We have a married couple we sometimes travel to places with. They are supper nice and fun and we all have similar interest so everyone gets along great.
But they are Apple super fans. The love love everything about Apple. They have just about every Apple product in their homes from Apple Tv, HomePod, lighting controlled by Siri. They have iMacs, MBA, MBP, iPads, AW, iPhones.

Thye really really LOVE Apple kinda like rabid fans lol

We have seen them in a hotel lobby using their iPhones then switch to an iPad...then reach in a bag and pull out an MBA to reply to emails. Its crazy...we all kid them they are the exact customers Apple envisions.
Thye think its a complement too! :)
They will even not reply to my texts if they show up GREEN! lol

So yes people can actually love a company....
As an Apple shareholder, I can appreciate people like that. As a tech lover, I think it's unfortunate, but my wallet loves it lol.

wait people actually thought these were real? it's all Ai based. It's taking the photo and enhancing it you only have to look at how bad 100x looks on other subjects.

Yeah I have posted many times across MR that I thought this is exactly what is going on, because I could never get even halfway decent detail on other subjects using my S22 Ultra. On my S23 Ultra details are better.

But both take exactly the same quality of moon pictures. I can’t tell which phone camera took which moon picture without looking at the data.

I think Huawei was directly substituting stored moon photos for user-taken photos. If Samsung is reapplying textures as part of AI, I’m not surprised nor disappointed. I hope they make a filter to add little moon men!

Can I ask a small favor of anyone who has the S23+? I changed the minimum width under the animations setting in developer settings to play with font sizes / density and forgot what the default value is. If someone would kindly take a look in their developer settings and let me know I'd appreciate it!

It's not true. A S23 hater is making up stuff on Twitter that is known to always do this.

Anyone using a case that doesn't dig into your hand when using it?
I like the Spigen Ultra Hybrid with Magsafe ring. Feels very comfortable to me and I love having the magnet as well. I do have large hands but I don't feel that it digs into my hand at all.

I don't buy the fake moon pics, and if they are, they're doing it in different conditions and have been for years.

Does this mean fake bokeh means fake photos too?

They’re not fake, per se. It’s that the AI has a stored library of moon image data that it can use to “clean up” any image the software identifies as “the moon”. That’s different than Huawei actually replacing user images with its stored images. It’s not so far different than how Google uses its vast archive of images to extract data that go into all the computational algorithms that its software uses to clean up and enhance images of other common subjects.

Yeah its so much BS really all this fake picture rhetoric. Like saying if you use Googles Magic Eraser are all the pictures fake then? AI removed an object and filled it from the backgroup image.
Or just insert and type of picture enhancement people sue to make pictures look better. It doesn't mean the pictures are fake.

Scary movies will get to you. 😂 Lol

I like scary movies to a degree. Sometimes they are just jump scares and I don't like that or they are just too twisted. But some can be really good.

That animal sounds a little scary. Specially the fact it gets more aggressive when you make noise. I don't know where you live or how rural the area is but maybe you could have your husband take a look just to make sure it is nothing serious? Under the floor boards it could be something harmless like. Possum or squirrel but it could also be a badger or wolverine depending on where you live. Most animals retreat at loud noises. I am sure you can take care of yourself and I am not trying to scare you. I just come from the mantra better to be safe than sorry and to visually verify any threats. But that is me.

I am still dealing with Boost and have no idea when they are going to get their systems functioning again. They have their payment system sorted but if you want to makes changes to your account or leave you are out of luck. I image they are going to have a huge migration of people leaving because of the issues they have experienced. A lot of people didn't have service or got cancelled due to non payment even though they couldn't make a payment.

I can understand a few hours and at worst a few days but two weeks with no account access is a bridge too far even for me. There price was good and there cell reception was good but I can't even reach a person. All you get is a pre-recorded message and then it hangs up. No updates or any timeline on when things will be fixed.

I am using the Boost sim card in the s23u for now. If by the end of the month they haven't generated a port out pin for me then I will use another carrier for a month just to get another phone number. Then I will port that number into Fi so that I still qualify. If I don't port a number into Fi I will be charged $600.

It sucks because I am paying for the line on Fi but I can't actually use it. If I don't keep paying for Fi I will lose the discount. If I don't port the number by a specific date I will lose the discount. It will all get sorted out in the end but it is just frustrating right now.

I will let you know what happens in the end.

I like watching movies on the s23 ultra so far. Have you adjusted the dolby Atmos, played with the eq and adapt sound settings? I was able to get better sound than default by tweaking them a bit.

Enjoy sleeping in. Sounds like you deserve a rest! 🛌😴
I didn’t adjust any sound settings yet. I love watching movies on my phones and on my KindleFire (surprisingly good for that purpose) because I like to watch with captioning on. My hearing is ok but dialogue can often sound garbled. Actors mumble their lines way too often! Also I can yell at the characters to my hearts content: “Are you crazy, don’t stick your head out NOW, the monster is still…oops…eww…oh well.”

We don’t have badgers or wolverines here in my particular area but we have skunks. They don’t seem to be permanent residents, thank goodness. I almost pet one once, thinking it was a feral cat I knew. 🤣. Fortunately it was a very understanding skunk!

It used to be the feral cats and a family of groundhogs under there. It’s possible it’s a raccoon now. For most of the years we lived here we had just one huge one who covered a large territory. He must have died. These triplets showed up. Then it was down to two, and now one.
