I have ordered n9 512gb to be delivered next week

Think Samsung is really pushing this version. Got it at just 50% of the price of IPhone X 256gb on the same mobile subscription plan (about US$35 per month). No freebies except for $30 assessory voucher.
WTH are these US (I presume) prices?? The iPhone X is about to be updated and you got the new N9 for half the price??
My 64GB N8 was $127 up front and then $63 per month over 24 months.

I'm in Asia. Pre order promo, you get 512gb version at the price of 128gb. Phone about US$400 with a US$35 per month phone plan over 2 years.

I love that the Note 9 have the bigger battery. However, I won't be switching as the note 8 is still awesome currently and will be waiting on the Note 10.
I wonder how many hours can it gets?

Already PC Mag tested it with full brightness and video playing for 12 hours.

T Mobile is offering the Note 9 at $500 off if you trade in. Lot's of restrictions.

"For a limited time, when you buy a new Samsung Galaxy Note9 on an equipment installment plan (EIP) and trade in an eligible Samsung device, you can get up to $500 off in bill credits applied in 24 monthly installments".

Actually will be waiting for the S10 Plus...first time in a while when I felt the Note series is a S9 plus with a S-Pen...awesome phone nonetheless.....and I’m a Sammy fanboy.

Anybody know the return policy for T-Mobile? I've been considering a switch to them, and would also like to see what it's like on the Android side since I haven't tried it in years and the Note is the only phone that interests me. Their website looks like 30 days however that sounds a bit too good to be true (isn't is usually 14 days for wireless industry?).

I believe it's 14 days, and possibly, a restocking fee.

I think it's 14 days if you buy in the store and IIRC, the restocking fee is $50. If you buy from customer care (611) or T-Force (twitter customer service), I believe you get 20 days and no restocking fee. Don't quote me on that but that's what I recall lately.

Sold my Note 8 in June to get as much from iot as possible and went back to iPhone X. Was completely ready to skip the Note 9. Then I watched MKBHD's preview and realized how much the phone ticked almost all the boxes for me. Battery was my biggest complaint and then next in line was the updates. I do prefer stock android look and feel so I used a different launcher. I might have to get over those. I'm trying to ask myself if the Note 9, Pixel 3 XL, and iPhone XL were all available at the same time, which way would I lean.

That's a hard decision! :)

I'm not interested in the Note 9, but noticed that CPW are offering £200 extra trade in on certain devices against it.

My Pixel XL, which I got brand new only a few weeks ago for £290, is now worth £370 trade in!
I was half tempted for a minute just because you rarely make money on used phones these days!

Alas, no.

Broke down and ordered the 512 gb version. Justifing it because Samsung has a promo for a $100 trade in cracked screen s7 edge, been trying to get rid of mine for a while.

You know how I justified it to myself? There is no way, and I mean NO EFFIN' WAY an 8gb RAM/512gb storage Note can exist and I opt for the Note that ISN'T that one.

Can't. Nope. NO way.

I was able to checkout the Note 9 at BestBuy today. Very nice phone...of course its almost indistinguishable from the Note 8. The blue is a LOT darker than the S9 blue for what it's worth. I like the darker blue better myself.

I think you’ve got mixed up. I’ve just been through the process and a Pixel XL is worth £170 trade in. It doesn’t mean they add £200 on top of that. A Pixel 2XL is quoted as £350. No way they’re going to turn that into £550.

I don't think I am mistaken.
The offer is £200 on top of normal trade in towards this device. (Note 9).
So as per screen shot my phone is now worth up to £370. The 'upto' will be subject to condition as I know from working for CPW that they are very strict on trade ins and the slightest mark normally sees the value plummet.

Like I say, nice offer but no interest in the Note 9.

Fair play. I can't get it to show in red with the extra £200. Only in green with the base amount. Tried all variations of the Note 9.
[doublepost=1534370048][/doublepost]After the 5th time of trying, it now shows £550. It’s tempting at that price.

Yup it's certainly tempting.
£550 means it'll be about £300 cash for a Note 9 which you really can't grumble at!

A little more as I’d want the 512gb! An extra 2gb ram would surely help prevent slowdowns over the next year. And all my pics & music on the device would be sweet.
