Just downloaded the July update, in the UK and on the S22 Ultra (Exynos).

The one thing that continues to amaze me about this phone, is the zoom capability. I have taken pictures at 10x, 20x and even at 100x (the 100x was of the moon), all pictures have been great. My iPhone 13 Pro Max cant do 100x, in fact it can only go to 15x and even at that, its picture quality isn’t as good as my S22 Ultra.

I wonder what Samsung will do with the S23 Ultra in order to push the cameras even further? As far as I’m concerned they are already great. The only thing that i would like from the S23 Ultra, is better battery life, iPhone 13 Pro Max level battery life would be awesome.
They really need to improve battery life and skin tones. Pixel still blows others out the water with accurate skin tones. They really need faster shutter speed as well. It’s improved but behind the competition

I’ve noticed over the last few days that my S22 Ultra is eating my mobile data, I normally top up and have 1GB of data for the month (using only about 500mb). However in 3 days my S22 Ultra has eaten through that all

My iPhone 13 Pro Max NEVER eats that much data. Have i done something wrong here?

That's probably not your S22 Ultra, that's an app mostly that has gone rogue.

Apple Music did this to me on iPhone a couple years back... running in the background it added up to be something like 5GB of data.

I’ve gone into settings now and turned off apps from using data in the background. There’s no way that much mobile data should of been used, especially when on my iPhone it didn’t do that.

Strong s22 line sales

I can see why, the S22 Ultra is the best smartphone Samsung have made so far. Let's put it this way, if an Apple fanboy such as myself can switch to the S22 Ultra and love it, that alone says a lot.

I have beeb using my S22 Ultra more and more over the past week, to the point where i now leave my iPhone on the bedside table, along with my Series 4 Apple Watch. The first devices i reach for when waking up, are now my Galaxy Watch 4 and my S22 Ultra. I don't know if it's due to an update, but my Ultra is lasting all day on a single charge. Yesterday i took it off charge at 4:30am, by the time i put it on charge at 9pm, it was on 9% battery.

The only thing I'm reluctant to do it add my cards to Samsung Pay, i don't know why but i feel like it's less secure than Apple Pay. I think it's probably because i've been so use to using Apple Pay for so long.

Ugh… this is thing is staring at me. Do I dare open it? Haha.

I bought a 22 Ultra from a guy at work yesterday, it is the version from Samsung. This thing is so damn nice and first time I have seen one in person. I am really wanting the Pixel 6 Pro but I figured I could probably trade this for a Pixel and some cash if I decided to get rid of it. I can’t wait to try the camera out on this thing. He has the watch that Samsung gave away with purchase I could probably get for 75 if I wanted from him

He wasn’t sure what exact model it was but it is 44mm he thinks, or the bigger version

Did anyone trade in their S21+ for the S22 Ultra? I don't know how I feel about trading in phones a year after I bought the original, but I'm starting to wonder if storage is an issue. I bought the phone with 128 GB of storage and now I think that might not be enough. I guess it's not a big deal as I am not near 128, but I think I made the mistake of not going higher storage.

Just my US$0.02, but the only way I can see justifying purchasing a Samsung flagship phone is to upgrade every year.

Samsung has historically had very good trade-in values for their year old devices. Typically they are higher than what you can get off of Swappa. After a year though they drop off rapidly.

On the Ultra what mode do y’all use for pics? I see the 108mp mode then there are a few different formats like 3:4 through full.

Anyone here can please post a photo of their bottom of the phone? Although my phone has been in a case, there are tiny whitish marks on the bottom of the phone out of nowhere. And a small paint chip on the camera. So thats another thing to look out for.

Some photos for reference
