They were in Euros. I wonder how much for us.
The unpacked app is on the App Store. Says 7 hours and 29 minutes. So I guess about 4 pm GMT.
Looks like I'll be at the gym / yoga when the event is on so I'll have to catch up on my return home this evening.
I'm excited to see it, but still far more interested currently in the G6 (and i suspect the G6 will fall in price faster than the S8 anyway).
I'm sure you all are going to go nuts though ....

Yeah I reckon in once it gets into Ireland it'll be more €849-899 for the S8 and €949-999 for the S8+

Considering i voted Leave i think it's a great day! I don't think the fact that the S8 is getting announced has anything to do with it tho

I'm just heartened that Samsung did provide a security update to my unlocked S7. I'm hoping they'll keep up their commitment to unlocked phones going forward, because the ability to change carriers is probably going to become even more important soon.

I'm surprised people want to catch the event live; don't they normally have the worst presentations?
Even tho I'm an iPhone guy I have to admit Samsung have stepped up their game in terms of design and the leaks that have come out show a really nice design. I will tune in to the event to see what Samsung announce. I think if there ever came a day where Samsung pulled an Apple and decided to make their own software and not use Andriod I would be very tempted with some of these designs.
Android has improved a lot, though. I'm getting more crashes and messes on the current release of iOS 10 right now, to be honest. I do hope once all the beta testing is done it goes back to being "old reliable" like I'm used to.
I'm going to be firmly fence-sitting for at least another two years. I like so much about both.
