You're right.

I'm on 87% and it came off the charger at 9am today. That's with 1.5 SOT.
Mine been good again

Ran into my first problem with the S10 and it's a fairly big one. When using the phone outside today on a bright day, the in display fingerprint scanner was very visible under the display at all times, especially when using a white screen. It looks like an off center rectangle.

I found some other forums reporting this issue and it sounds like Samsung are saying this is to be expected. It's not that big of a deal to me but for someone that works outside, this is probably a showstopper.

Woah, that's wild. Hadn't noticed it until now but I definitely see it. It's not a big deal, or even a deal at all for myself personally. Certainly interesting though.

Is it visible all the time like when gaming or watching video?

Oh well even when I worked outside at landscaping and gardening, I always went into the shade to use my phone or it would heat up so fast it was painful to hold. This was especially true of my first Galaxy S7 and my IPhone 7Plus. It just doesn’t come naturally to me to use my phone in bright direct sun. I avoid the sun on my own skin as much as I can anyway.

I'm the same way. Unless I'm taking a picture, I very very rarely use my phone in direct sunlight. Either way, it's interesting that it is visible under those conditions, but shouldn't really be shocking since we know it's under there somewhere anyhow. Speaking of direct sunlight, this display is shockingly usable in sunlight.

Rock freaking solid gym experience. An hour of treadmill, elliptical and a little weights. Never felt once like they would fall out or that I even needed to adjust them. AirPods don't fall out on me either, but they feel like they might from time-to-time so I'm constantly adjusting them, even if I don't have to. Connection was rock solid of course, and I only lost 10% battery in that hour. A+ gym experience.
More situational Galaxy Buds experience. Did some yard work earlier and these things are just a freaking marvel in design. Through an hour of ride mowing, weedeating, pulling weeds and sweeping sidewalks they stayed in my ears and felt comfortable, and rock solid still. Never felt the need to adjust them. What surprised me most though was the clarity of the music over the mower/weedeater noise at about 70% volume. I could just barely hear the rumbles of both and it did not distract me at all from the music. Lost 5% battery in that timespan.

You had to adjust much settings wise to get the sound you want?

No, not really. The only adjustment I made to sound, which I actually did yesterday morning, was changing the EQ to Dynamic in the Wearables app. Doing so slightly increases the volume and gives you a surround-like soundstage. Out of the box, they sound an awful lot like a noise-isolating version of AirPods. Changing to Dynamic takes the soundstage to a new level that AirPods can't come close to reaching by comparison. But all ears are different and they give you plenty of options for your soundstage preference. I just happen to like Dynamic the best.

I am the proud new owner of a refurbished 3rd hand Galaxy S7 Edge. Not quite the S10e i''ve been interested in, but I just wasn't ready to dish out almost a grand on my first try of a Samsung device. Consider this dipping my toes. One thing I'll say right off the top, Secure Folder is a game changer for me. Why have I not ever heard of this feature in reviews? Secure folder is like having a top secret and extremely secure second profile on the same device. How is this not talked about more among Samsung users or even tech reviewers? I'm already using it for pictures and various documents. As an Apple user, I've always been under the belief iOS is the most secure option, but the current iPhones have nothing like secure folder on this 3 yr old Galaxy S7 Edge. What?!? Consider my eyes opened, but there is so much here to still wrap my head around.

First rule of Secure Folder is, we don’t talk about Secure Folder

Does Google assistant work by just holding down on one of the Buds?

Yep. You can set either touchpad to Google Assistant, and the other touchpad to be quick ambient sound mode. If you choose volume control for one touchpad then it will set volume up/down to each touchpad by default. All of your skip, play/pause, etc functions will be there no matter what you set the touchpad hold commands to.

Question. How are they if laying on a pillow to the side? I used my airpods a lot right before bed.

I did this yesterday afternoon while listening to a podcast actually. I started dozing off. It was fine. Depending on your ears and how the buds sit, the pillow may slightly push on them, and that may be uncomfortable for some, but I fell asleep and woke up with them in my ears 30 mins later and it wasn't discomforting at all.

That's impressive

Just shocking to me how apple couldn't do this with air pods but won't get into that lol

So with volume you can scroll it up and down by touching the bud then? Do you use a galaxy watch or gear on the gym? As I use Spotify all on my watch but only as a remote as it won't let me raise the volume on my watch only via the phone so I have to get my phone to turn Up the volume which is a tad frustrating

The volume control you just hold the touchpad for a second or so and it will turn the volume up/down one 'notch', but if you continue to hold it will keep turning it up until you let go. Sneaky nice feature, and that's actually what I set my hold commands to instead of assistant/ambient. Unfortunately I can't comment on the watch aspect of it.

It'll all make sense once you have them in hand too. They've done a good job at simplifying the commands, but still giving you options. And the Wear app will always have the reference guide that shows the commands.

Do you see the battery % of the case as well?

That's one downside. The only indication of case charge is the light on the front. Nothing in the app, nothing in the quick settings panel.

Basically, when the case charges you'll see a red light indicating its charging, then green when its fully charged. When it's not charging you'll see green when its 60-100%, yellow when its 30-60%, red when its below 30% and blinking red when its low and needs to be charged.

Case battery level is something that could easily be added in a future update, I'd think, unless the case itself doesn't have bluetooth connection or something. Personally I don't worry about it too much. If I see its yellow, I just throw it on a wireless charger for a bit.

Least there's different stages so you know it's low. But yeah got to be be something they should add with an update you would think

Only had the phone a full day. Charged overnight last night took off charge about 8:45am and here's the results.

Already loads better than the regular S10 I had, which was still great in itself!
