Looks like some people on Sprint over at AC are saying they are getting shipping notices for delivery on Monday?

I’m glad it’s not me. I’m not in town yet. I need it to be delivered the day they promised and not a day before or after because I’ll be stuck trying to dodge back to school meetings and events.

There’s this one mandatory orientation I have to attend. I thought I already attended one but that apparently was something else.

I did my time 35 years ago. Leave me the hell alone. Instead I’m fielding emails daily and watching my calendar fill up. I am more sick of school than the kids are.

Was able to spend a few minutes handling the Notes at Best Buy last night. They felt very much like what I’d expect a Note update to feel like. Consequently, nothing has changed in my feelings toward Samsung phones--they're just not for me.

It’s obviously a well made piece of hardware but I still don’t like curved display edges or the way the side edges feel in the hand. I’m also not a fan of One UI’s design—still looks big and ‘cartoony’. That being said, loved the Aura blue color and the Aura glow, while still not my style, is much less gaudy in person. The ‘back of a CD’ description really is spot on.

Hope it’s everything new Note owners want in their device. Just not my cup of tea.

Yes, but it has sideeffects - colors aint accurate and some others
Oh well at least that option is there for people who need it. Just not on Samsung. Fortunately as far as I can tell I’ll be okay with the Note 10+ display. Gosh I hope that never changes.

Samsung tweaked some things on the S10 display beyond what was done for the S9 displays and I thought I was going to have to abstain from Samsung upgrades.

I checked out the 10+ today. It was lagging. I wasn’t surprised at all. Samsung makes attractive hardware but that’s about it.

Let me guess, in a store with demo software and probably hadnt been restarted in weeks. Not a typical setup and not typical use. Any demo model will lag. There is additional bloatware installed specifically for those devices and they ALWAYS cause issues.

This is just click bait and not worthy of your time :)

I thought it was an amazing phone. The screen really impressed me. It's thin, light, and very well designed. I liked the Note 10 much better than the plus. Did not see anything toyish, cartoonish, or juvenile about it at all. On the other hand, the S10 looks pretty much like an iPhone with the chrome bezels. It really just comes down to the OS. Everyone is different. Choose your poison, the notch or the wrapped edges.

Another camera comparison

Is there anyway to get google photos to sort your pictures into albums without doing it manually?

Nope lol

Hell on my iPhone on google photos I have updated an album that isn’t even there on my tab S4...so much for linking up on all platforms

Considering the XS Max has a slight edge in certain shots vs Note 10, IMO, means the new iPhone is going to blow away Samsung. I guess we will see in about a month. I may be switching back when the new iPhone "Pro" is released. We shall see.

Well rumours are expected major improvements camera wise and some that are suppose to be ahead of the comp plus a new night sight mode that does it automatically

I think pro will be for photography I’m guessing

It depends on what camera improvements the new iPhone has. We know they are going to add a wide angle lens but we don’t know what else they are doing to the camera a

I don't know but I think the same thing is gradually happening to my Pixel 2 display. I don't see it on your screen shot but I don't think a screen shot can capture what's going on. I'm guessing all but the red sub pixels are gradually failing for some reason. I never really found out what caused "pink tint" issues in the first place, but my observations lead me to believe it is present from the beginning and perhaps so subtle you miss it. But it seems to spread.

I'm sorry this is happening to you.

The display on my s10+ is not crisp white like the one on my 3XL. It has either a blue cast or a pinkish warm cast depending on angle. Despite both being made by Samsung there are differences.
