one UI 6 seems like a nice update to come. lockscreen widgets on AOD along with lockscreen. Would be good on the bigger foldable screens

I am somewhat disappointed in the Fold 5. I was hoping Samsung would go for a larger front disaply. Even making the whole devcie a little shorter and not so long and narrow. But from the rumors I have read the Fold 6 will have a wider front display.

Yeah the fold 6 demo looks impressive.

brighter screen is certainly a bonus with the hinge being much improved. Battery life seems a good step up as expected though.

Pixel 7 pro

But I will be buying pixel 8 pro in October. Trade ins are so bad here for pixel thought would trade in early.
Yeah, that makes sense.

Looking forward to your first impression... word is that actually having in hand can portray the differences between the Fold 4 and 5. We only looking at it from the standpoint of what's on the spec sheet.. but actually holding it can tell a different story.

Yeah looking forward to trying it out to see the main differences. Think the hinge and being thinner will be most noticeable. Brightness jump will be ideal in day to day use. One thing I noticed with the 14 pro max

My phone is being delivered tomorrow 😁
I already received my first pair of Buds2 Pro. The rest of my order (Flip 5, Watch 6 classic, and second pair of Buds2 Pro) should all arrive in one package tomorrow. The package still shows in transit, and hasn't even been scanned in my city yet, so I feel it'll come on Friday instead. For whatever reason, lately FedEx has been off by a day for their expected delivery date.

The Flip 5 people. Will you be using cases and screen protectors on the flex screen? My early post got lost I think. No responses.

I'm so tempted to try a Flip 5. I didn't like the Razr 40 Ultra at all but I think this looks great. Plus the last Flippy I had (Flip 3) I really enjoyed. It just comes at the wrong time of year as I will likely end up getting rid when the new pixel comes round so it's almost pointless, but I really want to see how it compares to Razr and whether I use the outside screen more.

I didn't like it much on the Razr but I wasn't sold on that phone at all tbh.

Want to save yourself a tonne of money... If you want a Fold 5, then just use a Fold 4 with a case on it, then take the case off once you get used to the thickness and then it will feel like a Fold 5!

Just been into the phone store to see the Fold 5, really not that much difference to warrant £900-£1,000 more to switch up from a sim free 4 to a sim free 5 imo.

Just arrived, time to grab a coffee and do a fresh set up. Most people use smart switch to move things over to the new phone, but I prefer a fresh set up whenever I get a new phone. I like the feeling of a fresh new start.

No case for me. Didn't use a case on my Flip4, even though I had a free case with my preorder of the Flip4. If I were to use one, I'd go with a slim case for sure.

Can’t wait to hear your thoughts

And watching the livestream now lol. The noise and the moto driving me nuts. The flip 5 seems to be going strong at 55k

If the numbers were that simple :)

Most should be getting a 2 year extended warranty, double storage free case and a $200 voucher plus 15% min of accessories and watches

Depending how much this applies to each user along with the SD Gen 2 improvements and hinge and S-pen it can stack up to more than you suggest :)
