man you are just like a pitbull with a bone.....we get it...you don't like the Note 9...you are only here to post something negative to rile everyone up...

So what is your favorite phone? iPhones......
Just go to the iPhone thread and see all the people reporting problems....
So in fact go to any phone thread and you will see a ton of problems being reported....get it?
So move along buddy...nothing here for you to troll anymore....

Lol, ever get a piece of gum on your shoe that just won't seem to cleanly scrape off, and then you wonder, where the heck did it even come from to begin with? To be 100% clear, I'm not referring to anyone in this thread, but just sayin'.

Yeah the last few pages of this thread have made for pretty crap reading.

Maybe a vs thread would help?
Is that even an option?

As for the Note 9, I'm loving mine, I get great battery life, I take great photos, speakers sound great, screen looks amazing, nearly a terabyte of storage.
Life is peachy.

The Mate 20 pro is the only other phone I'd want right now, even with its horrible notch and proprietary sd slot.

As a big Samsung critic all these years, I finally have to admit that Samsung has made a true flagship device that is great in almost every aspect. I see that some are being vocal critics of camera, but I hardly ever use camera at all, so I won't even say a word about it.

But what I will mention is speed and how fluid this phone feels. It's been really great so far, no lags and no stutters at all. Every year everyone is raving on about how samsung finally made their software work like it's supposed to. And every year I wasn't happy with their software. Last device that I've tried was Note 8, and imho, it wasn't even near to some mid range chineese phones. Of course, I'm just talking about the speed of the device, not displays, storage, build quality, etc.

But note 9 is great in almost every aspect. Is it as fast as OP6 for example? Nope, it's not. But it doesn't have to be. Note 9 can't hold 20 apps/games in memory, but I don't really need that many apps in memory. Only thing I don't like about this device is it's 'fast' charging. When compared to OP dash charge, or Huawei fast charging, it's not even close. Samsung is lagging behind on competition with charging technology, and they need to wake up. Fast!

But the battery is ok, I can get a day out of it without any issues, so I just charge it overnight.

Those small issues are easily forgotten because of the S-Pen and great software that samsung has built around it. In the past I was even called a samsung hater on this forum, and I never understood why... I simply pointed out that such an expensive device shouldn't be so slow. And it was slow.

But I also said that if Samsung ever fixes their software, I will be all over Note lineup. Well, currently I'm still using my Note 9. And I really have no reason at all to change it. This one is a keeper, and I give it 8.5/10. If it had fast charging that charges like OP/Huawei phones, it would be easily 9.5. For those 0.5 remaining, they would have to remove all of the bloatware straight out of the box (stuff like facebook app, etc.).

This is simply a great phone. I really look forward seeing what they will do with the Note 10 :)

Apparently, graphene battery tech is making it's way to the Note 10, pinch of salt and all that but it sounds cool.

You don't like me posting facts on a public forum? Get use to it and stop complaining. Just stating the patch didn't fix the problem. I never said it was my favorite phone or I wouldn't have bought the Note 9.

Just order the black unlocked model from Samsung.com. I really hope it has a uniform screen and back camera that is straight

The screen is a piece of art on the Note 9. It was one thing I really loved about it. Except I still do hate the curves.

The camera was good when it worked. I tried to do recordings at a concert and with the bug it has, it kept locking up. That pretty much made my decision to get rid of it as well as the poor battery life. Some may get good battery life, but some also do not. So I was not alone on that.

You mean like others here saying not possible to get bad battery life? Come on man. Be real.
So you're supposed to get a pass? You found yourself in this thread, intentionally trashing this phone, and you're supposed to get a pass?

And for the record, I am the one being real. I've said multiple times, to you, that both phones are great in their own rights.

I only replied to certain individuals trashing the Max. I never once started the trashing in this thread other that stating the issues I had with my own Note 9 which those individuals did not like.

I was one of the first people here to get the Note 9, even before you.

And here you go again derailing the thread.

Just as i predicted you can't let it go. The only person derailing this thread is you, it was going great before you started posting in here.

There’s only one problem I have with the Note 9, and it’s one that most people don’t care about. Everything else is pretty great.

These aren’t facts. These are your experiences. There are plenty of people put there with good battery life and no issues with their camera. How would you know if the patch fixed it because you don’t have your note 9 anymore.

The iPhone Xs isn’t without its issues. People are still complaining about connectivity problems and beauty gate and they haven’t been fixed yet. I personally am not having these issues but you’re acting like the Xs is perfect.

Best Buy is running a promo of $300 off the Note 9 with an added line. My wife and I are adding a line for our youngest and he is getting my wifes old iPhone 6s. This puts our 3 kids, wife, both sets of parents and all of our friends on the iPhone.....except for me (currently have S6 Edge).

I had the Xs, but I returned it to wait for the Xr because of the price. I was set on the Xr, but this promo makes the Note 9 the same price as the Xr. This makes my decision a bit more difficult. I've been on Android since 2011 and was planning on a jump to the Apple world with the Xr and the Apple Watch, and also to put me on iMessage with all the other people in my life.....but I don't know what to do now.

Since the rest of your family is on iMessage....the Xr might be a better fit for you and your circumstances. But you could not go wrong with the Note 9...it is a beast of a phone!

Use the Note 9 for work and get the iPhone XR for personal use. This really is the only answer.

Yes they are facts. Did you ignore the link of the camera issues are still happening even after the update on the Samsung Community with 100s of users.

Look at one of my previous posts and keep up with the Samsung Community to see when and if it’s fixed. It is still a problem even after this update.

I'm on October....
He, like myself, has the unlocked version. I'm pretty sure the unlocked updates are typically behind the carrier versions, and I believe the explanation for that is that testing must be done for each network with the unlocked versions. Again, not positive that information is 100% correct though.
[doublepost=1540946328][/doublepost]
so note 9 users how you liking yours? still as good as when you got it?
Right now, I've got both the Note 9 and XS Max. I've been using the Note around the house more than the Max, and using my Max as my daily phone. The Note is so much more enjoyable of an experience for me, still as good as day one and I'd prefer to use it as my daily phone, but that Apple Watch.....

Mine is unlocked but I'm in New Zealand, don't know if that makes a difference.

It's as good for me but other phones seem alluring.
Probably because they are newer.
