Especially anything from Gordon Kelly is clickbait!Don't bother reading anything on Forbes that is tech related. They have no clue what they are talking about 99% of the time. They just put out clickbait articles to get traffic.

Yep it’s always a nasty surprise.Especially anything from Gordon Kelly is clickbait!
I agree this would fit with the issues I was having before my reset. No need to do a factory reset. Go into settings / General management / Reset
Then click on reset Accessibility settings
then click on Reset Network Settings
Then Click on Reset ALL settings
Your phone will reboot after that.
The issue is some phones get corrupted settings when you setup the phone using Smart switch or from google servers thats prevents the phone from going into Deep sleep. There is also a VOIP bug.
I have the Exynos version S10 plus and have gotten 2 full days of standby out of it with over 5 hours SOT, its a battery beast.

Got the Galaxy Buds yesterday. So far, I really like them. The sound is great. My only complaint is that on phone calls, I struggle to hear my own voice enough. Almost feels like I'm in a vacuum. I think I was used to the Airpods where there was a bit more open air. Where the Airpods are a bit better is in not really realizing that they're in your ear. With the Galaxy Buds, I want to take them out more even when I'm not on phone calls. Ambient sounds is good but I still feel like I'm a bit too disconnected from the rest of the office at work.
Where I think these are going to kick ass is running/workouts. These things are not falling out of the ear. Not that the Airpods did fall out but I always thought they were going to.
I hate taking calls on noise isolating headphones. The galaxy buds were the same way for me. I far prefer my AirPods for calls. The only time I really care about noise cancellation is on flights which I use my Bose QC35. Otherwise, I do prefer the AirPods for office music listening and taking calls when I'm working from home or out and about.
Still 'preparing for dispatch' on my watch.
Just tried to call them in work on my break - went through all of the options the same as I have on my 3 previous calls.
The girl on the phone didn't even take my order number and said "I'll transfer you through to the washing machine and refridgerator deaprtment".
What? She didn't even ask what I'd ordered.
Then I got an automated response whilst holding to say they were experincing very high volumes so I just hung up.
Card was charged the minute I ordered it. Unable to cancel on the website.
I am absolutely hopping mad about it. Some of the worst service I've ever experienced.
At this stage I'm considering just logging a formal complaint, trying to have it cancelled and sacking the idea off altogether.
Samsung's customer service is attrocious.
I think switching between inner and outer mic may help, not tried it myselfGot the Galaxy Buds yesterday. So far, I really like them. The sound is great. Oh do you know how to do that?I think switching between inner and outer mic may help, not tried it myself
I think the ambient sound mode and call mode is in the Buds setting screen allows for more control over what you can hearOh do you know how to do that?
So might be my galaxy watch doing itSamsung Accessory Service. Grumpydad just looked it up when I showed him your post and he said it seemed familiar.
Think my Buds are arriving tomorrow
Got a dispatch email for delivery tomorrow. Guessing its the Buds as not ordered anything else
Sounds like a royal mess up...It's probably my elusive Watch.
They've prob just sent it to someone else to further add to my stellar experience.
I think your watch and my Flamingo Pink S10+ are having a little holiday together somewhere in the Samsung warehouse. Sigh...It's probably my elusive Watch.

Note, you'll have to set every setting again.
I do now with next to zero impact. AOD shows about 5% usage over an 18 hour period.OK cheers just tried it so will see if it works.
May leave 4G on to see if it's better
You have AOD on btw?
Hopefully this works for me.. Hard to measure it currently as was on 30% when it I reset the settingsI do now with next to zero impact. AOD shows about 5% usage over an 18 hour period.
I'm on 40% with 4.5 SoT and 18.5 hours on battery. So much better since the factory restore. I have also not enabled adaptive power mode.
