I can probably contest it and be able to return it under warranty but here in Brazil it's a bit of a hassle to return a device and get a refund. By law we have 7 days of no question asked return policy when buying a gadget online. But I've had a phone for 9 days already. Why can't you return it?
It should be under warranty.
Wow your consumer protection law is practically non existent there. Is your device a Snapdragon or Exynos? I haven't tried to make long videos yet.I can probably contest it and be able to return it under warranty but here in Brazil it's a bit of a hassle to return a device and get a refund. My husband uses that app and hasn't had any problems. However he only reads and doesn't try to post or comment or interact in any way. Are your problems happening when you try to actually do anything?Has anyone had issues using the reddit app lately? On my ultra the app is unusable most of the time. It just stutters, hangs, and shuts itself down.
It's actually does exist. The procedure itself would look like this: get in touch with their customer service. Then send the device to them for analysis. Later in a case of confirmed faulty performance of the device they inform the customer about a refund procedure. They always refund in the same way the item was purchased. Which in my case was a one time charge on a credit card. But that's a thing. I do not want a credit on my cc. I'll have to spend that credit on something else again. The whole process would probably take around 20 days or so. Long process it's true but it does exist and actually works. Whereas when I lived in US I loved 30 days return policy. Wish they had that in Brazil. P.S. I'm actually not a Brazilian. ;-)) Just a foreigner residing in South America.Wow your consumer protection law is practically non existent there. I had no issues until a few days ago. I'll try another app.No, I've always thought the official reddit app was pretty horrible. I use Boost and have never had any problems.
If you do please let me know. Even if you record a full HD video for more than 15 min. Would love to know what your experience would be like.Yep, what a hassle.
To be frank, I've never recorded 4k for that long, do no idea what mine would do they used to limit 4k to 10 minutes due to heat.
I honestly wouldn't record that long lol, I think my record is less than 5 minutes. If you do please let me know. Even if you record a full HD video for more than 15 min. Would love to know what your experience would be like.
Boost is far and away the best reddit app.No, I've always thought the official reddit app was pretty horrible. I use Boost and have never had any problems.
Thanks. I measured the temperature via app called "CPU Monitor". And used a digital infrared thermometer as well. This way I could pinpoint exact temperature.
If you like the cost savings, form factor, and don’t need in particular to have super duper zoom or the higher end display specs, it might be a nice upgrade for you. But maybe any possible deals you could get on the S20+ would be worthwhile to consider, too. I just don’t know about how Exynos worked in that model. I forgot what I read. Lol I can only hold so much information in my old brain.Kinda wondering whether I should go for the S21+ rather than the Ultra. The heating issues bother me, and the idea of a flat screen is very appealing. It's only fractionally smaller than the Ultra, and... do I really need all those cameras?
Hmmm! This is coming from an S9+, so the S21+ would be a pretty good upgrade anyway.
So the S20+ is actually better than the S21+ in some ways, like the display? If you like the cost savings, form factor, and don’t need in particular to have super duper zoom or the higher end display specs, it might be a nice upgrade for you. I only use the official app for their free high quality web hosting.
Well I can’t say for sure because I haven’t gotten to play with the S21+. But yeah the display I had on my S20 was sweeeeet. It was easier on my eyes than the one on my S21 Ultra. I just did not like the fingerprint sensor. It barely worked for me and the one on my S21 Ultra is fast and accurate. So the S20+ is actually better than the S21+ in some ways, like the display?
Yeah, I think you are right. Looks like I can get a very good deal on a Note 20 Ultra (for less than the S21+), so that might be the way to go!Well I can’t say for sure because I haven’t gotten to play with the S21+. It really depends on what kind of deal you can find on last year’s model. I guess what I’m saying is it’s worth your time to check out the online comparisons and the deals you can get on either of the models.
Normally I don’t look at year old models, but this time I think it may be worth checking around.
how you manage that? lolA couple of days ago I was in an unique position to exchange my Phantom Black 128gb S21 Ultra to a 512gb Phantom Silver model for only £40.
I went for it!
These are brand new unlocked and sim free handsets from a major electronics retailer. I am from the UK for context.
That’s a very well received model, but check comments and reviews on battery life if that’s a concern for you.Yeah, I think you are right. Looks like I can get a very good deal on a Note 20 Ultra (for less than the S21+), so that might be the way to go!
Yeah I've read a few threads, and watched a few videos. I think for my usage, I'll be fine. For all my concerns about wanting a great phone, I actually... don't use a phone much! It's really a glorified iPod for when I travel (which, of course, I don't do much of now thanks to the pandemic). But I do enjoy large, high-res screens, and I am after a good camera for casual photography. That’s a very well received model, but check comments and reviews on battery life if that’s a concern for you.
