I can see this being an issue for some people. And it’s interesting that Samsung says on their site that their screen protector works perfectly with the sensor and that they recommend carriers have it in store. . . Obviously they want to sell them, but still.
Their screen protector does work it's just not as fast.

Has anyone been able to re map the Bixby button on the Galaxy S10 yet?

I can't yet because they didn't get me the update on my phone yet. It's weird because I thought it was already out. No matter, it's not a big deal since I can always use an app to take care of the Bixby button.

Finally got my Ceramic White S10+ and my Galaxy Buds.

1TB ...:D:D:D..... Is it really taking up 89.2GB user data out the box though? .... Maybe an over provisioning partition? o_O

Early reviews on other forums on the fingerprint sensor aren't great, will find out myself tonight. Could be user error, could be an issue. Guess we will see.
Well it seems better after having my S10+ for at least 20 hours now :)

My index finger was always good and better after the update but my thumb was only as good after I re-enrolled it and also did it again as a 3rd print

Of course it could just be me and I have better placement now :D

When I first tried mine I thought the same but as soon as I took off the factory screen protector it improved dramatically. It's as fast if not faster then my s9's capacitive fps.

The biggest issue for me is the loss of the notification led, its making me want to keep my S9 honestly. You don't realise just how much you depend on it till it's gone.
For the moment they have the colour animations around the edge of the screen it is rumored the illumination around the punch/pill which only shows with selfie cam will come in an update

Did you notice the background also rotates with the screen now but changes to the perceived aspect ratio so looks like a zoom in

Besides seeing the charging status from a distance. I've stop caring about the notification led ever since Always On Display was implemented.
Yes it's also a bit mute if you use a wallet type case like the LED cover

Got my Black S10+ 128GB direct from Samsung. Setting it up now and loving the device so far.
Mine came with a screen protector pre installed.
Do yourself a favor and remove it. It makes the FPS work sooo much better. I was having to press way to hard to register my fingerprints. But now it is so fast. Love the double tap to wake as well.
I don't use screen protectors anyway so not a thing for me.

Yep I agree about the screen protector it works extremely well without it

Just a heads up

If you are upgrading from a previous Galaxy and had Samsung Pay, un-register your card before resetting device etc.

I just factory reset my Note 9 as a guy at work wants it today and my bank is giving me grief trying put my card on the S10+
When resetting any Android phone to sell or give away, you should always go into account settings and delete all of your accounts specially Samsung and Google

I though it was a decent screen protector until I pulled it off. LOL

My apps are now opening super fast after letting the phone sit over night on the charger. I have a feeling the power management slowly starts to optimise apps that are used often to stop them from going to sleep in the background. I have to say after playing with the phone for 6 hours or so the only thing I don't like is the loss of the Notification LED, everything else is living up to expectations and even exceeding them.
