new device in years. :)

Ugh my husband plans on skipping this. I'm nervous going alone on it.

I'm reluctant to part with Flamingo Pink so I might trade my 3XL. That way if I get a screwy Note I still have my perfect S10+. But then i wouldn't have my Pixel 3XL. Lol crazy me problems. :D

I haven't reserved anything yet.

Cool size comparison between the smaller note 10 nd the note 9. From what I’ve seen, the plus is the same size as the 9 just with a larger screen.

The smaller size might sell better than the note 9. I think the Note size has always been a bit overkill for most people, this might work well, a smaller, more portable note lineup.

And leave the 10+ for more experts and fans of the note.

Hope they remove that glossy black and go matte black. Like the older iphones too...

This looks damn good, might sell the s10e and just keep this once the trade in comes for the note 9.

What's amazing is that even though its si much smaller physically, the screen size is almost the same (6.4" vs 6.3")

Note 10+ looks good but ill stick with my S10 5G as its a perfect phone imo. Could not be happier with it.

What is the battery life like on that one?

Also, I've seen videos where full screening Netflix / Youtube doesn't make it full screen, but the video stops right before it goes over the hole punch? Is that true?

Very disappointed personally about the imminent removal of the 3.5mm jack. Was hoping for this Note to carry it as the last great Note!

Never used the jack on my last two phones but I would rather it was there. It isn't being removed due to space constraints so leave it in.

Well they increased the size of the battery slightly and still have to accommodate the S Pen, so maybe there were some space constraints this time. I’m ok with letting go I guess. Dongles it is. Sigh.
