I can get the Note 10 or Note 10+ with 10% off.. I need to order today to get it on release day.. here in the UK!

I'm confused which one.. any suggestions?

I’d hold on because their estimated deliveries always vary. I went ahead and preordered finally and I have a shipment delivery estimate if 9/10. Haha. But that will at least give me time to change my mind.
I’m mad because after I preordered and picked a bunch of cases just because that’s basically all they offered at the time for the $150 credit, I saw people being able to preorder the new charger and I also saw other things I decided I’d like better. But I didn’t cancel my preorder all this time and start over because I didn’t want to go into September delivery dates.

I really just have the most awful luck with getting my delivery dates pushed further and further back. Note 9 was pushed well over a month. My husband kept his for two months. Seriously he preordered in August. I saw my date slipping so I canceled so he could get his bumped up on the queue. (Samsung processes only one sale with a trade per household at a time). Even with his status changing his estimated delivery date kept slipping well past the Apple iPhone event. Past the Apple preorders. Hell, iPhones were shipping when my husband finally gave up and canceled his Note 9 preorder.

I waited over a month for my own S10+ a few months ago.

I have to hope it’s a glitch in the system. That’s the only thing that makes sense. I’m watching other people’s listed order times and it just doesn’t compute that my delivery date got smacked back like this.

IF this is legit and they really think I’m okay with September 4th they can bite me.

I’ll be cheering for you to get it early!!!

Thanks. Some people are getting them on the 21st which is early. I’d settle for right on time on the 23rd.

I have US Cellular and they don’t even have the IMEI’s set up for the Unlocked models until 3-4 days after release. Haha. So I’m just gonna chill until I get it. I would hope they’re simply under promising right now.

If I were buying, Plus all the way. Go big or go home! Any chance that 10% off is with a new Very account?
Yes Very.co.uk but not for new account.. it was a birthday code.. hehe!

I have actually just ordered the normal Note 10 as the Note9 I have had in the past year has felt a little too big at times..

Worst case I can return and get the Note 10+!

Delivery on Friday.. went for the Aura Glow! :)

No one said an iPhone is cheaper.

I said its funny how you threw the term "value" out there and the phone is $1100 and does not offer any significant advantages or upgrades to phones that cost half that price let alone missing key features of some of these cheaper phones.

People mention Dex and the SPen where 90% of users wont ever use these features and is not a major selling point for the device to the masses.

Dont kid yourself on this fake "value" as you call it when your Samsung device depreciates faster then a new car driving off a lot and is 50% of its worth less then 3 months down the road.

Let alone their lackluster service, their phones barely make it 2 OS updates, and their ridiculous updates controlled by major carriers.

Dont take it so personal, they are just phones. :)
I think you find it was your comment that added the term "Value" and you made it personal to yourself by not appreciating the advantages that others may see  or get globally or offset sticker price depreciation that wrongly depicts ownership costs

Of course it's only a phone  and to me its only $1000 but others circumstances may be different and appreciating that than just than just click bait rhetoric replies is likely to be far more constructive and of assistance to others

I think its clear to all what you wish to bring to this topic

I wonder if it was your accessories choices that's dragging your delivery date back ?

I noticed here in KL that other than the sparkly led back case no others were offered at time of ordering and are always in short supply initially

I had wondered that, but all of my cases except for the one wallet case were always set for September delivery dates. It would be crazy of them to hold back delivery of the whole phone for one case, but I suppose it’s possible.

Some of the people on Android Central said it may be possible to pre-sign for the delivery. I may do that in case it arrives when I’m out picking up kids. I finally get them into a school that has buses but the bus service stops well away from our street.

If you spent £1,100 on the Note 10+ 5G and kept it for 2 years, that's less than £11 a week for something you'll use for what, 4 hours a day minimum? To me that seems value for money.

I wouldn't spend £40+ on a night out drinking because for me personally, that's a waste. But if others like to do that and find it worthwhile, who am I to tell them otherwise?

Everyone has different needs, wants, tastes, likes etc. I've no doubt everyone who's bought one is going to love it.

So from the center punch hole, to the SPen, ports, mics, and speakers all being in alignment, it would be safe to say, symmetry was the name in this design.

So forgive me for not noticing this... where is the actual earpiece? Is there a sliver of one at the top of the screen? The note manual supposedly says that hole on the top is a speaker....

Right above the punch hole, in that very small 1.5mm top bezel. Very nicely hidden.

Not sure if this was directed at me but I'll add my two pence.

Value of the phone was not the deciding factor it was the footprint for me. Note9 (although one of the best phones in my phone history) has been a pain at times due to its sheer size. So I have had to compromise with the normal Note 10 between losing some specs and handling the actual phone.

Also the 5G versions were never an option with their limited modem (X50 I believe). Therefore all current 5G phones including the Note 10 5G are not future proof for all the available 5G frequencies here in the UK, thus are not worth the investment at this stage.

People have been talking about the value of a phone. So no, it wasn't directed at you.

If anyone haven't pre-ordered the phone yet, there are 10% referral code to sweeten the deal. Seems like Samsung started a referral program to boost sales.

PM ;)

Hehe. Koolio. I'll retract my comments. :)
Nevertheless, my 5G comment is still very valid especially for those who believe they will be able to use their current gen "5G" phones to properly benefit from the upcoming 5G network or even easily switch between networks.

It’s just so weird. When I had the S10 the FPS was absolutely flawless.

That's great for you, for me it is not like that. It's 2 steps forward, 3 steps back.

I actually think it'll be faster than an hour. I'm thinking about 40-45min at the most. I only say this because there are a few videos on YouTube showing the Note 10+ fully charged in 1hr5min at the most, with the stock 25W charger.

It wouldn't surprise me if the 25/45 both hit 100% around the same time, as towards the end the chargers slow down the charge speeds.

It's more the 0-50% and 0-75% that will be different, which it seems to be!

footprint is the reason I’ve gone back to a s10 plus. I had the s10 5g and was considering the note 10+ but the size gets a bit frustrating at times for myself
