I am probably gonna pre order also. Seems nice upgrades all round from my note 8.

Just want to see some camera samples now.

How much is the galaxy active in the US? I heard it’s $199 but it the UK it’s £299

Such a shame that the Coral isn’t available in the UK. I guess I’m going to have to go for the white then which is still pretty enough.

I’m still trying to catch up on everything. I was only able to catch parts of the event as my baby has a flu so was unsettled.

Apart from the new design is there any real differences between the galaxy active and the galaxy active watch?
Hope the little one gets better soon!

Pre-ordered the S10 128 in black. I usually prefer the plus variant, but I’ve grown accustomed to the size of my XS. Delivery of 3/8 is planned. Looking forward to trying it out.

Will be ordering tomorrow from Best Buy to get an additional $100 off. The 10e is exactly what I wanted, flat display, 5.8”, no bezels, 256gb/8gb ram. The only downside is I prefer the fingerprint reader on the back.

All in all, after trading in my Note 8, it’ll come out to $200 plus tax, and I get wireless earbuds.

Now, if only they’ll come out with a Note 10e!

Are they doing the $100 off on the unlocked phone?

Huh, that’s weird, it shows a 256gb option in the Best Buy app. As a bonus, that model also comes with 8gb ram.

Yeah, they’re trade in offers are really good. The model I’m getting is $850, minus $550 Note 8 trade in, plus another $100 off Best Buy special, comes to $200 total. I’m going to see if I can also trade in my old S7, it says it’s worth $150, but not sure if I can trade in multiple handsets. If I can though, that’s $50.

I am checking on the AT&T site and for the S10+ model, at least, it looks like they are offering only the 128 GB model. AT&T often pulls this crap, which is why my S9+ is only 64 GB despite Samsung having made a 128 GB model last year. But at least this year the minimum is 128GB, which should suit just fine. I just don't like carriers throwing their weight around on every damn thing.

If apple disappoint then note 10 will be my phone after the S10 which I will just sell

Plan to get galaxy active as well and least the buds are free

So not that expensive going to a new ecosystem really

I’m ordering mine when I get in from work this afternoon. I’m just so bored of the iPhone and fed up of waiting for them to make changes. There’s too much good tech in these phones to ignore. I’m getting the galaxy active too.

I’m ordering from Samsung direct and then I will trade my phone in at Carphone Warehouse or O2 because I can’t be bothered to send it off when the S10 plus comes. And I’m trading in my Apple Watch with Samsung too.

Are you getting the tab S4 too ?

The trade in with CPW and o2 are pretty good

Which model you getting?

For me what makes thing hard for me to justify is the price of my apple products. I mean my max 256GB cost £150 more than the S10 plus 512GB..which is a joke

The galaxy active is £330 less than my Apple Watch. I don’t expect the active to be as good with apps etc but it will do what I need it to do which is fitness and notifications

In terms of the Tab I’m waiting to see if they bring out the tab S5 later this year and see

I will still use my iPad Pro for at home and at work so apple will still be in my ecosystem as will my HomePods which get regular use for my music but unless apple changes their ways then the iPad Pro and homepods may be my only apple products going forward

I’m expecting note 10 to blow the next iPhone away if I’m honest

The fact we can get the galaxy buds free is incredible really to basically replace my air pods

Yeah this is an interesting trial period for me, too. I already liked my S9+ well enough I would have left Apple for it except for the painful lack of a wearable that met my needs well enough. Now with the Active watch (or whatever the sport watch is called) I finally have a chance to break free.

I am just sweating the OLED display on the S10 series. I know Samsung made some changes to it, positive ones by the sound of it, but I know I can't take it for granted my migraine problem won't be set off as it was for iPhone OLED.

I'm such a mess I can't even use Airpods, either. Again I fall in a weird tiny minority of people who get odd physical problems with them, in my case acute tinnitus. So I'm glad these Samsung wireless buds are free for my purchase, just in case they prove incompatible with my special snowflake carcass.

My only other experience with Samsung wireless earbuds was that they would forcibly eject themselves from my ears and go flying. sproinggggg! (The sound was tinny anyway).

My cats thought that was very entertaining. :p

So far, the only Bluetooth wireless earbuds I've worn successfully have been a pair of Beats from the Apple Store. They're not fully wireless though. They have a wire between them where the controls and presumably the mic are.

I'm still in a bit of shock that I have ordered flamingo pink. All these weeks of leaks and that is not a color that ever came up for the US. Actually I don't remember seeing it at all. I'll be carrying a bright yellow Xr, a white Pixel with a bright green power button, and a bright pinkish orangish Samsung.

I don't carry 3 phones around all the time, but it happens more often than you'd think.

What I like about the buds is 6 hours battery on single charge and the pairing seems as easy as air pods

For a free product really can’t complain :)

I’m surprised how cheap the active is

Oh I haven’t seen O2’s trade in but I thought it was the same as Carphone Warehouse. I’ll have to do a bit of research and then order it when I get in. I know. I really struggled to even get the Xs max because I felt it just wasn’t worth the money but I thought because I have so many Apple products it would be hard to switch.

The galaxy buds are such an incentive for me too. My AirPods are only getting less than 2 hours on a charge now and often only one will connect and I have to put them back in the case to get them to connect. I’m getting the buds for free and we are getting a wireless portable battery pack with the galaxy watch too. I’m only going to be spending about £250 for the phone, watch and galaxy buds (after trade ins) and if I stayed with Apple I’d have to spend at least £160 to get new AirPods!

I think I’ll get the 128GB because I’m only using 75GB on my 256 Max and I had the X in 256GB before and was using about the same. I’ve got a a 200GB SD card that I can put in there. And it’s the S10 plus of course because it’s the biggest!!

The trade in offer for my Fiancée S8 was £270 which isn’t bad at all

Her contract ends August and they told her she can upgrade now and they will pay off the remaining £191 for same price tariff as her S8 which sounds incredible really

I went for 512GB so I know I’m would never worry about storage as I plan to take plenty of pics/videos of my wedding/honeymoon this year then planning a baby next year so will need the storage lol

I’ve used the AKG earbuds that came with the note 8 and S9 plus. They are wired but they fitted in my ears nicely. So I hope the buds do too. Imagine we are getting the buds for free and they are also throwing in a good pair of wired headphones in the box too!

I’m a bit jealous of you getting the coral colour in the US but the prism white is nice too.

I think history is repeating itself. The last gold iPhone I had was the 5S which I used for 28 before switching back to the note 3. Now I have a gold Xs max and I’m switching back to the S10. I don’t seem to want to keep gold iPhones lol
