I need to stay strong lol

What’s dangerous is that Samsung devices have been the closest to getting me away from iOS for more that a day. I tried the Pixel 4 recently and liked it but just too many small drawbacks and it didn’t stick. Last time I had the Note 10 I had it for a month and a half and moving back to iOS was more of an impulse that has since sticked. That’s why if the camera software processing and face smoothing and all that annoying stuff is fixed, this could be dangerous.

The hardware of Samsung is so hard to resist...but I will not be fooled this year lol

I hadn't paid attention recently but I assume you ended up going with option A in your poll re: Pixel vs. iPhone haha? I can't believe how far resale prices have fallen on the Pixel 4 / XL. I don't recall it being this much this fast with the Pixel 3.

I am so curious about the S20, if Samsung offers $500+ on trade in of the Pixel I may do it.

Embargo has lifted. Videos and hands are all on YouTube. MKBHD said the Ultra is $1399, S20 $999, and S20+ $1199... wow. Not sure I can even go $1200 for the S20+. let's see what these are about...

These prices are ridiculous. I’m planning to buy a new laptop for myself and my budget is $1,500 or under. I couldn’t imagine spending that much for a phone.

Yep. Watching the unpacked event, as usual they show most the new features that most won't even use. Similar to all those gizmos they showed off with the launch of note 10 + line. But thank God they kept SD card.

£1399? Yeah nobody will buy these at all...apart from techies on here of course. Looks fantastic but no the market will not pay that money...

The prices are crazy, but the value of Galaxies depreciates quickly, so in a few months, it’ll be $400+ cheaper.

yep, crazy. even with rumors, I knew the Ultra would probably be out but now the S20+ may be out...

"The $1000 smartphone is no longer cause for sticker shock: meet the $1400 smartphone, your new "wow" benchmark. That's the price of Samsung's Galaxy S20 Ultra, the range-topping superphone Samsung hopes will one-up Apple in the ongoing battle for Crazy Expensive Phone dominance.

Samsung's other two S20s, the S20 and S20+, aren't cheap, either: the S20 will be $1000, and the S20+ comes in at a still-pretty-eye-watering $1200. Everything about these phones is super-sized: the prices, the rear camera clusters, the 5G support (more on that in a minute), the batteries, and really, the phones themselves. Let's start with that, shall we?"
