Good lord some woman in that audience is really excited about this Note.

I can’t wait to try the zoomed in audio.

Hahahah! You heard her to? She was going ballistic!

Loving the zoomed audio feature, and the new SPen functions are brilliant, they chose a fantastic influencer to showcase that, she was so natural in how she used the SPen with the Camera

I really liked the new AR camera features. Besides that I can't see anything new that justifies the price.

Lol yeah I heard her all right. I know they said this Note can do anything we want for us but jeez lady, get a room!

The Watch looks fantastic and the price is great. But I still have mine and will wait for Generation 3. I’m just wearing my Apple Watch too much right now. However it’s so exciting to see Samsung stepping it up.

I’m having a hard time staying focused on this presentation.

Dex would be great for my 15 year old but her new high school is all in on Apple.

Looks like red and pink wont be available in the USA. If rainbow is available I’ll get that. If not, I hope white is. Maybe blue. Whatever. I find I don’t really care too much. I was super excited about Flamingo Pink on my S10+ and it’s fun but eh, I don’t care too much now for some reason.

Yeah, it’s 22:51 here in Johannesburg, so I keep dozing off every now and then, the AR stuff really dragged.

I am liking the Microsoft Windows integration here, this is what Samsung needed to compete better with Apple’s Handover, hopefully this will get more elegant as the updates come.

Microsoft and Samsung seem to be strengthening their partnership, I said before that this is huge and I am glad they are keeping it going as it could lead to something truly amazing in a few years if they continue like this, they both need each other.

Does this only work with the note 10 and do you need to be running windows 10?

"DeX is getting a big upgrade — and this might be the thing I’m most excited about, strangely enough. If you’re not familiar, DeX is a desktop interface driven directly by a Samsung phone when you plug a monitor into it. New this year: apps for both Mac and Windows. That means you can plug your phone directly into your computer and get a window with all your phone apps in it. You can drag and drop files to and from it, too. DeX was always a sort of silly, aspirational idea that few actually used in the real world, so making it convenient on the laptop I’m already using is potentially really interesting — if it works well, anyway. Unfortunately, Samsung says these apps won’t work with the S10.

Samsung has also built in support for Microsoft’s “Your Phone” feature from Windows 10, letting you toggle it right from the quick settings. There’s a new version of its game optimization software that supposedly uses AI to optimize your phone’s settings to the game you’re playing. (My S10’s game optimization feature wants to crank things to the max when I open up the NYT crosswords app, so this is an overdue change.) The screen recorder lets you annotate videos with the S Pen. There’s a new option for PC gamers to use their Samsung account to stream games from their Windows PC and play them on their Note 10.

EDIT: so instead of just taking over your entire monitor, your DeX session can just be a window / app running on top of your windows / mac machine. The Verge's hands on video shows it briefly, like drag/drop files from computer to dex window, etc.
