Has owned the S10 and exchanged it for the S10+? I'm wondering how much of a difference there is (hand wise). The carriers here have them in little metal boxes that don't allow you to pick them up and actually check out the device.

I'm quite happy with the S10, but wonder if the battery and extra screen size would be a decent tradeoff for the little bit of size increase. The weight difference is nominal and no matter what, both devices are much lighter than my xs max.

I have had the same battle in my head to be honest!
Contemplated swapping out for the larger model but I just don't know if I want the hassle.
Battery life is great for me on my S10 so I don't need the bigger battery, and looks like my phone seems to get longer SoT than some others with a Plus which is very odd!

The larger display I thought would be handy, but I already do have some false touches when trying to reach the other side of my phone so the Plus would only worsen that for me. I have very small hands though.

Also, the S10 is so close in size (minus width) to my XR which I found perfect meaning I might end up regretting it so decided to stick as I am.

Oddly enough, that FPS trick works, and it seems faster now?? How is that even possible?

Have you found the stock camera app to make your dog photos look like they have beauty mode applied? I saw some people complain about that. I wondered if Gcam remedies that issue. I haven't noticed my husband's cat pictures looking fuzzy. Well the cats are fuzzy in their catlike way of course. :) But the photos looked good. He hasn't gotten to take that many though. Crazy schedule.

Well, I just order the galaxy gear s3 classic lte off Ebay for $150 to go along with my S10e. I know its 2 years old, but it doesnt seem as though the watch platform has progressed in that time, in fact the new galaxy watches don't even have true Samsung Pay, only NFC.
Definitely bizarre choice for them to remove the MST tech from the newer watches. Nothing is better than seeing folks faces when I use Samsung Pay at somewhere that doesn't "support" contactless payments. I remember a store clerk at Walmart yelling to me at self checkout that it wouldn't work, and I turned and said "Oh yeah? Watch this."

Last day before I have to decide whether or not to keep my S10e. Retried the FP sensor and it works so much better now, especially when using it w/o a case. Makes the decision ever so tougher because I want the S10 or S10+ ideally. I could end my time w/ iOS since I am tried of Apple's shenanigans. But then again, they could win my business back if they make more multi-tasking in iOS 13.

I am truly 50/50 on it right now, but I have a slight preference to sticking with my Galaxy.

The FPS trick posted earlier is blowing my mind. It's basically foolproof in my experience thus far with both thumbs as one print, and both index fingers as one print.

I'm with you, it works so much better so far. Pretty incredible, and bizarre. Hopefully it holds up, I have had good days and bad, but this is promising.

My first S7 used to keep waking up in my pocket and purse. It did all kinds of crazy things in there like make videos and call people..

Lol ...its a big problem if the sensor keep waking up the phone. Battery sure will be drained and all other issues.

I only got around to setting up my S10 yesterday. Loving it and FPS works great for me, but I'm contemplating the same issue. Even had the little boxes problem at every carrier store I've been in. :D

I rang Samsung this morning to enquire about a potential swap. I was told they'd have to process the return then put through a new transaction for the S10 Plus. As a result I'd have to return the Buds I've already claimed as it's now outside the promotion period. Surely that's ridiculous?

This was on the phone though and I find them much more helpful in person. There is a proper Samsung store close by so I can go and talk to them. They also might actually let me handle the two outside those damn boxes and make an informed decision.

I'm using some Sennheiser bluetooth earphones with my S10. When I initiate Google Assistant to send a Whatsapp message nothing happens. If I try to do it via 'hey Google' on the phone itself it says I need to unlock the phone, which I guess is why the bluetooth method doesn't work either.

Does anyone know how I can do this without having to unlock the phone?

(Incidentally, I have been experiencing my S10 waking up in my pocket. It's really annoying)

I guess you're in the US, but that sounds correct from what @GrumpyMom has said in here about her experience / knowledge of Samsung returns.

Sounds like you might regret not returning it and getting a S10 or S10+ instead since you prefer those larger models...?

Regarding more multitasking in iOS 13...not to be a Debbie Downer here but that's probably as likely as me sitting down next to a unicorn on the bus this morning ;) at least if we're talking iPhone. "Our customers love how easy it is to multitask on the iPhone. Just use it alongside an iPad or Apple Watch and your productivity may increase up to 200%!"
