Yeah will see if there is any difference..likey nothing noticeable
Several updates later and it's still rebooting. Now done a factory restore and a full reflash using ODIN. Have now spoken to Support who want to repair my phone, which is fine, but the process can take up to 5 days and I've got to sort my own temp phone out, which is very frustrating

I have a US Note 20 5G (non Ultra) with screen burn in issues. It looks like there’s a faint pattern in the center of the screen. Anyone have issues with this model?

Had this issue with my Note10+ after exactly 12 months of use.
It happened straight after the update.

Did they replace the screen?

Oh yeah they did but i still think the defect is somewhere. It happened straight after the update so its likely software issue. Really hate it when a major updates interferes with the colour tone and balance ruining the screen.

After a good service from Samsung i changed my mind and decided to stay otherwise iphone 12 was top of my list to buy next month.
I'll say this. Samsung customer service can be like talking to a brick wall, but they're also pretty good at actually helping the customers as well as giving free money. My new TV agrees.

Anybody planning on trading their Exynos Note 20 Ultra's in next year for either the S21 or the Note 21?

Apparently a leaked benchmark is out showing the new midrange 5nm Exynos 1080 soc being quicker than the current Snapdragon 865+.

The flagship Exynos 2100 that will be used in the S21 & Note 21 is apparently quicker than the Snapdragon 875, as it now uses the same cores from ARM that Qualcomm uses & tweaked by Samsung.

If this being the case the current Exynos 990 will be left for dead come next year, compared to both the midrange 1080 & top tier 2100.

Nope.

100% happy with my Note 20 Ultra performance and battery wise. It does all I need and then some.

Left for the dead? You make it sound like current phones using Exynos will be rendered obselete and useless.

Reading things like this, along with the usual "blown out of the water", "this new chip smokes everything else" always make me laugh. When in reality, it never does.

Isn’t that chip intended solely for China I read in an article?

Nice. We barely get a poke in the eye for free from Samsung in the UK!

wow, great freebie. Here in the UK we get very little freebies from any company! Seems like you got a great deal.
Yep crazy this is on top of the bundled Buds live, UV sterilizer, charging dock that came with the Note

The sound bar was not free with my Note 20U that came free with a new monitor I bought :) but the TV was an added bonus to the Note

That is a great deal, you must be really pleased with that! The most we got in the UK were a free pair of the Galaxy Buds Live (I believe).

How are you finding the Note 20 Ultra, enjoying it? Another of my friends recently jumped over from iPhone and says he is really enjoying using a Note (compared to his XS Max).

The Note 20U is just our spare phone my daily is the Fold 2 :) and the Mrs uses a Flip

But the Note range has been a good platform for the last 3-4 years IMO
