Curious, anyone who's used the Galaxy buds so far as well as Airpods in the past. Which one did you prefer and why?
I have both, so here’s a quick list of wins and losses.

The Galaxy buds sound better than the AirPods in that they create a seal and direct the sound better. Pairing is relatively painless once you get past all of the permissions (8). There are a lot of options for eq settings, touch pad controls, and of course they have the ambient noise pass through. However, I’ve found the touchpad track skipping to be hit or miss...mostly miss. Oftentimes if will register one tap, not two or three. Expect this to be remedied in an update.

The AirPods are great if you’re in the system. The sound is a little better than the included iPhone buds, and double tap, etc works fine. Are the new ones worth the 200.00 premium just for wireless charging? Not for me. Not to mention since Siri can’t recognize different voices it makes the new “hey Siri” kind of meh.

Personally, I like the galaxy buds better, I’d just like the touchpad controls to be a little more refined.

Sounds like you might regret not returning it and getting a S10 or S10+ instead since you prefer those larger models...?

Regarding more multitasking in iOS 13...not to be a Debbie Downer here but that's probably as likely as me sitting down next to a unicorn on the bus this morning ;) at least if we're talking iPhone. "Our customers love how easy it is to multitask on the iPhone. Just use it alongside an iPad or Apple Watch and your productivity may increase up to 200%!"

I think I rather get the in display FP sensor if anything. But to me, don't really care too much for the extra display size as much. The bigger batter on the S10+ would be nice, but the S10e has decent battery.

If anything, I can see myself staying put w/ the S10e. I did a return approved should I change my mind.

AT&T. Link is below. Add them to your cart and the 25% discount is applied. The offer is good until 4/11. Strangely enough though, I'm an AT&T customer and when I was signed in, the discount was not applied. I signed out, did checkout as a guest and the discount worked. It also only worked on mobile for me...weird all around, but I ended up getting the discount so whatever.

That's a dang good price for wireless neck buds, ty for the heads up on those! How do they sound compared to the Bullets? (I haven't tried the Beats X) And how do you charge them?

They are slightly worse for music but much less than you'd expect for price. I don't notice the difference for call quality (I've asked several ppl how they hear me also) or for podcast type stuff. They work with both Siri and Google Assistant.

I like that I can potentially wreck them in the gym or whatever without worrying.

They charge by micro USB, but this is my 1st USB-c phone, which is why I switched to the Bullets.

They are on Amazon outside the US but here is the brand link: https://www.anker.com/store/soundbuds-slim-plus/A3401111

Also recommend their cables. Swapped out the flimsy Apple ones for Anker's 6ft nylon coated ones years ago.

Least the buds have a decent assistant

Looking forward to when I get my hands on the buds

Wow, unless Apple is holding back for tomorrow, the iPhone Xr continues to get no love in terms of cases. Yeah I guess we are meant to show off the colors but by now some additional options would be nice. I still enjoy my Xr and would like to switch it up from the yellow showing through my clear Caudabe case with one of the new spring colors, but apparently that won't be an option.

At least the S10e customers gets some respect from Samsung. That phone is not shortchanged in the least from what I can see.

I honestly don't know what Apple is doing. They're making an Apple Taxed wireless charging case for their Airpods, reviving the iPod, etc.

It's actually funny how Apple wants to get a streaming service going and they don't even have an answer to the Firestick or the Chromecast. A $50 Apple Streaming Stick would be a great way to obtain Apple Streaming w/ an add-on.

And that brings me to one of my biggest gripes that I think finally has me a bit fed up. I have a huge iTunes Movie Library. I purchased these films, yet there's no way (yes I know about Movies Anywhere) for me to access them on a non-Apple device. Feels almost like robbery. I have an Apple TV so I'll be fine, but let's say I want to watch the Twin Peaks series on my phone when I'm on a plane about a week from now, I'll either have to pirate it on the Showbox app or buy it again on Google Play or Amazon. Lame.

I’m exactly the same. I have over 100 movies I’ve purchased on iTunes and over 100 TV shows, some of them with multiple series or complete box sets. There’s not even movies everywhere in the UK so I’m completely locked into playing them back in an Apple device.

I've always suspicious of this stuff.

Even when totally running Apple devices I always bought physical albums and movies (like the artwork, find interesting stuff on sleeves notes, often on sale etc). Never let iTunes auto manage my music's file structure - so easy to switch somewhere else.

Always used my Google Account, Microsoft Account or professional accounts for contacts, email and photos. Cloud Storage = Dropbox. Password Manager = 1Password universal sync.

I've never been quite sure why anyone would cede this stuff to Apple then claim it's a benefit.

For me I just started my movie collection many years back and took advantage of so many $4.99 deals that it actually did pay off. And as I said earlier, it’s nice that I can still use an Apple TV without it being dependent on an iPhone just annoying that I can’t just fire up one of my purchases on my Android.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t thing I can download those movies on a pc and then move them to my phone either right?

One can rip them to a PC/Mac then convert to an Apple friendly file type. Or do it in one step. But it does require some knowledge.

I once spent a loooong and painful Uni summer doing 10 or 20 movies/cds a day but at least my digital collection is now completely my own.

Just link your iTunes account to Movies Anywhere and you can watch on any device. It's what I did. Yes, I know not everything will be available in Movies Anywhere, but still, it's an option.

Now I feel bad. Went to the Samsung Store and asked about the S10 to S10 Plus exchange while keeping the Buds. The young woman was very helpful but rang HQ and got it OKed.

In the meantime, playing with both models, I decided the smaller one is better for me after all.

Now I feel like I've wasted her time. :(

Does anyone know if using two sims and the second sim constantly has low signal whether that would impact the battery?

I'm still not having great battery, I'm on 28% with SoT of 3h.14m

My second sim signal is constantly low
