How much battery drain do you guys get overnight?
I put my phone into airplane mode and switch off location. I still lose 4% over 8 hours. That seems a little steep? Most apps are set to deep sleep and the rest are set to sleep.

I think 4% over those hours is about right from my experience with Android phones ..

A few days ago I noticed 5% drain overnight, but I figured it was a lot of work notifications being pushed.

I leave mine in Airplane Mode overnight and don't use push email in order to save battery life. My old Android used around 2% of power and my Fold 4 uses double that. Not a deal breaker by any means but annoying when we have all the sleeping apps and the radios switched off.

That does seem odd. If the Fold is super new then could it have been indexing stuff in the background? Even with the AOD I don't expect drain overnight. I think on my Note 10+ it was only 1-2 % overnight, and that's with all radios on (not airplane mode).

How is the colour temperature of everyone's displays? My large display is pretty spot on, not too cool and not too warm but my smaller external display is most certainly on the cool blue side.

Decided to try the $80 Torras case. It is a terrible value but honestly is more comfortable to use and the S Pen is secure while also easy to remove. The raised volume buttons make it easy to distinguish the fingerprint sensor by touch. It is 20 grams (0.7 ounces) lighter since it lacks a kickstand. The back is flat and makes it possible to afix a Magsafe-compatible magnet for my car mount, or to use Magsafe kickstands.

The VRS case is still good overall but I realized I value the Magsafe compatibility over a built-in kickstand because I spent a lot on a MagBak mount for our Model Y and would like to keep using it. Plus the current Z Fold 4 car mount offerings don't seem compatible with the Tesla dash/vents.

They make some solid cases..I used to review them for them for various devices .. And they kept improving year to year..

I like Torras cases too and used them on two iPhones, but $80 for the Z Fold 4 version is a little ridiculous for two pieces of plastic. That said, the Torras one is the one I'm keeping.

Just received my Buds2 Pro (they were OOS at the time I picked up the Fold 4).

I really like my AirPods Pro but the buds actually seem more comfortable for my ears. Not only that, the buds are definitely more secure than the AirPod Pros ever were. My APP would often drop out of my ear while walking/runnimg/driving. I vigorously shook my head left and right and couldn't fling out the Buds2 Pro. Will do more listening later to see how they sound and to test the ANC.

Unfortunately I had to sell my Buds 2 Pro when they arrived unopened, as I'm one of a good few people that suffered ear irritation from Samsung Buds, this if you don't know been going on since the Buds Pro & the Buds 2 causing people ear infections in my case really itchy ear's, this has not changed with the Buds 2 Pro, it's down to either the materials they now use or the nickel within the buds, changing the tips didn't help neither.

All other brands of buds don't cause me or others this kind of problem, as I'm now using the Sony Linkbuds S without issues & have been for the past few months.

Not to make light of the matter but I chuckled while reading your post because I do experience itchy ears, just not due to the Buds. I have had itchy ears for years and go regularly to the doctor's office for professional ear cleaning. This all came about from my addiction to Q-tips. Anyways, no problems with Airpod Pros and hopefully the same from the Buds2 Pro. Sorry you had to return yours and am glad you found something better.

Upgraded the OG Flip to this beautiful beige ✨
Yup… beautiful indeed! I’m glad I went with this color… was choosing beige or that green grayish color, but something about beige stood out to me.

Curious to find out what’s your first impression when you get it up and running.

Another beige fan here too. Wish my case didn't hide the beautiful color so much. The back of the case is a frosted see-through but doesn't do the beige justice. Enjoy!

Yup! I'm on the no case team lol. Just recently purchased Care+... I took a gamble waiting it out to get the first 3 months free (my hope was to get it near Care+ ineligibility) and missed the opportunity. But it is what it is, as long as it's insured.

That's an interesting idea. What about S Pen, any need for it or do you carry it separately?

I would love to go caseless but I also love having the S Pen within east reach. I just ordered one of those round sticky magnets to afix to the back of the Torras case and now I can use my existing Magsafe car mount, or magsafe kickstands. However, the beige is pretty much all covered up and I don't get to enjoy that part of the phone.

I carry a backpack with me… so it goes in the bag when I’m out and about. I occasionally use the SPen… but majority of the time I’m interacting with the outer display when I’m out.

That’s understandable.

But whenever I sit or waiting… I can easily grab it from the bag to use it. My stance has always been the amount of designing and engineering that goes into building a phone just to cover it seems a bit strange lol.

A part of me is definitely with you in that regard. I rather enjoyed using the Fold 4 naked the first few days before my case arrived. But I also kept worrying about where I put the Fold 4. On the couch or coffee table, no problem, but if I had to set it on a concrete table outside or brick fire pit, those situations made me afraid for my phone again.
