For some reason I'm locked out of selecting anything but 128 GB option. 512 is supposed to be an option but is not selectable, at least not for flamingo pink or the blue.

128 GB is probably the size I'd get anyway but I want to make sure my Samsung shopping app and the site are both working as they should before I try to order. I also haven't received the push email I'm supposed to have gotten for my reservation.

I think I'll get the pink since teal green apparently is not an option for the US. I am only mildly disappointed about that. But I'll take another look at white and blue.

I *think* 512GB and up is only available for the ceramic finishes. Again, I need to find this info but I remember reading it somewhere.

See what Samsung offers in trade. I think it was $550 last time I looked.

yep, $550 for P3XL

No way I'm trading the 3XL for $550. I could probably get over $700 on Swappa.

Sorry, I’m just getting caught up with all the info and have read through the latest posts on this thread...

The only S10+ preorder option appears to be 128 GB. I’ve tried all different colors/carriers and it won’t let me choose anything except 128GB. Is Samsung releasing the higher storages later?

Looks like you need ceramic option for higher storage tiers.

It’s so weird. I can preorder the Smart Cover case in teal green but that phone color is not an option for the US. We get the garish and loud flamingo pink, which I actually do love. Oh well I guess I’ll have to stick a garish loud pink Samsung into a teal case and destroy all semblance of good taste. :p

Actually from what I can tell it will be difficult to see what color the phone is once it’s in that case. You’d have to peek in on the top and bottom.

About to preorder a Flamingo pink S10+ 128 with free earbuds

$550 for my note 8 that was just sitting in a drawer.

=

$450 for a new phone which is good by me.

Not sure I would have gotten it if I didn't have a extra note 8 laying around.

Looking forward to getting away from my one plus 6t, which is a great phone with a terrible camera. Hopefully it still fetches a few $ on the second hand market

The new Samsung Watch is so nice. Will it actually work with an iPhone Xs or is it not usefully as an current iOS user.

I wish they gave the S10 4g the 6.7 inch screen, and battery from the 5g.

I don't really care about having 5g since it is years away near me, and I upgrade phones non stop. I do want as big a screen as possible.

It'll probably be moved down to it next year. Top of the line models are always test beds for new tech.

Looks like a very nice upgrade.

Cutouts are nothing. Blend in well.

In screen fingerprint scanner is pretty quick. Curious to see how it works with wet digits & how big its footprint is.

The multi cameras on the back & their bulge-free form are still impressive. Yet to see images though.

The bigger screen in a smaller form factor makes old Galaxies very dated á la iPhone 8 & earlier models after the X came out.

Price in Australia will be loco...big negative that applies to all the big players...

Hi all, it's been a long time. Kept an eye out on the S10 since I am not 100% confident in Apple's ability to deliver a major feature filled iOS 13 update this upcoming WWDC.

I am looking to see how Samsung's One UI works on the S10. I like how the S10E has major specs and still doesn't compromise on the display. As a former iPhone X owner, the 1125p resolution wasn't a huge negative to me. My XS Max's 1242p display is awesome too. A 1080p HDR+ display is more than sufficient for my needs.

Given the specs, I can say the S10E is an amazing package w/ 6gb RAM, dual cameras, 855 processor, and the other features Samsung offers. I rather have the flat display w/ a physical FP sensor than an under the screen option w/ curved displays.

Getting the S10E would be depend on some major factors: iOS 13 being subpar, One UI being good enough performance wise and update wise, Samsung prices tank pretty quickly, reviews, and how much I can sell my XS Max.

My phone works really well, it's just feels boring. But I don't want to give up a known good quantity that works really well for an unknown with more problems and want to go back to iOS. It would be quite stupid on my part to rush into a S10E given my concerns.

From my perspective it's a significant compromise to go down to 438ppi from 570ppi. When I had the Pixel 3, while the colors looked good, it was a noticeable difference in pixel density between the two.

That is my only real hangup on the S10e. I'd be willing to give the side fingerprint sensor a try, but I don't want to give up what I have with my S8 now with ppi. The cameras would be a significant upgrade, but I look at my display all day so it's kind of a big deal to me.

The curved edges do look better on the S10 than the prior gen, but I really don't want any curves on the edges at all.

Saw where the 5G Galaxy S10 will be out.in the second quarter..I'd wait but then probably no trade in but you can sell it yourself.
The Galaxy Fold is coming out end of April , starting at ONLY $1980
But, they are innovating, unlike Apple

To me, an OLED w/ high brightness, good color accuracy, HDR is what I really want. The notch-free display is better w/ a holepunch design imo. Different strokes for different folks. I personally would take an iPhone XR w/ $350 back in my pocket than an $1100 iPhone XS Max. But I also paid only $500 for my iPhone XS Max, so no complaints in terms of the price I paid.
[doublepost=1550714868][/doublepost]Does anyone know if the Galaxy S10E has a facial detection or Iris Scanning feature?

It has a fingerprint sensor in the power button.

I'm just setting up my note 9 and I'm pretty good. The s10 is flames but I don't need it right now, it's a little easier to hold in the hand but not worth the money.

Since I'm giving in the s8, I would have gotten 250 for the s8 towards the 1000 s10 so I'm outta 750.

I got 350 for the s8 towards the note with 300 off so I'm paying under 400 for the note 9...

Good deal and I'll deal with it for a few years... the FPS on the s10 is tempting but it's not needed that much.

It looks awesome in white though

Given the S10e is shorter in height but wider, I'll probably skip that model. The width comes from having flat glass over curved. So I will begrudgingly ignore it for the time being. Being able to remap the Bixby button is sweet, though, and no need to buy the pro version of bxActions if you hadn't already.

I picked up a few media players on Play sales the last few months. Some of them quite gorgeous. Should look even better on the new phones.

I will not be trading in since I like keeping my phones. I'll probably move my S9 to a drawer seeing as I use another S9 for work purposes.

One thing I missed is whether these new phones use a physical SIM or eSIM. We're with Verizon, and I have Verizon for my work phone, too, but I'm not sure how new phones are given that CDMA will be dead by next year.
[doublepost=1550717515][/doublepost]Though, I'm now curious about the Note 10...

Wondering which one will ship faster...Verizon or direct from Samsung?
Want to be sure to get it by 3/8
