Another test with the new Pixel 3 XL, and with the Note 9 at the correct resolution. Max wins. Waiting for more excuses from the FUD.

Again, the Note 9 will have cellular without a SIM unless its put in airplane mode. There is no way around that.
Then put it in airplane mode so that they are all ipods. Duh? Or would that somehow be unfair to the iPhone since it lost so badly?
There are more tests out there of it winning than losing. I also owned both and can tell the Max out lasts the Note 9 by a lot. Many on FB group also agree. Only here is where people will argue and not believe people who have owned both.
i like how i literally show you screen shots of how unfair your test is and then show you proof of how badly the iphone is beat when under fair conditions and you turn to facebook groups as your proof. oh boy.....
but sure you win. the iphone has a great battery when you treat it as an ipod. wow. 1500 well spent!
You can show me 100s of tests, doesn't mean I will believe you especially after your history here. I own both and know for a fact the iPhone out lasts the N9 by a lot. I trust real owners opinions.

Yep, and some of mine I posted were real, but you still had some argument at them too. Laugh.
I won't be surprised that mrwhotheboss dude is unfair in other ways as well. His video came out soon after phonebuff and he specifically emphasized putting note9 to wqhd+
He could have put note9 to "gaming/power" mode since he fast forwarded when set up the phones. Or he could put brightness on auto mode which the note9 screen brightness can go way higher.
yeah they were real biased lol. i took screenshots to show you the no sim on the iphones. this is a test of PHONES right? why the hell would ANYONE test the phone with no sim card?? or not even test the phone function of the PHONE?
do you have any videos of both phones on sim and testing actually phone functions? oh right, i got one for you!
Already posted them, but like usual, you come up with some excuse every time. I am sure there will be more tests now that the Pixel is out.
he had to keep restarting the gaming test b/c ALL the iphones kept dimming the displays. he even says so.....

Can you imagine a Flat-Earther showing you all their "evidence" of the world being flat? The world IS definitely round. I often have vertigo. I wouldn’t always be so dizzy if everything were nice and flat and not spinning.
Now moving right along...how’s everyone Notes holding up? I’m still considering this one for an upgrade a few months from now. A lot depends on what happens with the S10.
I am NOT going to look at all those silly videos. I just want to know if Samsung addressed all the reported issues (not that I heard that many) and if there has been any lag or other sounds of alarm and distress amongst the owners.

I've had few issues, the only major one that comes to mind is being on the September patch.

No major issues. No lag at all even after weeks of uptime (considering I have over 350+ apps/games and 500+ themes/lwp/iconpack). But I do make sure all those apps that don't need to run in background are put to "Always Sleeping Apps"
Only issue I have is the Samsung keyboard which forced close sometimes when trying to re-correct a previous typing mistakes.
Also, I saw like in half of the tests the Iphone brightness was set to 3/4 only not the full brightness like the other phones.
Discussion is useful and exactly what the forum is for. Bickering however just wastes everybody's time. That's what this thread was turning into and I assume that's what Lobwedgephil's comment was meant to point out. Hint: lines like "you come up with some excuse every time" start appearing, i.e. the talking isn't about the subject matter but about the other person. At that point is really is better to simply agree to disagree.

There seems to be other aggressive battery throttling going on in iOS 12.0 such as preferring 2.4GHz WIFI instead of faster more battery demanding 5GHz that's been fixed in iOS 12.0.1 so it needs to be retested if battery life got worse.
