Only had the phone a full day. Charged overnight last night took off charge about 8:45am and here's the results.

Already loads better than the regular S10 I had, which was still great in itself!

I do on my Plus yeah. Didn't turn it off this time as I knew the plus had a bigger battery so wanted to see the difference.
I'll be turnjng it off tomorrow as back to work so phone will be in a locker til 5:30pm. Pointless having the AOD active.

I imagine turnjng it off will give me even more than today, which is bonkers really as I've hardly out the phone down today!

Yeah I've noticed in my testings get a good hour extra I feel. AOD used 6% of my battery with it on

I have it on but just for tap now so see notifications when I need to

The only thing bothering me so far, and its very minor, is that for whatever reason the ESPN and YouTube apps increase brightness when I open them. It's the strangest thing!

I don't use auto brightness anyway so I'm used to adjusting my own brightness so not a deal breaker

BTW who uses the Adaptive brightness? I've found better battery life with it off

You can just double tap the screen anyway to see notifications, without having AOD switched on.

Yes but it uses less battery using AOD than double taping everytime. I may go back to keeping it on as all the time if it's not too bad on the battery life

You can also have AOD itself set to recognize taps, instead of staying on the all the time.
[doublepost=1553467893][/doublepost]Soooooo I decided to pick up a Galaxy Watch Active and just try it, and if I don't like it, return it. Opinions on the size as it compares to my wrist?

How are the film screen protectors holding up? Assuming there are some of you who kept yours on. I’m astonished my husband still has his in place.

Has anyone gone with the Whitestone dome?

I had a terrible migraine yesterday and lost fine control of my limbs and speech for a few hours, though thankfully I was spared any pain that most people think always comes with a migraine. I was just extra clumsy. I couldn’t hold onto anything properly. I think I’m going to need some extra protection on the display after all.

Looks really good I must say. Think the galaxy watch stands out more but I do like the bigger watch

Finally saw the Adaptive Power Saving setting at work tonight. Now that its learned my usage patterns, I guess it adjusted on its own. I was a 43% tonight when I noticed it had put me on medium power saver. Pretty cool, and makes sense. Usually I'm unwinding and not doing much in the evening. Didn't notice any negative impacts on performance and such.

Edit: yep definitely automatic. I turned the setting off, put it back on optimized, a few mins later turned the adaptive setting back on and within minutes it had put me back on medium power saver. Pretty slick.

With the s8+ I had, people claimed aod cost about 1% per hour, give or take. It's definitely worth having, as the savings aren't huge without it. I'm sure the S10+ is a lot more efficient now.

Basically managed to get 7 hours usage today.. Keeps getting better. Could have got more if I put on power mode at 30%

Very nice. Shame they didn't go 5000mah.

Not that I normally monitor my battery usage but I just changed apartment and waiting for cable hook-up so been using my S10+ as mobile hotspot and not just streaming but simultaneous casting to TV

So with 13% left well pleased for over 7 hours SOT

My LTE battery performance isn't great.

Off the charger at 7am and I'm @ 70% with 1h SoT.

Looks like on wifi it performs great but LTE is another story. Whereas, Snapdragon models are way ahead in terms of battery compared to the Exynos versions.

I'm tempted to try and get hold of a Snapdragon version but here in the UK, they don't sell them by default and theres no warranty on them either.

Wondamobile and the 12 month warranty is through them. And much cheaper than UK prices.

I think that's the story with any phone.
