I'm going for the 12gb, 1Tb version S10+. Anybody else?
Whoa you are Pusheen on a unicorn!

I would honestly love to do that, but because I also want the watch and maybe a shot at The Galaxy Fold or Pixel 4 toward the end of the year I need to keep it low key. I'll go for the flamingo 10+ at 128 GB. That's still probably Pusheen with a mustache and monocle.

I'm waiting for my email to come in tomorrow so I can do my pre-order and hopefully have all the components of it go through properly.

Well I skipped out on the Note 9. So I deserve my super fancy S10+. :D

I would have done the same as you, but I'm not feeling the Galaxy Fold cause the main display is too small for my liking. Hopefully future gen will have a bigger main display.

Wondering which one will ship faster...Verizon or direct from Samsung?
Want to be sure to get it by 3/8

I was thinking the same thing, but with T-mobile. I'm most likely going to order from Samsung, cause the buds should come with it at the same time. Ordering from a carrier, you have to wait to get the phone, then redeem the buds, then wait weeks after.

Sounds like the S10s have facial detection and no iris scanning. I wonder how good is the facial detection at nighttime? It’s not going to be as good as FaceID.

How much is the galaxy active in the US? I heard it’s $199 but it the UK it’s £299

Such a shame that the Coral isn’t available in the UK. I guess I’m going to have to go for the white then which is still pretty enough.

I’m still trying to catch up on everything. I was only able to catch parts of the event as my baby has a flu so was unsettled.

Apart from the new design is there any real differences between the galaxy active and the galaxy active watch?

No love for for the S10e? Side fingerprint scanner is perfectly fine since it works in all situations such as on table, pulling out of pocket and car mounted. Much prefer ultrawide camera and don't care for telephoto. They could've gone a step further and remove the front selfie camera to have a full holeless screen and use the rear ultrawide for selfie.

Adobe premier rush being compatible with Dex is a good move. I don’t have a desktop but would like to do some photo and video editing on a bigger screen than my MacBook Air which has a low resolution display anyway.

Is it likely that we will get the galaxy buds straight away if we buy directly from Samsung?

I’m deciding whether to order from Samsung or Carphone Warehouse.

I’m going to sell my Xs max to a trade in site as I can get £770 and Samsung is only offering £300.

Ok, if that’s the case, then purchases/password log-ins on the S10 will be done via the ultrasonic fingerprint?

So we may now know that the Notch/Face ID of the iPhone is up against the Punch Hole/Fingerprint scanner of the Galaxy. The biometric authentication systems of each dictate the size of obstruction in this (near) bezel-free era.

The user experience will definitely differ. Will people prefer the less obstructing punch hole camera with new type of fingerprint sensor (with unknown sensitivities to dampness etc), or the slightly more obtrusive notch with a proven Face ID authentication system?

Reviews will be interesting.

Well I got the same shipping date on my pre-order.
S10+... March 8
Galaxy Buds ... March 8
So they should arrive at the same time or a day or two apart.

For the most part, that's how it was done already. The Iris scanner was never implemented into non Samsung apps. I think just one banking app implemented it.

I personally liked the Iris sensor. It was my most frequent use of unlocking my phone, secret folder, and Samsung Pay.

Oh no I hope your baby gets well very soon. I wish you could have coral and I could have green in the US as an option. Oddly enough we get green smart covers here but not coral ones.

I placed my pre-order but it took two attempts to get it all sorted. The first time they showed me the option to add a 360 camera AND a Smart Cover case for free, so naturally, I added them. But as I was checking out it was clear I would be charged $200+ for them. So I deleted everything from my cart and went back to my email to get back to the pre-order page.

My poor husband wasn't paying close enough attention and ordered the wrong case. He ordered the one for the S10 not the S10+ and he's waiting to hear back as to whether or not he can get that deleted from his pre-order.

I wanted a teal smart cover case which they do offer on the Samsung site but for some reason it is not at all possible to order it from within pre-orders for the phone. I had to get my accessories credit applied to a black smart cover case instead. Oh well I suppose black and coral will be more dignified than teal and coral.

Honestly, ordering anything directly from Samsung is always such a hot mess.

I don't know why I even bothered to reserve for a pre-order that promised a March 8th delivery date...because they tell me Flamingo Pink can't be delivered until March 15th. Apparently they have to catch real flamingos to color match the phone tint properly.

Well it's a given that there is a S10+ Ceramic White 512GB with my name on, once we can pre-order tomorrow here in KL

including taxes S10+ 128GB UKP 679 or USD 908, 512GB UKP 866 or USD 1129
including taxes S10 128GB UKP 621 or USD 810
Including taxes S10e 128GB UKP 508 or USD 662

Colour Prism White, Black and Green and Ceramic Black or White

I liked the fact that all those previous features are just a given now and hardly mentioned re water resistance USB-C etc etc

Now what to do about the Fold as the 5G does not interest me and in 6 months a S10 Note hummmmmmmmmm

Just wasted 2 hours reading the MR front page comments on the Fold would of been more interesting sawing my legs off

Think the Fold is being misunderstood by many like the surface/ 2in 1's

No ones even mentioned that the front screen is more like a super always on display and likely to have stellar battery endurance

I guess S-pen is out as folding screen is not scratch resistant enough

I still want one but maybe wait for an offer :)

Will be ordering tomorrow from Best Buy to get an additional $100 off. The 10e is exactly what I wanted, flat display, 5.8”, no bezels, 256gb/8gb ram. The only downside is I prefer the fingerprint reader on the back.

All in all, after trading in my Note 8, it’ll come out to $200 plus tax, and I get wireless earbuds.

Now, if only they’ll come out with a Note 10e!

I've found it's easier to let people live in some fantasy world rather than reality. Amusing when many consider themselves experts in tech but need a concept explained to them several times before it clicks.

"Simple and easy" to me says "I'm not willing to learn anything and need shortcuts for everything."

Hey you get more GeeBeez than I did. My husband and I did not get the option to order anything but 128 GB S10+ models.

I'm so excited that with the trade in of my S9+ the total bill was $487.58 and that includes tax and the ear buds and a black smart cover. I didn't pay too much for the S9+ I'm trading in because that price got brought down by an S7 Edge.

The only phones I paid too much for was my Product Red iPhone 8 Plus and my Pixel 2 last year. Every other phone I got from last year to this one got discounted from trade ins or sales.

Huh, that’s weird, it shows a 256gb option in the Best Buy app. As a bonus, that model also comes with 8gb ram.

Yeah, they’re trade in offers are really good. The model I’m getting is $850, minus $550 Note 8 trade in, plus another $100 off Best Buy special, comes to $200 total. I’m going to see if I can also trade in my old S7, it says it’s worth $150, but not sure if I can trade in multiple handsets. If I can though, that’s $50.

Black 128GB S10 Edge ordered direct from Samsung UK.

Was going to pay outright and then decided to go through the Samsung upgrade program. All confirmed for 8th March delivery.

Never done an upgrade program before. Hope I’ve made a good choice as I know I will want next years phone anyway so figured why not.

I must be in the minority who are underwhelmed by the announced S10 range (in comparison to my Note9).

I think I will skip pre-order and actually wait it out for the Note10 (although I have been known to have very limited will power to new tech.. hehe!).

On the other hand.. the Galaxy Watch Active.. I may treat myself to one for the time being to satisfy my new tech itch!

(PS. the top and bottom bezels for all the S10 models being so evidently different thicknesses is really bugging me!)

Great, you get a case in the box! Will tide me get u TIL I decided between the S10 and S10+. Pre-ordered both as I wasn’t sure which I’d prefer as a second device. My XS is my main device.

I must be in the minority who are underwhelmed by the announced S10 range (in comparison to my Note9).

The new phones are an improvement but similar to the iPhone XS they are iterative to the point that phone owners will ask: What can I do on the S10 that I can’t on my my S8 or S9?

I love the new wide angle lens. It’s utterly mind blowing but it’s barrier to significance is Instagrams lack of support for wide photos.

However overall the design and tech is class leading. The S10 is notably lighter than the XS Max and the small form factor of the S10e will be welcomed by many.

Samsung has delivered but will impress even more with the Note 10.
