Speaker on the 13pro or 13promax absolutely superior to the S22U or ZFold2 or Zfold3. It is just much deeper, louder and fills a room.
Did you or do you own the Z devices? If the iPhone 13 Pro Max is indeed louder I may consider switching back again. I just wish they'd fix Whatsapp playback issue on iPhones. One of the reasons I've kept using Galaxy devices.

Hi all I've just received my s22 ultra exynos as I have the s21 ultra and I've been playing a few hdr videos from Netflix and YouTube and the s22 display is quite a bit duller and less bright I've played with the setting etc and it's still noticeably dim compared to my s21 ultra is this something to do with software etc?

I do...own the ZFold3 now...had the Zfold2 at one point. The speaker on the 13pros are better..hands down. The zfold is an amazing piece of tech though. always about compromises.

Well that ain't right... WTH.. I feel some discrimination here
Yeah...starting in 2022, their new models starting supporting it. But I have 2 2019 models...they have not confirmed that an update will support. So I have old school bluetooth integration only. It is the main reason I keep an iphone, even while trying out all the new Samsung Android phones. torn....

I hear you... I guess at the end of the day it's not the worst thing in the world... Especially with the auto prices now upgrading trucks and cars is not a good time right now LOL... I'd rather carry the two phones

The speaker on my 13 PM is louder, and clearer compared to the Fold 3 and S22 Ultra!

I'm just more into headset and ear buds... Other than for a ringtone not too many times that I'm listening to my phone through the speakers... If it's not connected to the car stereo or my headset or if I'm talking on the phone it's always through earbuds..

Is adaptive brightness on or off?

Oh I didn't realize... Hopefully it's something that can be resolved... Screen plenty bright to me but I'm sure you can see better with the side by side comparison

Found a quick way to share notes/images between my Ultra and iPhone. I use OneNote, and I have the side button on my S-Pen programmed to open up OneNote, and the OneNote app on my iPhone updates extremely quickly once I write/attach anything to the app on my Ultra. Really nice. This will great for class notes.

The Ultra is the nicest phone I've ever used. My iPhone feels so pale in comparison. In the year 2022, the Ultra is what a smart phone should be.

I received my phone earlier than the original March 2nd date, that went to March 18, then March 25. After that phone call I made, they rushed to ship it, it seems. I guess since he saw that the charge had been on my card for 10 days already.
I received it yesterday, so I’m slowly playing around with it. It’s a beautiful phone, but them again I think all Samsung flagship phones are IMO. I’ll get my s or v flip case Thursday.

The stand part is very strong. Way better than the spigen one I have on my Pixel. It's a nice case but they could have added some extra plastic around the bigger three lenses. I'll always put it face down anyway, and today I'm getting a film from Amazon to protect the front from scratches.

Congrats looking good there..

My battery still seems to be draining kind of fast but I have the same issue with every phone the last few years so I think it's just due to living in a bad zone for AT&T service.

One thing I've noticed dealing with doctors lately is if you have an iPhone you're kind of golden child to them because they will just say "Oh let's FaceTime" That's come up a few times now and today the doctor wants to video conference with me about my child's newly diagnosed mostly benign condition (we just aren't getting a break lately...had a veterinary emergency a few weeks ago, too) but the crazy thing is I wasn't even told how this video conference was to take place. I thought everyone Zooms these days so it's going to be that. Then I thought oh crap, I don't know how to do zoom since I haven't set my PC up for that. And this is one of those rare days my husband went to the office in town and I have no idea how to use his computer.

Well I worried for nothing because the conference is via FaceTime. But they just took it for granted I have an iPhone to do FaceTime on. It went down like "Oh yeah of course it's FaceTime." That was the pediatricians office. But it's the same with my own doctor, too.

Fortunately I do have the ability to FaceTime. But it just seemed weird to me that where I live, at least, it's automatically assumed everyone is on iPhone. People really do freak out a little if you hit them with a green bubble, too.

Meanwhile I've been taking SPen notes left and right on my Ultra and thinking this would be the ultimate device and the one I could totally switch to...except apparently it's an iOS world and I'm just living in it.

Oh well I'm totally going to rock the fact I have two phones going. Well I have my Pixel as well. I am going to record the video conference on my Note. Yeah I know I know. It's not a Note. Except it IS a Note.

And the conference itself will be on my iPhone. Heck I may even record it on my Pixel so it can transcribe the whole thing. I haven't tried that feature yet. Why not. May as well go crazy with it all.

So far I haven't found anything I dislike about the Ultra. Other than it can't integrate into the iOS world of communication. If FaceTime and imessages were separate cross platform apps I could take the plunge. But I have to stay in both worlds.
