Not yet. I’m too indecisive lol

I was not happy that we didn’t get split screen apps in iOS 13. iPadOS is good but iOS 13 doesn’t really do anything for the iPhone.

Having said all of that I’m feeling lazy to change my set up and I know 2 phones don’t work for me.
Two features i miss from my S10 plus and thats spilt screen and picture in picture...i use YouTube a lot and i know one a 6.8 inch screen it would be rather awesome.

I know talking with EE that with my discount with my monthly tariff i could get the note 10 plus and the active 2 for the price of my max tariff...i imagine prices for the iPhone 11 max or pro whatever it’s called will be similar to the 90 a month i pay now...

Could get the note 10 plus and pay around 67 a month which is a decent amount cheaper for what you get. Dunno i have to wait til 20th September as my upfront cost is free then so by then the new iPhone will be out by then so will weigh up the options.

iPhone tariff on EE are shocking! Considering similar price for the Samsung flagships and iPhones, they’re milking the iPhone popularity on the difference in monthly costs between Samsung and apple

for the £90 month EE want, I’d rather pay Apple on the upgrade program and go sim only with EE

It’s always higher on EE but i don’t want to pay 90 pounds a month for a phone...after looking at their 30GB of data tariff on the note 10 plus on 4G i can get it for 55.20 a month. So a 35 a month saving from my max...very tempting given the great features of the phone i must admit.

I’m considering the exact same deal!

actually 02 seem to be the most expensive it’s just they now do 36 month contracts which makes the monthly figure look lower!

There aren’t any note 10’s on display in my town centre. Really wanted to have a look.

Issue is colours shame white isn’t available in Uk..black seems only option as don’t like the glow one at all

Yeah I would have wanted the white one too. I'm also miffed about it not being compatible with the gear VR. I want to get some use out of it.
I can't believe the white one is unavailable in the UK. Absolutely ridiculous. Samsung is not good at managing allocation. They are stingy with color offerings and tend to get backordered. My husband ended up waiting for over two months for his Note 9 that he ended up cancelling the order entirely and investing in the XS Max instead. I'd dropped off the backorder list, too. It was incredibly unprofessional for them to keep us waiting that long. We had even gone through the reservation system, if I remember correctly.

There are some people on Android Central who have pre ordered but are seeing September delivery dates. I love a comment someone made about Samsung being the company where you can pre-order a back order. So true.

I did the reservation system for my pre order and still only one of the four cases I ordered will be arriving with my phone. The rest are back ordered for me and completely unavailable to order for newcomers.

I knew from all the prior years it was going to be this way, which is why I divorced myself from any particular color preference. I chose Aura Glow for the silver edges and blue S Pen, but I'd have been fine getting black or white or blue. I favored the pink, but not enough to concern myself that it was unavailable for the US. It's going into a deep blue case and occasionally the silver rugged case.

By the way, I hope your son is feeling much better. He's been in my thoughts, too.

It’s funny because while I’m not going to get this phone (or any Samsungs), I’m actually feeling a bit bad for it because from the “reviews” I’ve seem, they seem to be almost too harsh and almost unfair. It looks like a really great device. It’s not for me specifically but still not going to entirely knock it. That Aura Glow color alone is mouth watering and I hope Apple can figure out a way to make something similar.

Anyway, good luck to those who order it.

I could not find any in my local Curry's yet! I think they'll have them nationwide next week or just before release.

No rush for the UK as there's no incentive to pre order!

I got a Note9 512GB (I really like the massive storage space and store lots of movies, TV shows, etc on my phone) last year and was considering upgrading it to a Note10, but I can't see any reason to do so:

To get the same storage size I'd have to go for the 5G Note10+ which carries a £100 premium over the 4G model for no benefit to me (5G coverage is unlikely to improve much where I live in the next 12-24 months)

On top of that, it has a cut-out for camera (I much prefer bezels to cut-outs / notches / holes, etc) and loses the headphone jack (which is useful when flying as bluetooth is switched off in Airplane mode) and VR compatibility for the dubious additions of a motion sensing s-pen and 3D scanner

I was a bit undecided anyway as my Note9 is still a beast and works really well but I watched the launch event which left me feeling distinctly underwhelmed and time hasn't improved that feeling - it really is a "meh" release for me!

I'll see what Apple come out with in September but I strongly suspect I'll be keeping my Note9 and iPhone SE for at least another year...

Completely agree with the price issue here. In the US and other markets, the 10 gets 256/512gb as an option without 5G. Here in the UK you have to get 5G, then upgrade that. So it's effectively £200 increase instead of £100.

You then also lose out on things like Dual Sim functionality, as I have read the 5G models don't have that.

It's irritating that the networks and now Samsung are pushing 5G so hard. It's just unnecessary at this point.

We also still haven't had confirmation if say the 5G model will drain battery any differently to the 4G if used solely on the 4G network?

Thanks Grumpymom and Everyone.

Yes he’s feeling a lot better. He’s got viral gastroenteritis and he had low sodium levels so had to be given salts but he’s a lot better now. His fever has subsided and he’s getting back to his usual self.

I know. There’s zilch. Even carphone warehouse are offering more for trade in than Samsung. We are only a week away from launch now.

The colour options are so disappointing. The aura seems to be polarising as some are saying it’s hideous and others are saying it’s nice. However if it’s looks like the back of a CD then it’s a absolute no from me. I wish white was available. Black is kind of boring.

You can buy the 5G model but only pay 4G contracts

Note color comparison. Man that Aura Glow is bright and reflective for sure!
I think someone on here said it was like a cd in how it reflects colors. That was pretty accurate!

Their trade in deals are ridiculously good. My S8 will get me $250 or my Pixel is $200 credit towards the Note 10. I got a chance to check it out at Best Buy and it's gorgeous. The only thing is the standard non plus doesn't have a micro SD slot, bleh :(.

The lighting in that video made the colors look a bit milky and dull compared to what I saw under Best Buy lighting and compared to other photos and videos I saw for the pink.

By the way, Aura Blue in person was stunning. Lol, i have a Matchbox Mustang car that's very similar blue so I was quite taken with the Aura Blue. Unfortunately I could only have gotten it unlocked. And really I'm not sure I don't still prefer the silver edges, which will end up being what I see the most with the cases I selected.

Aura blue has wonderful edge color. They've got it perfectly matching the whole phone. I just like the silver a tiny bit more.

Eh, not sure about the rainbow silver body. I would not say it's hideous. The rainbow flashes are pretty. I just think it kind of screams "carnival" and that can be a problem for a lot of people who need to take their phones into business environments that call for more dignified looks.

I will find the silver mirror finish useful for video selfies as I said previously. But I intend to keep it covered most of the time. I do appreciate the fact I've never had a phone quite this for before. My S7 Edge was plain silver.

The Aura glow seems to be really popular

My top two colours (white and pink) are trailing in last place. I obviously have no taste :D
