It is such a bad move on their part. They don't do that for the iPad USB C cables. So the only reason to do it for the iPhone is a strict money grab....Every time I think there’s no way I could ever leave Apple, stories like this come out.

absolutely hate that. Of course, we're talking about the company that charges £150 for a thunderbolt cable, £50 for a pretty standard usbc charging cable (and that's before we talk about a £5000 monitor that comes without a stand and they want £1000 for the official stand)
I mean there's "premium" and then there's just insane....
FedEx emailed me that my package is picked up today for 2/15 delivery, but it's 2/14 delivery per Samsung email. I guess it would be 2/14 since it's 2-day delivery. I'm in CA.
Sorry to hear that. I’ve never tried to use Smart Switch between IPhone and Samsung, just Samsung to Samsung. Please keep us posted on how it all turns out.

For anyone deciding on the exclusive colours, this YT video shows them all unboxed. Non-english language but a decent show case.
My Fold4 is beige with gold so I wanted to go back to a dark tone on the S23 Ultra. If I hadn't gone for Phantom Black this year, Graphite or Green would be my choice. Sky Blue looks stunning but I'd prefer black edges like the S22 Ultra Sky Blue. Red is more salmon than fire red again. Lime looks unusual, with black edges that would pop!

Ha thanks, I had like 180 followers before these camera comparisons and now close to 500 so it just be getting some attention. The votes so far for this year is double than what I was getting before
Just got a shipping notification from FedEx! Delivery is scheduled for 2/13! Also my Tab S8 arrived yesterday, too! Having a fun time tinkering with that and learning how Android is on a tablet. Been a while and I’m loving the S Pen!
Still messing with setting this thing up. smart switch didn’t give me any option for which app data to transfer (not like the videos I’ve seen online) and then after taking ages it looks like it only transferred 30 days of messages, notes (which I didn’t need) and calendar entries (which I didn’t need as already in google). No what’s app. So now trying an app called wutsapper. Feeling a bit deflated, hoping once this is sorted I can actually enjoy the phone as currently it’s frustration more than anything else. Haven’t even got onto setting up the watch yet
have to let me know what you think of the tab s8! if I stick with android, I'll be wanting one of those for sure

Loving my Tab S8 Ultra after nearly a year. My iPad Pro gets very little use these days. I leave it plugged in in my media room to control all my media devices and that's about it. The Tab S8 series is fantastic.
I feel like I’ve only scratched the surface with its possibilities. I am diving deep in the software and really having a good time with it. I’ve found so many “oh that’s cool” features!
I did get a Samsung Tab S6 Lite free with my zflip4 but I must admit I haven't opened it yet... I guess it's a pretty cheapy tablet though compared to the s8

I have another account that is more for general news. There’s so much serious stuff going on in the world that I do follow. I’m not ignoring any of it. But I want to keep tech news my oasis in all of that. But I don’t mind sports or automobiles getting mixed in with it a bit. Somehow those fit together pretty nicely I think!

Don’t underestimate the charm of a cheapy tablet. I have had a wonderful winter holiday getting cozy by the Christmas tree, reading ebooks on my Kindle and watching shows on my Amazon Fire tablet. They’re very basic and can’t do many other things well but what they can do, I think they do well. I stay on task and focused with them and it helps they don’t seem to trigger my migraines, probably because the displays aren’t trying to be too much and do too much.
