That explains a lot
I am using my iPhone XS Max I think the IOS version of Spotify is different to the Samsung Version.

What headphones do you use with your Note 10?
I Havnt had a Samsung phone since the S2. I have Huawei P20 Pro. Much to my chagrin, no headphone socket. it was the best phone deal after my Lenovo P2 screen got cracked. I have Senheisser Momentum for home and Senheisser 2.3 0G for gym . The USB C adapter irked me so I looked at various BT options but was reluctant to buy a disposable set of phones (battery life). I got a Fiio BT headphone amp which is a reasonably high quality small clip on BT adapter perfect for good quality headphones.

I really like the stock Samsung apps on this phone. The only issue I'm having is sending gif's with the stock messenger. I use SwiftKey, but when you attach a gif with SwiftKey in the stock messaging app it sends a link instead of showing the image.

I came to the Note 10 from the iPhone XR and it has been a pleasure to use so far.

So we all cracked then lol
I returned the s10 plus and thought I’ll stay with my iPhone. Been less than 4 days and I’m not happy with my phone again! I return to the iPhone more due to comfort as I’m so used to iOS rather than anything. Each time hoping they’ll change something to shake it up, but nothing happens! I know plenty of people are happy with their iPhone, my wife would use nothing else but Samsung has killed it this year.

I’m in the uk and everybody I know uses WhatsApp so iMessage is irrelevant and I sold my Apple Watch several months back so I’m not locked into anything ecosystem wise.

Just need to decide if I’m buying outright or via Samsung upgrade program

Well you can either use one of the trade in sites like mazuma or O2 recycle or trade into a shop like Carphone Warehouse or CeX.

You’ll get a better price at one of the recycling sites or Carphone Warehouse.

64gb or 256gb?
64gb XS Max

But I have hardly used it (about a 2 months) since I was using the S10 Plus which I only recently gave to my sister so back with the XS Max again.

Is AV forums safe because would hate to be scammed?

A reputable website called Goodbuy tech offers £620 for the XS Max 64gb

You set the price, people can make offers and you choose to accept or not. I always make sure I'm paid by bank transfer for high value items.

The one big but is, it's not you that should be worried about being scammed. It's long standing members with lots of feedback parting with hundreds of pounds to a new member and trusting you'll post it. In this situation, they'll expect you to post first and payment on receipt of it. Or you can meet and exchange in person.

I've sold every smartphone I've had in the last 9 years on there with zero issues.

I see

I don't trust sending the items first without no payment. I know I am a new seller so they will not trust me, but I just can't take that risk. I hope someone will trust me in paying me before I send by post/

Worth at lest trying to see if you can find someone close to sell to and meet up.

So for anyone that doesn't like the status bar always just sitting there on every screen, you can install Good Lock, and use Quickstar to get rid of the whole status bar. I myself prefer the look of a full display without that status bar being there. My notifications are perfectly viewable on pull down or lockscreen. No need for a status bar. Also, to complete the full immersive experience, do yourself a favor and hide the navigation bar as well. This also means hide the gesture hints, it's not like you can't remember 3 spots. Lol.
So far, I am loving this phone. I'm completely used to the button placements and gestures. I adapt to change very easily. The Buds are amazing and to my ears, they sound amazing. Totally worth it's retail price. I can't imagine anyone ever picking Airpods over these, for sound quality. The look and feel of this phone is second to none. The complete lack of bezel and square design, just gives it the cleanest modern minimalistic look of any phone out there. Very professional, and very premium. This design language becomes even more important when you put on a case, as a case always adds a little bulk. Between the two Spigen cases I bought, the case I'd recommend as a daily driver, Spigen Rugged Armour. It gives the most protection for the least amount of added bulk. It's all black, with faux carbon fibre patches on top and bottom. You also get a nice hit of the Aura Glow through the camera cutout. Very nice. I will also be ordering the ESR metal kickstand clear case. It's not perfectly flat, but I like that the kickstand can hold the phone in landscape and portrait mode. It's also a very sturdy kickstand, and being a clear case, it shows off the Aura Glow nicely. I don't expect any phone to be perfect, but for now, I honestly have no complaints.
I have a minimalist home page as I am a an edge panel user, so no app icons and gesture controls. I tried eliminating status bar or just parts of it on my S10+ but found it annoying especially not having the clock as daft as it sounds

Getting goodlock to work when not in US is a pain finding all the APK's and using VPN etc to get it installed.

I noticed the APK's were not transferred over from my S10+ with smart switch but goodlock and nicecatch were installed but not functioning due to not being in US

Maybe I will have a play again

For cases I really like the Samsung LED case with its extra functions on the cover which is a bit more silky finish this year and the smart view looks improved and maybe not so easily scratched

No I got it from carphone warehouse. Yes there are no deals at all. I guess I’d i had the patience to wait a few months there would be price drops and deals. However for now there’s nothing.

Yes it comes with one like the S10+ did.

I got a Hub too the other week in UK and I picked up a ring doorbell but it does not play well with the Hub
