Their screen protector does work it's just not as fast.
In settings on my S9, there is a touch sensitivity setting and it says it is for screen protectors. It's just a on-off toggle iirc. Settings>Display>Touch sensitivity.
Maybe they have that off out of the box. I noticed it looking for something else. I did have a tempered glass protector on it that only had anhesive on the sides and it didn't fit good, not nearly as well as those that come on the S10. Ended up throwing that protector away lol.
Before you take the protectors off, I'd look for that setting because the protector seems to fit nice.

Oh Samsung, this would never happen with Apple, people down under that ordered direct from Samsung are getting these emails.
Talk about false advertising.
Since when does Apple give you anything for free with purchase of a iPhone?
Didn't think so.

A few more thoughts so far, the display is incredible, best I have ever seen, which is to be expected. Still having trouble with the fingerprint sensor, much better, but still not close to Face ID or Touch ID, or Note 9 sensor, but I am on unlocked version, and don't have the update for it yet.

Everything else, the phone is really fast, everything looks beautiful, tried a couple of movies, they look great and you notice the hole punch out less than the notch, and probably won't notice at all once used to it. Samsung One UI is much improved over previous software, much smoother and easier to navigate. I just really want the fingerprint sensor update and camera update. And as my issue with Samsung phones is updates, I hope it comes soon, I thought it was there for everyone at launch.

I have unlocked international dual sim version and update was there

Try manual update or go to developers site and see if a side load is available

Enrol same finger several times and increase screen sensitivity for now

Steve, did you quote me? @SteveJUAE

You can also try Samsung's Smart Switch. If a carrier or non-carrier update is available but hasn't fully rolled, then you can use Smart Switch to do a direct upgrade. Anything outside that and you may need Odin.

Oh, can anyone with One UI/Pie check if you can enable a guest user on your phone and lock down the master account?
[doublepost=1551945976][/doublepost]
Yes my bad had the wrong quote but you were S10 fast :D

Fixed it sorry
It's fine, mate. The forum notices don't go away. :)
[doublepost=1551946134][/doublepost]I can update my phones, but I'd rather not for the time being.

I've got a few apps waiting to be updated to work well with Pie.
[doublepost=1551946256][/doublepost]
tried a couple of movies
The stock video player? Yikes. I picked up KM Player Pro on discount a long time ago. VLC is fine, too, but was too buggy and intrusive when I tried it out. I'm sure there's better paid apps, especially for music. I simply don't know any of them. Following the best apps videos or articles is bit time consuming after a while.

The display is miles better and brighter than the P3 XL and better is sunlight as well.
Wish it was as wide and the P3 XL though :)
According to measurements they're actually the exact same width. I haven't held them side by side myself but I guess it's those sneaky curves making a display look more narrow again.

Still though, when I played with the 10+ in a store I thought it looked wider than most other current phones because of those super thin bezels + having hole punch instead of notch. Really liked the dimensions of it.

question about Smart Lock

I have been out of Android a while now, but is Smart Lock still working? cause I saw a post on reddit from someone with a screenshot where it said Smart Lock on the Lockscreen?

So as I wait patiently for my S10+ to arrive tomorrow I went ahead and purchased the Galaxy Watch to compliment it.

Originally I was going to go for the active but I picked up a great deal on eBay for a nearly new watch, three bands and a duo charger. All for £205. The watch alone is typically £299 here in the UK.

Also added a silver link band from Amazon. Kinda digging it right now..

A little update on the battery of the Exynos S10+ Currently sitting at 50% battery with 5 hours and 30 mins SOT. Yes, its that good!

Edit: Just about to go to bed sitting at 15% battery and 8 hours SOT. Easily can get 9 hours out of this phone and was on mobile data all day, no WiFi at my office. Quadhd display setting as well.

Shipping notification received for delivery tomorrow. Hopefully before 11am (unlikely) as I won’t be around to sign for from then.

It is DPD though, who do normally use the initiative to leave with a neighbour, so fingers crossed!

The width is almost the same as the P3XL and XS Max but it just seems narrow to me
So much lighter than my Xs Max though

They don’t usually leave high value items with neighbours or in a safe place. That’s what my DPD app says for this delivery. You can pay to have it delivered within a certain time.

Oh, wait, have you got the fingerprint scan setup? That may be what's impeding it. PIN or pattern should behave as they did on previous S phones.

Try Textra and see if it behaves the same way.

Didn't work with Textra and changing the security lock type. Seems like an OS thing instead?
