What girly colors. Why Samsung?

I swear if LG has that G9 in only light colors for T-Mobile, I'll yell at them on Twitter. Not that it would do any good but that blue and pink? I only want to see that in the baby aisle, not on a phone. Just my opinion.

I liked the Aura Glow but I think they're trying to look more premium this time around. Gotta admit the specs look great but I just got the Pixel for about $500 less than the Ultra is going to cost, and I'm assuming the overall experience won't feel $500 different.

What experience ? The ultra is not even born yet let alone compare it with a pixel. First... feel, touch , see and experience the Samsung ultra then you can make up your mind.

Are most people getting the Ultra?

I have to say, I like the way colors pop on these Samsung devices. IPhone I know tries to be true to life but it's just not going to catch eyes. Even their screens are so obviously different in color, so the cameras would be too. I'm struggling to enjoy this Pro Max as much as I should be.

The PPI is just so low on it. The screen is overly warm. Colors are dull. I'm used to my LG G8 ThinQ. I can't imagine going from a Note 10 to an iPhone. It would be like going from normal vision to being colorblind.
Lol I do it daily! I can’t say it affects me much.

I’m definitely going to hold out for the note later in the year. Last few years I’ve bought the s line but always end up getting rid for the note. I’m gonna see what trade in deal Samsung has at launch, if it’s not too great I’ll get the next note when the usual reduction offers start later on

I still really like my note 10+ so going to hold onto that for now
I don’t like the rounded display on the S series and I want to keep the S Pen so I also will hold out for the Note.

I might have considered trading my Pixel 3XL in for a small S20 but they don’t really have anything small enough. I don’t know. I’ll take a look when we get closer to the big day.

I’m not trading my Note10+ in that’s what I know for sure.

I'm struggling to accept the S20+ at 1199. That's insane

Same here. It is either Ultra or nothing for me personally. But this pricing blows my mind.
I will pass if this holds true.

Unless... they give me upwards of $600 for my S10 on trade. Then I’m still not sure....

Yeah even that isn’t very enticing. After tax, you’re still paying $860’ish.

Really.... I’m good with not getting the Ultra or any of the S20 variants. My Pixel 4 XL and 11 Pro Max combo is pretty tight.

Imagine what the Note 20 will cost if this pricing is correct!!!

It’s really too bad. If this trend continues with other companies, I’m going to start looking at the 2nd tiers going forward. Love my 11 Pro Max, but if my top tier choices are all $1300+, I’m out.

In Canada, I paid $3000 for my two Note 10+. You guys in the USA got it good with prices. Lol. But yes, prices are getting up there. Although, freebies and trade-in deals should soften the blow. That being said, the sales numbers point to the iPhone and Galaxy flagships as the main players. And the iPhone has always been priced higher. So, if this is the price of the Ultra, I hate to think what the next iPhone will cost, while most likely offering so much less in hardware. 🙄

Haha yeah what I mean though is that all the new sensors and megapixels won't mean much if they didn't address the software processing. I'm hopeful they did because Galaxy devices are awesome but their cameras are far behind the iPhone 11 Pro and Pixel.
Yet in mkbhd's blind camera test the Note 10 beat out both of those phones. My point is it's very subjective.
