Getting used to a compact screen could be interesting. The S10e's screen is nice, but not very wide.

Was able to remap the Bixby button to Samsung Pay :D
That's a great idea actually. I enjoyed the double click the power button for Apple Pay on the iPhone XS. I don't need to remap it to Google Assistant because I like keeping the Google widget on my homescreen.

They don’t usually leave high value items with neighbours or in a safe place. That’s what my DPD app says for this delivery. You can pay to have it delivered within a certain time.

I know my DPD guy, so he does leave mine with a neighbour.

Is the screen protector that comes with it good enough to use with the fingerprint scanner?

For those with a S10 device, when you delete photos, do you get a pop up to move the photo to the trash? Is there a way to remove that pop up?

My husband seems to get along fine with it and the phone unlocks quickly for him with it on.

I don't have my own phone yet, as my order is on hold and backorder. But I've seen his phone's display with the protector on it and like every film protector on every OLED display I've ever seen, it produces a very fine grain effect. Some people won't notice this, but I do and find it makes annoying tiny sparkles. I'm ripping that film off as soon as I get the phone.

I was trying to evaluate the display to determine if it would aggravate my migraine problem the way the iPhone OLED does and I just couldn't get past that annoying grain that makes the OLED look like a bad LCD display. I did use film protectors on LCD displays for many years. Film on LCD does not produce the same sparkles and grain.

How is the Galaxy Watch experience compared to the Apple Watch?
Does S10+ have any kind of eye/face scanning vs only fingerprint?
Does Samsung have any sort of Apple like keychain that automatically enters your password for apps/websites?
Is there a texting app that works on a laptop sort of like the text app on a Macbook does?

These are possibly the biggest things I am concerned about in switching to the S10+ from the XS Max. I am sure there are more but the AW is at the top.

I am wanting to pull the trigger but also may wait for a price drop as that seems to happen pretty fast on Android phones. Also, any rumors on Pixel 4 announcement?

Did anyone get the prism blue by chance? Thinking of placing a last minute pre-order but that's the only color left available for T-mobile. It's not my favorite but with a case I don't think it will really matter.

Also, does anyone know if the e-certificate can be used on future phone purchases or is it accessories only?

It has face scanning but it can be fooled by a video of your face. No more iris scanning.

It has Samsung pass, I think. I only just started using Apple keychain myself so I can’t tell you much about it. 1Password works on my Pixel and my husband says it works on Samsung. I’ll leave someone else here who uses this feature more often to clarify for you. I used to memorize my passwords, which are impressively secure, but now middle age brain and the need to change passwords more frequently has forced me to start using these apps.

If you install Google messages app on your phone and go to messages.Android.com on you can get it all set up to synchronize your messages between phone and laptop.

What do you value most about Apple Watch features? The Galaxy watch is very good but for me as a small female it was not a graceful experience because the watches were bulky.

The S10 has facial recognition. It isn’t a secure as Face ID and can’t be used with Samsung pay but it works pretty well and is fast. You can have both the in display FPS and the facial recognition on at the same time.

Yes Samsung have Samsung pass. It saves all your log in details for websites and you can authenticate it with the in display FPS when you want to log into a web site.

I think there are some third party apps you can use to get your text messages (push bullet) on a computer. I think the new google messenger app actually has a desktop client now? There are also other apps like what’sapp which you can use on the computer.

My husband has prism blue. It’s beautiful but it’s not as deep dark navy blue as the S9 was. The sides are almost silver.

Or you can try Samsung Flow app which gives something similar to continuity on iPhone

Thank you both for the replies.

I mostly want notifications being pretty seamless, phone calls from the watch, and workout data as the primary reasons for the love of my AW.

I love Keychain and use it daily so I assume there is a comparison same on the Android side. Also, did anyone get headaches with the OLED iPhones? I get them consistently and curious if there would be anything different about the Samsung OLEDs. I thought I read that Samsung made the Apple panels.

Yeah for that usage will be the same on the galaxy watch

I read a very sarcastic post by @Shanghaichica in another thread. Really enjoying the temperamental and nutty posters this new phone has brought out of the woodwork. Some people ought to sod off. That said, yes, @Shanghaichica, the new Google Messages does have computer handoff. I didn't find it fast, but I also tested it a very long time ago.

The only usefulness I get out of Knox is to secure down folders with critical files in them. In my case, PDFs. For password keychain management, I prefer LastPass or DashLane.

Google messages handoff works fantastic for me. They sync perfectly.

I have been really trying to love my Galaxy S10 for a full day that I have had it but the Google assistant integration has been a nightmare. OK Google works sometimes but every few hours I have to restart my phone to get it to work again. Also, it will not start playing music automatically when I say OK Google play Pink Floyd from spotify. It only opens up the app but does not start playing the music. Maybe I am missing something. Any suggestions?

So the metal on the sides are colored based on the color of the phone? I thought the only difference in the S10 and Plus colors were the back panel and that the sides and fronts off all colorways were identical.

Damn. I saw in a video that the S10E has the ultra-wide lens and now I kind of want one. Somebody save me from the depths of phone-switching hell. I assumed it has the standard wide and telephoto lens, but knowing it has the ultra-wide instead of the telephoto makes it that more appealing to me personally. I've been waiting for an ultra-wide lens forever. The flat display obviously is a huge plus in my book as well.

I'd be interested to see how the 1080p OLED is as far as crispness, compared to my XR.

All that said though, I don't think I could ever experience something better than my current setup of iPhone XR, 2018 iPad Pro 12.9" and Series 4 Apple Watch that would be as fulfilling for my needs.

You tried just holding down the on screen home button?
