Honestly your weather looks like mine in the eastern coastal region. The snow and ice hasn't hit yet but it's ridiculously dark here the last 2 days. Like a perpetual evening.

Yeah the camera is really impressing me so far. I'm getting the indoor family photos in crappy light that I wasn't getting before on Samsung phones. Though I do think my S9+ camera was good. But then Samsung went off the rails a bit until now.

Oh so far on the health and ergonomics front...I'm using the display on Natural, WQHD+ and the Adaptive variable refresh rate. So basically the best settings, and I don't notice any eye strain. It's early to claim "safe" from pwm effects but I haven't noticed anything concerning yet. I need some more days and better sleep to be sure. I also need to not be under a weird weather front, because if I do end up feeling weird, the poor sleep and weather can't be ruled out.

I can say I don't notice the weirdness I've felt on my OLED iphones, especially the 13 Pro.

I did have a very difficult time focusing on text when I had the display set to Standard 60hz. I don't know what to make of that, I'm just reporting what I'm experiencing.

Using the silicone case that has a strap running through it, I can hold the phone comfortably despite its bulk.

Yep this ice is no joke. It doesn't look like a winter wonderland, just looks like rain saturated roads. Walked out the the truck this morning without using caution and busted my @ss. Luckily there's plenty of cushion there and I was okay 😂

I just want to travel there and get to washing the truck lol .... although when weather permits ..haha

I’ll be glad for this weather to join y’all and leave us alone 😂 I don’t like the cold unless I’m skiing.

So far the shutter does seem ever so slightly faster than the S21U. That really has been my only complaint with the Samsung cameras going back to the N20U. I hate having to pick up an iPhone or pixel to take pics of the kids and dog. Looking forward to putting it thru it’s paces this weekend at my daughters cheer competition and around the house with the dog.

OK so I was trying to download some Amazon Prime videos. And I apparently have lost WiFi connection. I was going to check the router but apparently all my other phones and iPad are connected just fine.

Has anybody heard about any funny business going on with the wifi connections? I'm just checking to see if there's a known issue I missed for the Snapdragon version of the phone. I'll go reboot the phone.

Hi let me try to bump this question back for you since it got a bit buried. Maybe some U.K. folks here might know. In the US I think the carriers keep pace pretty well now. I’m not sure they have specific firmware in the US anymore because I’ve been on unlocked for a few years now.

Oh wow. I just watched a few minutes of a movie from Amazon Prime Video on highest download quality. The display was amazing quality. I unfortunately haven’t had the chance to look at the reviews posted today but if any rave about the quality of the display I’m going to have to second them. Wow.

Audio is not as amazing as I’ve heard on my iPhone 12 Pro Max last year. (That phone had the worst display for viewing movies, due to some kind of fault that Apple fixed.). But I often wear headphones when watching movies so to me the display is the focus of my appreciation.

I’m pretty excited about this phone. I’m kind of feeling sorry for my Pixel though. It’s as big but it’s getting outclassed a little so far.

There's a new update for the Exynos models that should fix the screen issues. I personally didn't have that issue to begin with and the device has worked pretty well for me for the past week or so.

I have 2 tickets open with Samsung. The first one is for the $250 credit I didn't get fully. I told them 2 cases does not equal $250.
When I get my phone they are going to let me pick more accessories.
The second ticket is for being charged for a phone I don't have. They will give me a $50 credit if I don't cancel. I was supposed to get this credit for pre ordering, which I didn't get.

So far im loving both my S22 Ultra and my Watch 4 Classic. The S22 Ultra is giving me great battery life so far. Yesterday i had the longest day, i was up at 4am, by the time i went to bed my battery was on 48%

As for the Watch 4, I'm getting use to having the round watch vs my Apple Watch. The health features are good and the battery life far exceeds my Apple Watch series 4.

When did you pick out the accessories usually you pick stuff up to the $250...while checking out on phone order ..Samsung site that is ...

Yes the online preorder process was a mess. And for some reason, they can’t seem to adjust orders without cancel/reorder even if you call in. Which isn’t a good alternative with all the production backlog.

Somehow my order went through with wrong watchband and I would have had to cancel to correct it. So they gave me $50 voucher to order different one.
