Thanks for this. So...only IP68 after all. Rumors pegged it at IP69.

Ha, I forgot what size my existing battery is. Ugh my morning coffee has worn off. I've been up since 4 a.m. so I'll have to wait another time to go comparing all the specs I'm interested in.

I'm terrible at figuring this stuff out...so, if they all have the same ppi, what is the advantage of the WQHD+ over the FHD+ screen?

So I just have to decide between the note 10+ and the S10+. I’ll have to wait until the keynote. I’m not happy about the headphone jack being gone on the note 10. There’s lots of times that I need to charge my phone at night and want to use wired headphones in bed. I like having options.
You’re tempted again i see lol....

Is there no sd card slot this year?
The rumor was not one on the Note 10 but yes on the Note 10+ but more recently I heard it's just gone altogether.

I don't care because I am used to phones that don't have it. I'll live. But it's a shame it is likely gone because many people do use it. It has been convenient to have.

I hope the Plus size base model isn't too expensive. I'm glad I listened to my husband after all and got the base model S10+ since I'm trading it back so soon. Of course I have to hear "I told you so." :p

What’s that in GMT?
[doublepost=1565127575][/doublepost]
Might just be the person holding it but my s10 5g doesn’t look that big when holding it
BST means British Standard time so I think it’s 9 pm. That’s what it says on the samsung UK website.

Is it that much bigger than the regular S10+?

Phone looks huge!
If @Oohara wants this I hope he can get one. He’s been wanting a big phablet for years.

It’s a bit big for a phone. I’m carrying an Xr and eventually trading that for an 11r as my phone that’s supposed to be always on me.

I’m getting this as what it is, a phablet. I really loved the Nexus tablet my husband let me borrow years ago. It was an interesting size. Much smaller than an iPad mini but larger than the large iPhones. These large Notes are approaching that size. At least in terms of getting a huge display. I won’t enjoy carrying it but I’ll enjoy using it.

USA pricing leaked?

  • UPDATE: For pricing, you should see the Galaxy Note 10 start at $949 and the Galaxy Note 10+ at $1099. A whole bunch of pre-order deals outside of the trade-in option above should bring that down substantially.

That looks ok with a trade in.

I agree with carrying it and using it I’m definitely looking into the note 10 or the + size. Hoping for a $600 trade in for my X.

Nothing left for surprises and excitement we know everything about this phoneo_O:mad:

Still excited, as I'm not satisfied until all the leak and rumors are confirmed by the official unveiling. I also want to see all the official price and promos. Then there's the hands on videos of the actual device, which is always much better than the pictures in press material. So for me, still lots to be excited about. Just one more day!!!

I'm ok with the 25W charger, but if the 45W charger is in the box, as the latest rumor suggests, it would be a nice surprise. As for a lack of a headphone jack, I'm not too bothered. For those that like to charge while listening to music, the Note10 line will be doing 20W-25W wireless charging. That's faster than the 15W wired charging of the S10+ (not including the 5G.)

Other than the Headphone Jack, the thing that disappoints me most is the 4300mah battery on the +.

With such a monster screen I am worried that the battery will be a step back from the Note 9 or S10+.

Even worse the Note 10+ 5G battery is equal to the standard.

I think the note 10 will start at £899 and the note 10 + will start at £1,000 or £1,050 in the UK.
This is my thought too. I think £900 and £1050.

£900 and £1000 would be better though I think especially from a marketing point.

The Unpacked event does appear to be starting a lot later than usual.

Tom's Guide has a chart and article pitting the rumored Note 10/10+ specs against those of the S10 and S10+. It also mentions what little has been leaked about the 5G version.

It would be cool to get the 5G version as a bit of future proofing. But realistically I won't be seeing 5G in my area for at least another year. Most likely 2 years. And it will be teeth grindingly expensive to get the plan when it does come out on AT&T.

And I'm likely to trade up just for camera upgrades before then anyway, like if they ever put a Huawei type super zoom lens on it. I'm getting the base model specs. On these trades you seem to instantly lose the investment into upgraded specs.

Tom's Guide is still pushing the rumor the Note 10+ will still have an SD card slot.
