The trade in offer for my Fiancée S8 was £270 which isn’t bad at all

Her contract ends August and they told her she can upgrade now and they will pay off the remaining £191 for same price tariff as her S8 which sounds incredible really

I went for 512GB so I know I’m Epulu never worry about storage as I plan to take plenty of pics/videos of my wedding/honeymoon this year then planning a baby next year so will need the storage lol

Yes you will here the storage with a baby. I have 23,355 pics on my iPhone and I probably only had less than 1,000 before I had kids. I always kept my pics and media on the SD card and used the internal storage for apps.

I wonder if the S10 plus can be used with existing gear VR headsets. I have the latest version and I’ve got my Dex dock ready to go too.

The rotation button solves that problem for me. I’m very OCD about that rotation button

I’ve used the AKG earbuds that came with the note 8 and S9 plus. They are wired but they fitted in my ears nicely. So I hope the buds do too. Imagine we are getting the buds for free and they are also throwing in a good pair of wired headphones in the box too!

I’m a bit jealous of you getting the coral colour in the US but the prism white is nice too.

I think history is repeating itself. The last gold iPhone I had was the 5S which I used for 28 before switching back to the note 3. Now I have a gold Xs max and I’m switching back to the S10. I don’t seem to want to keep gold iPhones lol

Oh yeah the AKG earbuds fit me well! I love them. I forget I'm getting another pair in the box.

I'm ridiculously excited when I take delivery of my order, I will have everything I need and want all there for well under $500. I won't need to spend extra in the case thanks to the reservation credit for accessories, which allowed me to get the exact case I wanted (though the color isn't my first choice but I may end up liking black just fine with coral).

I have also been pleased with my Pixel 3XL. If the new Samsung watch works out for me, I'm probably going to drift gently away from iPhone for awhile.

For example the S10+ is only available in 128GB. At least theres more colors this year.

It’s no different to Apple releasing a product red version of th iPhone mid cycle. However I would have liked coral but the prism white is nice too.

I’m not referring to that. When Apple releases phones you get all storage configurations in all colors available. They don’t have exclusive storage amounts for certain colors. It’s stupid and Samsung does this every year.

Oh that's a relief about Gear VR. Thank you for looking that up.

And oh goodness I thought I was the only one OCD about auto rotate. I think it plagues me because of how I often like to lie on my side when I'm reading for the night and I often end up rotating the display all over the place when I do that.

Well I couldn’t get a coral Xs max because it was only available on the Xr and you couldn’t get a yellow llo Xr in 512GB for example. Apple do it too.

Not exactly....you can't get all the Xr colors on the Xs or Xs Max.
Then you could not get the Product Red at launch for any of the iPhones in 2019

It confused me but only because of some really freaky glitches I had with the site earlier.

Actually I guess I am still confused. I thought it was AT&T’s fault I could only select 128GB. But I guess Samsung is the one placing the limits?????

Well given the prices for the different models and configurations I can see why they’d want to limit the $550 trade in and free ear buds deal to the minimum configuration of their S10+ model.

And then once you get to ceramic level of pricing they decided they likely wouldn’t sell enough of those outside of deals anyway... so what the hell.

Honestly I would be tempted by the coral S10... alas, not available in the UK. Samsung don’t the usual and leaving the nest colours to the US.
You’d think that they didn’t have much market share over here, but Samsung phones are literally just as popular as iPhones over here now.

No doubt it’ll come out in three months as per all the good Samsung colours that the US get day one.

Well, last night I pre-ordered the unlocked S10 in prism white 128G storage and the free earbuds, I’ll be trading in my S9 for 550, however, I didn’t see the 50$ credit for accessories in Samsung website. I had the reservation.
