My note 10 takes great shot of the kids moving, in good light.
Once the light is compromised the blur is present.
To be fair I did get some good pictures of my kids last year when I had the note 10+.

I’m warming to the idea of picking up the note 20 Ultra. I was trying to break the habit this year of buying a Samsung phone and not keeping it. I was trying not to buy one. However I do have a Samsung flagship every year and it’s been a year since the note 10+....

I will if you do, haha! I say that because we’re always faced with this dilemma every time.

I can’t stand my s20ultra camera if you take a pic of a sky then sure it’s great or landscape. But how many of them do you take......

as mentioned above for people pets and moving shots it sucks. Let’s hope it’s fixed. I fell into Samsung’s marketing big time with that s20ultra lol 108 megapixel and all that bells n whistles. When it’s all useless.
Speaking strictly for myself, since I don't have kids. I take some occasional photos of my dogs, but 90% of my photos are from motorcycle travels etc. They are primarily landscapes, stills, travel photos.

From what I have seen there are some clear improvements from the s20 ultra. I’m sure they aren’t on final software yet either but will see...

wonder if 8k is improved somewhat.

If updates is gonna wreck and affect picture quality then nothing is guaranteed. I can't believe my favourite phone is doing this to me. Even new pictures i took today they really look awful and pinkish.

I am done with Samsung . I will keep my N10+ but iphone is my next phone, good luck guys.

You have been a pretty stalwart Samsung fan—don’t recall anyone else singing their praises more than you this year.

What happened? What did I miss?

Is there anyway of rolling back to a previous version of the software?

Ok. I have a question guys. I’ve been watching some videos about the note 20 ultra. It was taking about the pro video mode and how you can control the mic source. In the video it said that the galaxy buds live could be used as the audio source. How would this work and what would be the point?

Maybe so you can choose to narrate a video? That's my only guess. So like if you are zooming in but you would rather the camera hear your voice if that makes sense.

Mr tbayrgs

Where does it say a Samsung fan is not allowed to report a major fault of his/her phone? That's exactly what i am doing. I support Samsung when they do things right and critisize them when they stuff up. No one like me bashed and criticized Samsung s20 ultra for its long, narrow and ugly shape.

After 12 months my Note10+ screen is bleeding and i have pink tints all over my screen affecting pictures and the camera itsef. I can tolerate minor physical defects and other but screen discolouration is A BIG NO NO for me.

The phone cost me $1700 in Australia for that to happen its totally unacceptable so what do you expect me to say Mr tbayrgs? What is the point of forum then if this things are not reported ?!?!?

Those who liked tbayrg's comment ...well what can i say its your shot but not so smart.

Yui4 & Michael9891 thanks for the heads up ?? and tips will certainly consider what you said.

That does suck for sure. Hopefully Samsung takes care of it for you.

Woah, slow down bud, why so defensive? I wasn’t criticizing you but genuinely curious what happened. I hadn’t seen any other posts or comments from you prior to this last one where you expressed your exasperation with Samsung and wondered what caused the change of heart.

In a separate note (sorry, no pun intended ?), I mentioned briefly that I was giving the Galaxy Buds Live a test drive. Don’t think an entire new thread is warranted and as they were launched simultaneously with the Note phones, figured I’d share a quick update on my experience with the ‘Beans.’

Well, processed my Amazon return today. They are quite good but just didn’t offer me any better value over my AirPods Pro. If I didn’t live mostly in the Apple ecosystem and was using a Samsung phone, I’d likely choose them over anything else.

The Good:
  • Very comfortable and pretty secure fit. Probably wouldn’t work out using them but otherwise could wear them for long stretches of time with no issue.
  • Good battery life comparable to AirPods though not as good as previous Galaxy Buds
  • Super small case—smallest I’ve used yet but still carries a days worth of charge
The Just OK:
  • Sound quality is fair. AirPods Pro sound better, like due to the sealed in-ear tips vs. open style of Buds Live
  • Mic quality appears to be just OK. I had a few people say it sounded less clear and more synthetic than using phone mic or my AirPods Pro. Considering the mics are basically recessed in your ear, this wasn’t surprising.
The Not So Good:
  • Touch controls are inconsistent and/or too easy to accidentally trigger. The Buds are really just a smooth bean in your ear with no tactile cues so you’re either guessing wear to touch or accidentally triggering something while fiddling with them
  • Don’t switch between devices consistently. I paired them to my iPhone, iPad, Mac and Pixel 4 XL. Sometimes it would take repeated attempts to connect or I’d have to actively first disconnect from the previous device before they’d connect to another one. Also, they rely on BT LE to connect to the Galaxy Buds app on the iPhone, iPad or Pixel and many times they wouldn’t re-establish that connection so I couldn’t manage their settings. I’m guessing this is less of an issue on Samsung devices but it was annoying when trying to use with my collection of devices.
  • The ANC is generally not that effective. I could barely discern the difference when it was activated. Not sure why Samsung choose to try to add it to an open design because it really doesn’t do much at all.
All that being said, they are probably the overall best value at their price point. They’re better than regular AirPods in every aspect except the benefits afforded to Apple users because of the H1 chip. They’re smaller than anything else I’ve tried, are quite comfortable and sound decent, with good battery life. But for me, the extra benefits afforded by the AirPods Pro are worth the extra $80.

Not being defensive at all just clearing up things that's all.

Ok that's fine if you go to Note10's thread you will know why.

Gotcha, haven’t been in that thread in a while.
