"Try actually using your device for lots of emails, text messages, many phone calls, and several hours of youtube. That is all I did on mine."

so you mean like this youtube video below? lol. emails, messaging, youtube where it got destroyed by the note? ouch. stuck your foot in your own mouth eh?

I already did in a previous post.

Again, you can continue to spew your FUD, but I owned both devices and saw what I saw. You have not. And this test below is real world usage not some internet video you continue to spam. We can keep going back and forth with this link to this video, this benchmark all day, but it will never end. So I am done with someone that can't open up their eyes.

Here is another screenshot of the drain while asleep. Sure doesn't seem like it's draining much?

Lol, I can already see how this is going to end. He is going to say YouTube and games is also "lite usage", once you post more evidence he will just say he is done and dip from the thread.

lol, "reading a book", I have now read it all at MacRumours.

im just curious how you know this is "real world usage"? what apps were used? i mean least the video i posted, you actually saw the apps used.

also based on that graph, are you seriously saying that the iphone 8 plus has the best battery life out of all the phones??;)

you're done b/c you keep coming back to this graph over and over b/c its all you have. i posted my very own usage. where is yours? show me what "heavy usage" looks like.

Here is a far more thoroughly done and comprehensive battery comparison. Looking at 3 key areas of usage, Note9 did very well.

Both of the phones we're arguing about are so good you won't have to worry about charging it during the day unless it's literally your only computer.

I have the Note 9 and have the Max, the Max has better battery life.

LOL

We've already proven that you have no clue how to even use Android. 30% drain overnight? Lol. Stick with the iPhone and it's dumbed down ios. It is definitely for you.

BTW still waiting to see what heavy usage in your iPhone looks like. Can't just take a screenshot and post eh? Gotta wait for a good day or something?

Just going to say one more thing about this video which is being discussed on Facebook groups. Copy and paste

“If you watched the video you’ll see the Samsung Note 9 resolution is in 1080p vs the iPhone XS Max 1242p. If you watch Mr.whosetheboss video he does a battery comparison with the resolution of Samsung Note 9 at its max resolution and the Note 9 battery dies a lot quicker than the iPhone XS and XS Max. This article doesn’t tell you about that nor does it tell you about the resolution of the Note 9 being at 1080p”

Laugh. You have to know how to use android to prevent battery drain. Isn’t that amazing. But the iPhone does it for you.

I told you and I’ll repeat it. I will do one once I go back to work which is the real usage my phone gets.

Again you only read what you want.

you mean the video where the note has a cellular connection and the iphone doesn't? i mean if you want to treat all the phones as ipods then this is the result. seems like another 25+% win for the note.

yeah ios doesnt let you run things in the background. wow what an amazing feature! if you want to dumb down the note you can also turn off background activity. if the iphone allowed background activity it'd probably lose by 80% lol

With this video and the one by phonebuff, it proved that Note9 beat XS Max (by a huge margin) when tested in airplane mode as well as when cellular is connected. These 2 videos are fair in the testing by making sure all the settings are the same for the 2 phones. (unlike those other videos which intentionally or not skewed the results towards XS Max)

Another few videos where the tests are conducted fairly and comparable.

Using Geekbench Battery test (video at 4.00) shows the Note9 beat XS Max too.

This is another test that make sure all the settings are equal.

So, I'm on the September patch and didn't get the camera thing. I'm also using the unlocked one. Any way to force the updates?

That chart does not relate well to actual everyday use. Just look at the numerous reviews on Youtube from all the most popular youtubers stating the Note 9 battery life is much better than the iPhone XS Max for example. Just stop being bias and admit the Note 9 battery life is better.

Hahaha did you not even watch that last video? The guy admitted that he forgot to turn the note 9 screen on to it’s highest resolution during the most important tests that use that resolution like YouTube.

I’m done.

Nope. Look in the mirror. You guys are the biased ones. Laugh. Even on the fb groups people admit this site has too many biased people and appreciates real owners life experiences instead of all this bogus videos. Have a good night.

I trust the word of multiple reputable Tech reviewers on Youtube over some random person on a forum. I'm sorry but you are just being bias, have a good day!

Another test where the Note 9 crushes the iphone Xs Max. You have been given multiple pieces of evidence that the Note 9 battery life is simply better. Just give up my friend ;)

I’m done. You are so biased it’s embarrassing for you.

You are embarassing yourself. :p Go look at the video properly. At the half way mark he turned the Note9 resolution higher to the WQHD+ and you know what, Note 9 increased its lead over the XS Max. It just showed that higher resolution doesnt impact battery that much. All the sub-pixels of the Note 9 screen have to be lit up whether it is set at lower or higher resolution. The only impact is on CPU. At higher resolution CPU has to render more pixels separately rather than rendering multiple pixels in a group.

.

But the note literally INCREASED its lead after the resolution change so.....

Why are you so upset that the iPhone got beat badly? Apple doesn't care about being the longest lasting phone.they do just enough to not get laughed at while being able to charge 1500 bucks.

If you are upset at how badly the note beat it, you might be crying when the mate 20 pro comes out soon :D

Having to teach someone while their arguments are baseless must get tiring for you man.

Let's not even get on to the fact that iPhones continue to Charge the slowest once they have quickly drained.

And like I said, what he had running after he turned it on doesn't require that high of a resolution. He never actually tested it.

Aren't most threads ruined by certain 3 android users not naming any names.....

What did you just said? When Note9 already set to high resolution...doesnt require high resolution? Are you serious? Does that mean that XS Max also ran in low resolution? We know ios can only play video in 1080p.

fyi: that video comparison, only 4 out 9.5 hours was run in FHD for Note9. How come Max cannot narrow the gap even after Note 9 resolution was turned to WQHD+?
