EDIT: maybe the $100 credit is a gaming credit? kind of unclear. the * in the screenshot I provided shows this:
"*18+ & 50 US/DC/PR only. From 6/21/19 – 9/30/19 (“Purchase Period”), purchase a Samsung Galaxy S10e, S10, S10, Note9, A6, A10e or A20 on Equipment Installment Plan, JUMP! on Demand, or at full retail price on a T-Mobile plan from a participating T-Mobile retail store, samsung.com, the Shop Samsung App, Costco, Metro by T-Mobile, or a T-Mobile Military store (“Qualifying Purchase”), and receive $100 in gaming credit that may be used in any of the following 3 games in the Galaxy Store: Yahtzee^®^ with Buddies Dice Game; Looney Tunes™ World of Mayhem; or WWE Champions 2019 (est. value $100) (“Gift”). By 10/14/19, using the Shop Samsung App on the Qualifying Purchase device, follow instructions to submit required info (may require receipt). Gift may be allocated across as many of the 3 games as the user chooses, but must be allocated in $5 increments. Allow up to one week for credit to appear in the virtual wallet in-game after verification. If a user changes his/her Google Advertising ID and/or disables the sharing of Google Advertising ID he/she will not be able to redeem any in-game credit. Game credit expires on 12/31/19 if not used after credit allocation via Shop Samsung. Gifts subject to availability & are non-transferrable. Limit 1x $100 Gift per Qualifying Purchase. Subject to additional terms here . Samsung reserves right to modify or discontinue offer at any time."

EDIT 2: maybe it's just that amount of money instantly applied to the phone? not sure

Didn't see anything related about this at the event. Does it come with wireless buds in the box or?

All in all the Note10+ is the one to go for:
it has the 45W Charging (brick sold separately )
It has the MicroSD slot
It has the huge battery
It has the Depth sensors for the camera
And it has the 1440P screen

I am a little disappointed Samsung didn’t take on Huawei on the Zoom levels and Night mode, I get the feeling Huawei once again caught the industry off guard with the P30 Pro as they did with the P20 Pro, so we will see very little competition for the Zoom and Night Mode features for a while.

Other than that, great stuff by Samsung, I won’t be getting it though, waiting for the Mate 30 Pro and keeping my iPhone XS Max as my daily for the foreseeable future..... I thought I would sell it for the Note10, but I just don’t see anything REALLY enticing in the Note10+ that I haven’t seen before.

I stopped watching and went to go checkout MKBHD’s first impressions.

Ugh I have a carrier version. That sucks.

you mean your trade in is a carrier version? that's not what I'm talking about

I'm talking about if you BUY a unlocked Note 10, the trade in value for example, a Note 9 (doesn't matter which carrier version) is $600. If you BUY a T-Mobile branded Note 10, the trade in value for a Note 9 is $300.

bottom line, if you want the max trade in value for your current phone (regardless of branding), get the unlocked (carrier agnostic) Note 10 instead of a carrier branded Note 10

Sorry I mean I need a carrier version. I wonder what I’ll lose going Unlocked. I can give up WiFi calling and visual voicemail but I do want timely security updates.

ah, I understand now. You're on AT&T, right? I know in the past, AT&T wouldn't let these unlocked variants have VoLTE or WiFi calling but maybe it's changed? someone on here may chime in if they've had those experiences on the S10, etc.

No VoLTE or Wifi calling, and security updates suck on unlocked version in US. I did just get July though on S10+, was May previously.

Ordering direct from Samsung....with a trade in and I get $600 off! WOW....

Still have to decide between this and the S10+. I’m confused lol

I was expecting the price to be around $1500 for N10+ but it will be $1700... still worth it though if i used it for 5 years or more

Are you still getting the free headphone?

I just saw the $50 credit for the unlocked model.
All in all........with a trade in....the unlocked Note 10+ will be under $600

Unlocked? I’m tempted to order unlocked but don’t want to wait for ages for updates. AT&T has been good about getting them to me on time. Well more or less.

Well this is interesting. On my Samsung phone via my Samsung app, it’s not letting me do a damned thing because it says I made a reservation (for no specific model or color) yesterday and will have to wait for tomorrow.

But on my iPhone or via the web browser I can reserve a model and color. Pfft.

Samsung did well with the pricing in the UK. £899 for the note 10 (256GB) and £999 for the 256GB note 10+.
[doublepost=1565215288][/doublepost]Any mention of the IR blaster?

Okay I reserved a Aura Silvery Rainbow Note 10+ AT&T model. I wish I could go unlocked and get the blue and get more of a discount. I got my reservation email and it doesn’t say anything at all about the model I reserved. It just says I am first in line. I bet they say that to all the girls. And boys.

I’m still not completely sure about that color. I just chose it because I already have a two white phones and I’ve had more black phones than I can remember. Blue wasn’t available. And pink and red won’t be available for awhile. If ever.

I’ve never had a silver irrid uh irridice uh rainbow phone before. Looks like Mylar.

Eleven hundred bucks for the 256gb 4g unlocked rainbow... Ugh. o_O Tough call. I bet the pixel 4 XL is going to be close to that...

Didn't even bother looking at 5g, I think it's a moot point right now especially when devices can barely work in some areas as it is, but that's another thread :)

The price is not as horrible as I thought, but SD card slot gone? Headphone jack gone? Value software I can't get rid of. Granted this doesn't make the device unusable, it's just personal preference.

I don't know. My s7e is very long in the tooth and could use an upgrade...
