That must be only in the UK huh?

I’m not sure if it’s just limited to the UK, all I did was add the Note 20 Ultra and the buds live to my basket and then typed in the SAMSUNGWEEK code and it took the price down. Those blue buds Live are a Europe exculsive tho.

I guess it depends , every user is different from another but for me i think its worth it.

Specifically the camera compared to the Note 10+. I got a lot of blurry pics on the 10+ but that issue went away for the most part in the 20. I went back to iPhone but regret not having the Note 20 Ultra about 20 times per day. lol

I’m specifically talking about when taking pics of my kids. In the Note 10, I had tons of issues. They resolved it for the most part in the 20, which is a great leap for Samsung.

lol I actually don’t have one anymore because stupid Apple ecosystem.

I totally feel you're pain on that. I have been mulling over the latest Samsung offer for the Note 20, but the Apple ecosystem has me asking myself questions like "what about you're Apple Music subscription, what about all the movies and TV shows you have brought over the years, what about this and what about that" Apple really do tie you into their ecosystem, it's a brilliant business model.

For me the iPhone 12 is just not enough, the design is that of the 5 (yes a lot of people like it but I think it's going backwards). The camera on the 12 Pro looks really good, but for the everyday user it's not going to be used that much or for major photography.

Yet the Note 20 Ultra has a great design that puts the notch (I don't have an issue with the notch) to shame.

Spot on! In my experience, the Note 20 Ultra is better than the iPhone 11 Pro Max (probably the 12 too) in almost every single way with the exception of maybe video, but even there, the Note has features like portrait video, which is actually very cool.

But same with you. I have the same issues every time I switch and it’s awful. I really want to break away from Apple completely but it’s such a difficult process.

And I currently have an iPhone 12 being delivered next week to literally zero excitement.

If the Note is better in every way to you and you've bought a phone you're not even looking forward to, why do it?

In 2020, "the ecosystem" seems like a lame excuse.

Ecosystem is a real thing no matter what. But yeah I’m heavily thinking about just refusing the package and reevaluating.

I can’t really comment on the Movies & TV Shows you paid for over the years with iTunes. But as far as Apple Music, I use it daily under Samsung... perfectly fine. I would say... Apple is doing great with updates. I received a 3.4.0 update a few days ago. Even though I have Youtube Premium and able to use YT Music, I prefer Apple Music app on Android.. from a layout aspect, it’s better.

Only negative aspect with using Android among Apple devices.. is photo/file transfers, right now.. I’m getting by using Google Drive to transfer between Fold2 and iPad/iMac. But I’ll love to have a more integrated approach.

Yea that's the issue, I have a lot of Apple devices and so buying an Android device, I know that the iPad Pro and Mac's won't play nice with it. It's so nice being able to take a picture on the iPhone and have it on my Mac, iPad Pro and even Apple Watch.

Same situation. The design of the N20U is futuristic - it pushes the envelope and the Fold even more so. Apple have become lazy, recycling designs because they can.

What makes it an easy decision for me is here in the UK we get the crappy Exynos and until that’s address or the Exynos is equal to the SD then it’s a pass, reluctantly.

Yes I could import, but I’d lose warranty, Samsung Pay and more importantly VoLTE.

I’m still tempted with the Fold because it addresses those points however, I’m not sure about the Fold as a daily driver but at a good price, I wouldn’t mind trying it.

I take it you are not happy with the Exynos, I think here in the U.K they have added the base storage of 256GB to try and make up for it. Are you not even tempted by the discount Samsung are offering with Samsung Week? (which is this week only I believe).

Not going to lie, I'm very tempted to order one and try it within the 30 day window. If I don't like it I can return (I don't really like doing this because it's not nice to return something that they then can't sell on as new).

But then I remember that I'm heavy in the Apple ecosystem and how much hassle there might be.

It’s a negative.. but it’s minor negative, you know. You‘re right. It’s a convenient when you take a picture on the iPhone and eventually it goes to your Apple devices, without you having to do anything.

But for me, it takes only takes a few quick steps to transfer files/photos. It’s not as annoying as it sounds, but it’s not as convenient under the Apple ecosystem. I even like how Samsung updated Home Up from Good Lock to customize the Share Sheet to remove unnecessary options. My process is quite efficient.

It's not so much the performance, I don't really game. It's the heat and battery issues. A 20% battery hit over the SD is a matter of reaching late into the day... or not - it's that on the go battery endurance.

Go ahead and try one while the deals are on, it still is an incredible devic - you'll have a 30 day no question return period. You'll be amazed, even the auto changing wallpapers and video lock screens are impressive.

I love the battery life on my iPhone 11 Pro Max, I’m guessing the Ultra doesn’t get anywhere near that? For example it’s 3:12pm here in the U.K. and I’ve still got 77% battery life.
