At this point I don’t really know, yesterday and today are the days where I have exclusively used my Note 20 Ultra. I really like it, however at this point I can’t remove the iPhone fully simply because of my Apple Watch for when I go running.

the only thing that worries me at this point is that the battery on my Note 20 Ultra, is at 48% after I took it off charge at 6:45am this morning. I’m hoping it will last the rest of the day.
Battery life was my only major issue with note ultra. Exynos does drain worse than snapdragon for me.

Apple watch was a deal breaker for me and why I will be getting pro max as my daily.

The battery should settle after a week of learning your usage patterns.

The only thing I miss from my 11 pro max is battery life. It lasts me easily all day. The note 20 ultra exynos needs a top up if it is to last all day.

Besides that, the only reason I ever go back to using my iPhone is familiarity. For me, there is nothing that beats using a Samsung flagship. There are features I use, like split screen and pop up view notifications that I struggle without now if I go back to the iPhone.

Hopefully the chip is improved for the UK models next year because if the battery can rival the SD note 20 ultra from this year, then I'm all in for good

I dislike Itunes alot but I want to try out the Note 20 but too cheap to buy a phone.

I'm not too happy with the multitasking and itunes is crap.

I'm on prepaid, where can I try out a phone for a few days and hand it back? Does samsung.com take 100% returns?

Pixel 5 after recently selling my 12 month old Note 10+. Never been keen on buying same models consecutively because they're too similar.

Yeah, I had the Note10+ and why when the 20 Ultra came along.. I wasn’t all too excited about it. But that’s interesting going from the Note10+ to Pixel 5. I would think performances of both would be similar, no? Only reason why I’m on the Fold2, I wanted something different.

I went from the Note to the Pixel for a change and I love the Pixel camera above any other. And while I'm happy with it, it doesn't stop me looking at various devices wondering if I'd prefer one over the other. And I saw a pic of the white Note which put it in my head, along with talk of it on here.

Plus it's November when I usually spend on av gear. But my list of wants is endless....

So my battery died last night before it was even bedtime, on the plus side it charged quick. It's a shame that the Exynos has less battery life than the Snapdragon.

I hope this doesn't continue, especially since my 1 years old 11 Pro Max can easily last a day! I shall keep an eye on it and if it does continue I will return the Note 20 Ultra, battery life is very important as normally I would be out the house for long periods of time.

For all Note 20 Ultra 5G owners. So I just did a side by side of my N205G Vs the iPhone 12 Pro and the 12 Pro has a much MUCH brighter display.

Both at max. How is this possible ?

I received an update two days ago, the battery life seems to have improved for me.

I was averaging 3 hours previously.

According to my battery usage it was 4 hours 47 minutes on screen time. That doesn't seem very good at all, not when i can use my iPhone 11 Pro Max, most of the day and still have around 60% left at bed time.

Edit: My Note 20 Ultra has only been off charge for just over an hour and im already down to 91% having only listened to some music via the Buds Live and browsed the web.

About the Buds Live, i much prefer Airpods Pro. The Buds Live hurt my ears after even 15 minutes. The noise cancelling doesnt seem to be as good either.

I wouldn't expect it to change much for the better tbh based on my time with the note 20 ultra

If that ends up being the case, i will have to send it back. I rely on great battery life to get me through the day. My 11 Pro Max has brilliant battery life

Really it comes down to how happy you are with the phone, which is obviously down to the individual. There is always an opportunity to top up the charge, whether in work, in the car, etc but i do understand because its very disappointing for a phone that isn't particularly cheap to buy!

That's a bummer, mine has definitely improved.
I'm thankfully nto the realm of not caring if I can get six hours of screen time.
I don't usually have that amount of time to waste looking at my phone.

Here's mine prior to the update...

Screen brilliant (like the curve)
S-Pen great little feature
Camera is good but I do think the iPhone takes more realistic photos
Much prefer Face ID over the in screen Touch ID
Battery life so far seems poor (at least for me)

If the battery life doesn't improve over time (maybe it needs time to settle in) I will return it, for a device that costs as much as it did (even on offer) and the times we are now living in 2020, every smartphone should easily last a day.

What time are you needing to charge back up?

Do you own both phones? Maybe do a side by side for us?

I have the Note 20 Ultra and will pre order the 12 Pro Max on Friday. I will do a side by side when the 12PM comes in

Yesterday it was about 6pm evening time. Maybe the battery needs time to settle in?

Yeah that’s not good. Generally i was recharging at 9pm or being on 5-10% at 11pm but saying that during the week i was not getting loads of screen on time. Mine was draining in standby which i think exynos is known for...on my SD fold 2 the standby time is generally very good
