the freebies were trash in the UK for the note line...and lack of colours. One that that winds me up about Samsung. Keep it consistent everywhere.
 
I got no problem paying up to $2000 for a flagship phone, if that's where the industry goes. But as I've been saying for awhile, that phone batter be superior in hardware in almost every way, compared to other phones in the industry. Any OEM that gives, what they call a flagship device, the minimal amount of RAM, Storage, etc...can shove it, if they ask for more $$$ than what other OEMs are asking for with a lot more hardware. We're at a point in the mobile industry where the software experience is great among the top players. So Samsung giving freebies like the Galaxy Buds is all gravy on a very solid package.

I am pretty annoyed that the Ultra is rumored to only come with 128 GB when the note set the bar at 256 GB.

Once we are talking $1300 I don't want any corners cut at all.

This time around its diffrent. S20 will be very special for too many reasons as we know it. S20 will have some advantages over Note10 if the rumored specs are implemented.

I know Samsung won't disappoint us so lets see if s20 is going to kill Note 10.

S20+ doesn't get the 108mp main shooter either.

I honestly would go with the + as well if it weren't for that.

I think that making the ultra so much better on the camera front, will earn them a lot of blowback, since most will not want to buy a phone with a inferior camera at such a high price point

That and the sheer size of the Ultra. I would prefer the S20+ as well just for the size...but will order the Ultra to get all the features.
Wish the S20+ had the same camera features as the Ultra.
 
Does make me chuckle how fickle we phone lovers are.
The iPhone die hards are here again despite vowing never to return to Samsung :D.

I personally have no interest in these devices as I've tried Samsung and I just can't get along with them. Yet I've dabbled with every one since S9 even after saying the same thing each time so I will likely have one in hand on release before running back to my Pixel 4 shortly after. :D

maybe it's just me but those wanting the ultra I would just wait for the note 20....many who do this and get the ultra will be selling it in a matter of 3-4 months to get the note 20...samsung are very impressive though in the sense you have users who have iPhones saying they made a mistake going Samsung and soon went back to suddenly getting tempted again....even though they know deep down the same will happen again. Samsung hardware specs make it so hard to say no

I am not sure the Note 20 will have that much over the S20 Ultra to be honest.
It will have the same camera for sure. But what else can it offer? More space? More ram? larger device?
I think I will like the rounded corners on the S20 versus the sharper corners on the Note line.


Some of us that were tempted by other phones never went all the way back :p.
I use my Android phone much more than my iPhone. But then I am not immersed into the Apple ecosystem...by design.

That’s what I mean though there won’t be much difference size from the pen so I think they should make the note the ultra and keep the plus as ultra option. Seems pointless having ultra then note later but I guess they do it to keep people interested later in the year which I get...

Wish I could have both...iPhone will always be my daily driver but which I could justify the ultra or note as my 2nd phone. Maybe if I wasn’t married ha

Still always excited when Samsung do bring new phones out...this thread helps keep me in the loop and seeing people’s thoughts is always good when they get the phones etc
