I ordered blue 10 Plus. Couldn’t decide between blue, white, and Aura Glow but the glow was out of stock when I pre-ordered Saturday so it made the decision easier. My husband ordered the Glow on Friday and said he won’t switch with me:eek:. I couldn’t resist getting a good trade-in on my Note 8 plus missing Samsung/Android so I will switch back from XR for awhile. Hoping they release a new Galaxy Watch with the Active 2 specs soon though bc I’ll miss my Apple Watch 4.
[doublepost=1565813007][/doublepost]We’ve decided to only buy unlocked phones from now on so that we can switch phones and carriers whenever we wish.
[doublepost=1565813181][/doublepost]If I’d ever been able to see the white in person, I probably would have gone with it. Can’t tell from pix if it’s flat white or has some iridescence or glow to it. I really wanted the iridescent white S10+ on release but I love and have missed the S Pen.

The very very best AD that will make S fans jelous haha :)

I am sure Shamghaichic will change her mind now :)

Please watch this video on youtube app
Nice video. If the regular Note10 had QHD+ screen, ToF sensor, and both models had headphone jack I'd be pretty sold. But I'd literally rather have the headphone jack since I use it that much.

I'm probably sitting this iteration out (again), but I'm curious about what people will think of it once it's in your hands :)

I checked out the 10+ today. It was lagging. I wasn’t surprised at all. Samsung makes attractive hardware but that’s about it.

I got a Note9 512GB (I really like the massive storage space and store lots of movies, TV shows, etc on my phone) last year and was considering upgrading it to a Note10, but I can't see any reason to do so:

To get the same storage size I'd have to go for the 5G Note10+ which carries a £100 premium over the 4G model for no benefit to me (5G coverage is unlikely to improve much where I live in the next 12-24 months)

On top of that, it has a cut-out for camera (I much prefer bezels to cut-outs / notches / holes, etc) and loses the headphone jack (which is useful when flying as bluetooth is switched off in Airplane mode) and VR compatibility for the dubious additions of a motion sensing s-pen and 3D scanner

I was a bit undecided anyway as my Note9 is still a beast and works really well but I watched the launch event which left me feeling distinctly underwhelmed and time hasn't improved that feeling - it really is a "meh" release for me!

I'll see what Apple come out with in September but I strongly suspect I'll be keeping my Note9 and iPhone SE for at least another year...

Completely agree with the price issue here. In the US and other markets, the 10 gets 256/512gb as an option without 5G. Here in the UK you have to get 5G, then upgrade that. So it's effectively £200 increase instead of £100.

You then also lose out on things like Dual Sim functionality, as I have read the 5G models don't have that.

It's irritating that the networks and now Samsung are pushing 5G so hard. It's just unnecessary at this point.

We also still haven't had confirmation if say the 5G model will drain battery any differently to the 4G if used solely on the 4G network?

You guys just seem to want to come up with some scenario as a downer :)

Lucky you get the offer of 5G many places don't and 5G dual sim is not available anywhere and previously was not in UK normally only hybrid

Worried about a 100UKP delta find a retailer offering a trade in on some old phone, Argos ?

Colours, so you have limited choice but this is a preference even though we had black, white and bobby dazzler in KL I would of preferred Blue. Skin it case it etc most of us do.

Bluetooth does work in air plane mode as too WiFi you just have to toggle them back on manually

Note 9 although on Pie did not get all the updates the S10 got let alone what the Note 10 gets excluding the hardware updates on the note 10 over the note 9 re CPU/Camera/Ram/Video/S Pen/Dex/W10 etc etc

Only want a bezel and not the dot, toggle that option on that came with the S10's

Sure if you don't want to upgrade to the 10 that's fine but some of these excuses are pretty thin IMO :)

You are wrong. The N10+ is the regular note because that's how the specs suppose to be comparing to any s10+. The smaller note is new arrival just assume it doesn't exist and you're done.

As for the HP jack it means nothing to me cause i hardly use it but everyone is different.
Stainless steel and glass lol...

It's aluminium .

S10+ is stainless steel but for a phone aluminium is better because its a lot lighter that's why N10+ feels light despite its massive size.

Let me guess, in a store with demo software and probably hadnt been restarted in weeks. Not a typical setup and not typical use. Any demo model will lag. There is additional bloatware installed specifically for those devices and they ALWAYS cause issues.

The OnePlus demos never lag nor do the iPhone demos.

Again, that's because they may not use as much bloatware on their demo as Samsung. But if you compare any demo phone with their retail counterpart, the retail version will always be faster. Especially when you have no idea how long the demo device has been running, what's installed, etc.

Sorry IT IS NOT Stainless steel.

Let's be honest now, the iphone xs max feels like a complete brick. Considering the size of the Note 10 Plus, going aluminum is the better choice for weight savings. Don't get me wrong, I don't want a super light phone, but I also don't want a 200+ gram brick. Then there's the stainless steel being easily prone to scuffs and scratches. Of course a case will take care of that, or spending extra money on polish and buffing out the scuffs and scratches like you do a car. But dang, who's got time for that? lol. So it's not like stainless steel is the only premium choice.

Well, I was at the MS store tonight and went ahead and pre-ordered the 10+ in white. MS is offering 650 instant trade in as opposed to the 600 samsung is offering, and I can get it at 9:00 on the 22nd if I choose to. I also still get the 150 in things from Samsung. Not bad overall.

I really don't think it is, but I agree about the weight, though I wouldn't mind either way.
