This is crazy how bad it's getting with trade INS ...we need to get Samsung involved more with taking responsibility for the service they are using for them trades ...
I think since they moved to a different 3rd party company the experience has changed. This is crazy how bad it's getting with trade INS ...we need to get Samsung involved more with taking responsibility for the service they are using for them trades ...
If I'm not mistaken, you can't really argue the weight of the package to Samsung since it's a prepaid package... there's no weight to factor in.Are you able to see the weight of the package on FedEx? Mine is 1.5 pounds so if Samsung tries the same **** with me, I'm going to use that as additional proof.
For me, I received an email from Samsung on a Saturday that the trade in was received... when in reality it was on Friday since the tracking number indicated the package was delivered. How long after Samsung received your trade in did you get an answer? Just wondering how long I need to be in eggshells for lol
That's the "issue" that Samsung says isn't an issue lolI think my s23 ultra has the odd lamination issue on the bottom right corner but it is hard to see. You have to shine a bright light, have the screen off and angle it so you can see it.
I would rather it be perfect but honestly if I can't see it when I use the screen and it doesn't distort the image then it is not a big issue.
Ok thanks! Not yet but they should be receiving it today. So guessing Friday or SaturdayFor me, I received an email from Samsung on a Saturday that the trade in was received... when in reality it was on Friday since the tracking number indicated the package was delivered.
Tuesday, midnight... I received an email the trade in was successful. 1k trade in, I was relieved lol. But some took 3+ days... have Samsung sent you a received email?
I'm glad to hear that you are still keeping it. Must have been a tough decision because I already am fired up about a potential issue and I haven't even experienced one lol. I just checked in mine is going to Tennessee so that has me feeling a bit better.Well everyone is aware of my Samsung trade in saga. When thery said I had a cracked display....i told them to send my S22U back. It will arrive tomorrow. BTW my S22U was perfect and not had a mark on it.
I decided to keep the S23 Ultra. It is by far the best overall Android phone I have had...and I have had a LOT of Android phones to date.
I will sell the S22U when it comes back tomorrow and get more for it than samsung was going to give me for it anyway.
But I am concerned that samsung has not corrected the whole trade in fiasco in texas as the trade in sent to their Tennessee site has not had all the complaints texas has had.
You should be safe with the trade in going to Tennessee. I have heard of any complaints from that location.I'm glad to hear that you are still keeping it. Agreed with you though. This is by far the best Android phone I've ever used. I cannot believe how stable Android has gotten. It just works lol
Yep, in Malaysia and Thailand you agree trade in online and get all the discounts etc but a guy physically comes to your door and does the final inspection and takes your trade in after you have received your new phone from SamsungWow, it’s always scary reading these package/mail theft, especially in a developed country. I’m just glad we seem to be doing a better job here in Indonesia. For trade ins, a courier will come with the new phone in a brown package, and I gave to the person my phone. The courier checks it, scan the IMEI, give my my new phone (which he doesn’t know what phone is inside), and that’s it. Seems simpler.
So the Tennessee location has not had any issues? I had pretty much decided to hold on to my trade in and sell it or just hold on to it and give to one of the kids. But if TN is safe I might go ahead and send it in. Crazy, I'm just a few miles from the Coppell return center but my label actually has TN on it.Well everyone is aware of my Samsung trade in saga. There is a couple of threads over on Android Central about the S23 trade ins. Just aboput everyone that went to Coppell has had some kind of issues. But so far no trade ins going to Tennessee has reported any issues. So the Tennessee location has not had any issues? Makes me think that maybe everyone should just call the police in that city and tell them that their items are being damaged, stolen, or that they are trying to commit fraud. There is a couple of threads over on Android Central about the S23 trade ins. Trade In Thread
If Samsung tries charging your cards and you have evidence videos to prove otherwise start a fraud claim with your cards if cant get them to correct the issue. Sent from my Pixel 7 Pro using Tapatalkforums.androidcentral.com
Beware Samsung Trade Ins
My husband's TMobile trade in processed with zero issues. My Samsung trade in made it to Tennessee yesterday so . Hopefully no hassles - I forgot to take pictures but my phone looked brand new when I popped off the WSD screen protector and took off the case. Wiped it down and shipped...forums.androidcentral.com
another option is to file a small claims case in local court. That way Samsung has to hire a local lawyer to go to court. this would end up costing them more than the $155 they seem intent on charging everyone lol.Makes me think that maybe everyone should just call the police in that city and tell them that their items are being damaged, stolen, or that they are trying to commit fraud.
Developed country? Oh goodness. I guess we are? My mom was a little girl when her small Asian Pacific home was shredded apart by war so she truly knows undeveloped conditions. She spent her childhood in a wasteland. Compared to her, my childhood even in a neighborhood torn by gun and drug violence was privileged, so I wouldn't presume to rate my own country vs others. But I will heed her own alarmed observations over the decades she's lived here.Wow, it’s always scary reading these package/mail theft, especially in a developed country. I'm so glad to hear you're keeping your S23 Ultra. I would have understood and respected any decision you made. But this is a really fantastic phone.Well everyone is aware of my Samsung trade in saga. When thery said I had a cracked display....i told them to send my S22U back. It will arrive tomorrow. Boom move the sim back!bit of a revelation day for me really... I put my sim back in my iphone as I was going through a "miss apple" moment.... got bored of macos by lunchtime and was fedup with my iphone a little while later... somehow, it felt like I was forever swiping up and missing the back on the samsung.
dunno but I'm starting to think I've "evolved" ;-)
I haven't had the issue personally. Have you tried Game Booster at all? Not sure if that would do anything but just a thought.Anyone figured out how to eliminate audio delay with the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro when it comes to gaming? I only occasionally play Mariokart and noticed it. I've tried everything within the phone settings to no avail. Really disappointing, otherwise the Buds sound great.
I saw a suggestion to go into "Labs" setting within the Wear app and enable Game Mode. It helped to the point where it is acceptable now.I haven't had the issue personally. Have you tried Game Booster at all? Not sure if that would do anything but just a thought.
