I'd kind of like this $1,400 camera to do that for me.
Cameras get WAY more expensive than $1400....hell a lens is easily more than that.
The phone is $1400, and the camera within it cost Samsung ~ $110 out or ~$550 to make. Assuming the 3x markup as we see on the phone, the camera is ~= a $330 camera. I think people need to realize this.
Smartphone pictures, combined with computational photography, render pictures that are typically unnatural for a real camera. You just don't get photos where everything is in focus with a later of hdr applied. Hell...your eyes don't work that way either, though you brain helps you there.
The ultra camera needs some updates, but it functions ways more like a traditional camera. It seems that that is now considered weird on the age of Instagram and ML based photography.
