Did you get the S10+ earlier this year?Yep
I am debating whether to get the Note 10+ and sell my iPhone XS Max or stick with the XS.
I kinda prefer the Samsung features but the Apple Music is hard to lose as it runs horribly on Android.

Yep but I gave it away to my sister who needed a new phone ASAP.Did you get the S10+ earlier this year?
My note 10+ isn’t coming until Tuesday but I’ve been using Apple Music on my iPhone for about 18 months now.Yep but I gave it away to my sister who needed a new phone ASAP.
Do you use Apple Music on the Note 10+?
Oh did you buy your Note outright? My note 10+ isn’t coming until Tuesday but I’ve been using Apple Music on my iPhone for about 18 months now.
What do you find terrible about Spotify music management?Oh did you buy your Note outright?
On your Note do you use Spotify? I actually prefer the Note in terms of features but I the Spotify music management is terrible and I listen to music a lot.

The new update
It is just liked songs and albums. It doesn't give you the option of an artists section and all the songs in alphabetical order but a particular artist.
Also liked sons are not in alphabetical order and the albums section doesn't shew all your songs...just only entire albums you have liked or am I doing something wrong?
So if you don't have any albums saved you will just have to keep manually going to the artist and listen to the album right?Go to library and you have an Artists section. For Spotify, it’s actually been easier to click on the artist and then just choose an album to listen to.
And don’t have any albums saved. That just complicates it.
How do you find Apple Music on the Note 10? Is it still clunky and laggy? If one has a huge library of albums, Spotify isn’t great for that. That’s why I use both. Plus, Apple Music is nice in that you can upload albums and they appear in your library.
Great example is that Biffy Clyro’s Infinity Land album isn’t available on streaming services, but I have it in my Apple Music library. Plus, I have a lot of U2 love bootlegs saved too.
On Android, when selecting an Artist from Library, all your saved albums are listed with tracks for each albumThe new update

Yes I bought the unlocked version. Well I tend to listen to my own library of music more than streaming on my phone. I use the streaming services for my smart speakers mostly. All my music is already uploaded to google play music but there is a third party app that I use on android called player pro to manage my own music library.Oh did you buy your Note outright?

Does the Note 10 come with a screen protector? So far I really like all of the cases I got for the Note 10+ . My favorite of my two folio style cases is the blue LED Wallet case, but I gave it to my husband because he was not able to order any blue cases as they were sold out when he pre ordered. I have the other blue folio case with the plastic strip, View Cover I think it's called. It's very similar, so I handed over the LED wallet case. My husband is getting a black View Cover, and he also prefers the LED Wallet case, which is why I passed him my favorite.
The Samsung blue silicone case I also got is gorgeous but it lets every bit of dust and lint stick to it. But I like it for light use around the house. I don't feel it's particularly protective but my s10+ has done well in a similar case.
My favorite is the rugged case in grey. It has two kickstands perfect for landscape and portrait mode viewing. I would use it all the time except I need extra protection for the display when I carry the phone in my purse.
I didn't like any of my Samsung cases for the S10+. My view cover case for my S10+ would cause my phone to inexplicably overheat so I could not use it. I got it for free otherwise I would have rattled Samsung's cage about that. I spent almost nothing for cases for my S10+ and ended up using a clear case from Ringke for it. Most recently I put the S10+ in a matching Flamingo pink silicone case just so I get to use it before I send the S10+ in for trade.
Fare thee well, Flamingo Pink S10+. I am going to miss it less than I thought I would. Mostly because the Note 10+ is everything it is and more. But also as soon as I ordered that phone, a loved one died and I lost more since. Just like I have happy associations with my Pixel 2 that meant I couldn't bring myself to trade it in, I have painful associations that make it easy to trade the S10+ in. So yeah...buh bye. It's a great phone though. I will miss the cute color and the 3.5 mm jack, for sure. And that's about it.
But you know when you go to Artists is not in alphabetical orderOn Android, when selecting an Artist from Library, all your saved albums are listed with tracks for each album
To access other unsaved music, just tap menu icon in top right of screen (3 dots) and select Go To Artist. Then all the Albums, EPs Singles are available. Makes sense that "Your Library" only includes music you have specifically saved.
Thanks for the tip on quickstar, I also use one handed + from the galaxy store to add side gestures. I have it set up where a swipe from the left edge is back to mirror my iphone, but also have a long swipe from the right edge set to enable split screen , much faster for multi-screen setup. So for anyone that doesn't like the status bar always just sitting there on every screen, you can install Good Lock, and use Quickstar to get rid of the whole status bar. I myself prefer the look of a full display without that status bar being there. My notifications are perfectly viewable on pull down or lockscreen. No need for a status bar. Also, to complete the full immersive experience, do yourself a favor and hide the navigation bar as well. This also means hide the gesture hints, it's not like you can't remember 3 spots. Lol.
So far, I am loving this phone. I'm completely used to the button placements and gestures. I adapt to change very easily. The Buds are amazing and to my ears, they sound amazing. Totally worth it's retail price. I can't imagine anyone ever picking Airpods over these, for sound quality. The look and feel of this phone is second to none. The complete lack of bezel and square design, just gives it the cleanest modern minimalistic look of any phone out there. Very professional, and very premium. This design language becomes even more important when you put on a case, as a case always adds a little bulk. Between the two Spigen cases I bought, the case I'd recommend as a daily driver, Spigen Rugged Armour. It gives the most protection for the least amount of added bulk. It's all black, with faux carbon fibre patches on top and bottom. You also get a nice hit of the Aura Glow through the camera cutout. Very nice. I will also be ordering the ESR metal kickstand clear case. It's not perfectly flat, but I like that the kickstand can hold the phone in landscape and portrait mode. It's also a very sturdy kickstand, and being a clear case, it shows off the Aura Glow nicely. I don't expect any phone to be perfect, but for now, I honestly have no complaints.

Love this phone too, though I wish I could combine it with my S10e. If the Note 10 had a flat display, headphone jack, sd card reader, (plus 120hz 1440p display) it would be the perfect phone.
The One UI is also awesome, I think at this point I prefer it over stock android thanks to all the extra features, for the first time I find myself using mostly Samsung stock apps rather than using the Google alternatives from the playstore. Samsung sure has come a long way from the ugly, laggy, gimmicky touchwiz of years past. I just hope they release a fix quickly for the battery drain problem on at&t.
Edit: I can't find the option to disable the status bar. Can you help me?
Aww, gotcha. I thought you meant it would completely get rid of the status bar and apps would stretch up filling the top void. Would love to have something like that.I also use One Handed Operation+ add-on for Good Lock. The more options for gestures the better. I only use the left side edge with max transparency. I use left swipe for back, left swipe and hold for previous app, swipe diagonal down for notification panel, diagonal down and hold for quick panel, then just for good measure, diagonal up for recent key. Gesture overload for some, but I find it extremely intuitive. So to answer your question, here's how I got rid of the status bar. When in Quickstar...
From ther screenshot below:
In option 1 uncheck everything
In option 2 Hide the clock
Done.

Artists are in alphabetical order in Android. But you know when you go to Artists is not in alphabetical order
is there a way to change this?
That explains a lotArtists are in alphabetical order in Android.
Albums are displayed in alphabetical order but sorted alphanetically by Artist first.
So when i select Albums after Library, the first albums I see are those by a Swedish prog band called Anekdoten - with those albums in alphabetical order. Seems a perfectly logic l way to sort them to me.
If I want to play the album "A Plague of Lighthouse keepers", I have already mentally linked it as a Van Der Graaf Generator album, so it will be nearly bottom of the Album list.
Are you using Spotify on Android or iOS?

No I got it from carphone warehouse. Yes there are no deals at all. I guess I’d i had the patience to wait a few months there would be price drops and deals. However for now there’s nothing. That explains a lot
I am using my iPhone XS Max I think the IOS version of Spotify is different to the Samsung Version.
What headphones do you use with your Note 10?
