Finally! With OneUI 5.1.1 coming soon and this OneUI 6.0 in a few months has me all excited about owning a Galaxy Phone.

  • Keep pop-up windows open: Instead of minimizing pop-up windows when you go to the Recents screen, pop-ups will now remain open after you leave the Recents screen so you can continue what you were working on.
Even though this seems minor... but I use the Pop-Up window often, looking forward to testing this.

So, I have long since sold my S23 Ultra. I won’t bore any of you with the details other than saying I really don’t like One UI. For me personally (remember this) it’s messy, a little ugly and it’s full of features that I don’t use / am not interested in. However, the One UI 6 piqued my interest… Grabbed the small S23 today. One UI 6 + Android 14 is installing now. Anyone have any questions or things you’d like to see?

I have had S23U for about a month now, but the longer I have it, the more I want back to IPhone, I can't even pinpoint a specific reason, other than iOS.. I just miss the colors, the feel of it and the whole esthetics..
So I am thinking of switching but I am worried I would regret it later, even though I am not using the S pen at all, and that the camera is better on the S23U..

What should I do?

From where are you planning on buying?

If I do the switch, probably Best Buy, as they have the S23 Ultra down to $949 fir the 256GB 12GB version, and offering $800 trade-in for my Pixel 7 Pro.

So if that deal is still active this week, might do it.

Oh nice The only thing I was thinking was if you wanted to test drive it for a couple of weeks I think Best buy lets you try for 14 days and if you return it before the 14th day you only pay $45 restocking fee used to be but if you're trading in the pixel phone then that would not help in this situation..

I’d probably keep the S23 Ultra if you’re just missing aesthetics. It sounds like you’re still appreciating the practical features of the s23 Ultra. At least keep it until the new iPhones are out and you can upgrade the camera from what is currently available on iPhones.

Oh I did not know that? I can test drive it before trading in my Pixel 7 Pro? Best Buy will give me 2 weeks?

Sorry, didn’t mean to confuse things, but only if you’re buying the phone not if trade in because they will take your phone on sale this way ..I meant if you wanted to try the phone out solo without trade-in

Thanks, makes sense.

So I can purchase the S23 Ultra myself at Best Buy, and just hold onto the receipt and everything I get, and would have 14 days to return it.

Or if I want to do the trade-in with my Pixel 7 Pro, that has to happen at the same time I get the S23 Ultra, and no return option really?

In my opinion if you’re down with spending the extra $45, I would just go to BestBuy and buy the phone. I’m not sure if you have a BB card just throw it on the card or any other credit card …test drive the phone for 13 days and then decide..if you don’t like it okay it cost you $45 …if you like it return the phone and buy it again with trade in…

I do have BB card, haven't touched since last year. So might be best to go that route.
